What a calm and easy move for my mom! Thorough and quick, this makes for less stress of my mom! The room is clean and the food was hot. Marla was knowledgeable and helpful throughout the process! So glad we picked Harborview!

My brother lived independently until a stroke in the summer of 2013 landed him in the hospital for a few days and in rehab for another month and a half. He regained most of his physical and cognitive abilities but not enough to resume living independently. He has lived at Harbor View Home for nearly six years now and it is home.He values the ability to come and go as he pleases but can access help when he needs it. His hearing is impaired and the staff at Harbor View often help with making appointments on the phone for him. If he has a problem in his apartment-something breaks or the AC isnt working-he just calls the front desk and it gets fixed.Two days before Passover, he was found unresponsive on the floor of his room. Jasmin Ginn, care manager at Harbor View, sat and talked to him while waiting for 911 to respond. Everyone at Harbor View helped in the days and weeks that followed to provide any assistance to Harvey and myself that was needed. When he came home to Harbor View from rehab, he was warmly greeted and went right back to his normal routine.Everyone at Harbor View, from management to staff to nursing assistants to medication supervisor and (health) care manager, and the front desk greeters, are warm and supportive. They are currently undergoing renovations that will make life even easier for the residents. I am happy to give them a 5 star rating for their balance of independent living and assistive care when needed.

Great Place, Excellent staff. Very comfortable and nice accommodations. My grandpa is really enjoying his stay and is being treated amazingly.Would highly recommend it for all your loved ones.

Im so glad we found this place for my aunt! The staff is helpful and courteous. The management is really caring and will go the extra mile for each resident. Ms. Marla really deserves a special mention for making the transition so pleasant. We are looking forward to the upcoming renovations this summer. A fresh new look with those ocean views will really be the icing on the cake 🙂

My grandmother has been there for a little over a year due to Alzheimers and Dementia, my sisters and I are very pleased with this place. Shes doing great. The staff is very nice and they seem to care about my grandmother and the other residents. The communication is very good as well. The social worker always keeps in touch with us. So far, I have only compliments.

This place has been a godsend for my mom. I continue to communicate with Marla and she has been nothing but helpful, genuinely cares about her residents and it shows. Anytime I call or come to visit, my mom is happy, and obviously well cared for by the staff. Any issues I have had, and there were very few, were addressed immediately and rectified just as quickly. I can with 100% confidence recommend Harborview Home for Adults to anyone looking for a safe and loving place for their loved ones. My mom had been a resident for a little over 2 years now and although there are changes with the management, the one thing that has remained the same is upper management cares deeply about their residents. Especially Marla whom I regularly communicate with and is always there to help.

Amazing people, was dealing with my elderly parent and was not able to manage and Marla patiently explained the process and was there throughout the entire process. Mom loves it there and I feel comfortable knowing she is in a caring place.

In response to reviews from Serena Fuccillo, Jennifer Ann(Costanza) Joseph Uzzo, Athena Costanza ,SAD that you feel the need to lie and post false information on google ,as you threatened me today while we were in your moms room ,in front of the police officers (that you called )Its devastating to see how people use social media to bully people for no reason what so ever. Just because you feel that you have the power to do it without consequences. Rest assure I did contact google and flagged all reviews from the mentioned above and are waiting investigation from google reviews. Your momgrandmother is a resident at Harbor View and quite happy. I am sorry that your family has personal issues and you feel the need to bring me into this situation. Your mom, whom can make her own decisions, decided not to go to the hospital and was begging me to stay with her and help her .As you were insisting she go to hospital for altered mental status. Our supervisor of the HHAs and our medication supervisor were called to your moms room while this was going on and stated that there has been no changes in your moms behavior, therefore your mom was able to make her own decision And not go to the hospital. Just to make things clear I DO NOT make decisions on if a resident goes to the hospital or not, the Ems that were called are the medical personnel who has that authority, I am not the owner, I do not work on commission, I am not the bookkeeper , I am not a medical expert, I am however working at Harbor View for the past 33 years serving all our residents with honesty , integrity and to prove it I have families that I cared for their mom and dad who are now residents themselves. My mom lovingly calls Harbor View her home. Harbor View provides her with confidence to stay as active and mobile as possible. The daily activities provide her the stimulation to participate and interact with other residents. The social interaction rounds out her life at Harbor View and is very important.
