The best rehab place so far The rehab facility has caring and attentive nurses who provide excellent support to patients. The staff are kind, professional, and make sure everyone receives the care they need. My aunt stayed there, and her recovery was quick because of the high-quality treatment and encouragement she received. Overall, it is a welcoming place with a dedicated team that helps patients recover successfully.

Highly Recommended! A very warm and compassionate place. ™ My husband came home yesterday after his second stay at Ditmas Park Nursing & Rehab. Once again, he received wonderful care from head to toe. What we love most about this place is that the staff really works with heart and genuine compassion. They treated my husband with so much kindness.The daily care was incredibly thoughtful and organized. The nurses were very attentive, helping him freshen up twice a day, changing linens, and checking his blood sugar carefully. They coordinated his dialysis smoothly, and the PT team was excellent. His meals were well managed, the room was kept very clean, and medications were always on time. The social workers also helped with everything for his outside doctor's appointments, from the ride to the escort. He even enjoyed the activities and getting a haircut!The quiet attentiveness we experienced here is truly appreciated. They didn't just do their jobs; they cared for him with real heart. We've only been home for one day, but I miss them all already! We are so grateful to everyone there. If you are looking for a rehab facility that is both professional and genuinely kind, I highly recommend them.

This is my second stay at Ditmas Park Rehab Center and I am reporting to say that I had a wonderful time. I was very well taken care of by all the nurses and all the staff. The food was good. They have all the amenities you would want. And the people here are really sweet. I highly recommend this place to anyone.

While visiting the facility I met some of the staff and some of the patients. Mrs Griffin was amazing and the staff that I met in the morning was great. Guard at door was even pleasant. Was able to pray for some of the patients which also was a blessing to do

My dad has been here twice now. The staff is very present and compassionate. He enjoys the food and there are lots of activities to keep the residents entertained. The building itself is clean and rooms are well maintained. Very welcoming community.

Ditmas park is a wonderful place. Everyone is supernice and helpful and extremely professional. My mother in laws, who is 89 years old, life was saved in Ditmas Park when other facilities literally gave up on her.

The place seems nice, I come visit my grandfather once a month because I live in Virginia. Only complaint is the FOOD! He hates it, I hear alot of patients hate it. So if he don’t eat the food he don’t eat, he’s 80 and don’t know how to Work his phone for DoorDash. That’s my only complaint is they have to do better with the meals. My grandfather is hungry. The nurses are friendly.

The best rehab center I know of. The staffs are extra courteous and don't mind helping the patients. Miss Renata, Nurse Anne, Nurse Britain, Miss Jones, Miss Primond and Miss Dako were my favorite people over there. They made me feel like I was home. The cleaners kept the place immaculate. Isaac and Emily are great at their job. I was treated like family. Jean and Tashima and Ludmila are exceptional at the Physical therapy department. These people are great assets to the facility. Kevon and Muhammad are such gentlemen. I will recommend this facility to anyone. The only minor issue is the food. Culinary needs to be universal and inclusive.

I benefited from having a Visitor's restroom on the unit instead of having to go downstairs to the Lobby like most other Nursing Homes. It was also very clean. Thank you!

Place is spacious, clean, with wood furniture and wallpaper. Staff checked in while we were there. Patient is fussy about food but there is a fridge for him to use. Outside of bldg is cheerful.

Staff at Ditmas Park made this rehab stay into a pleasure, rather than another uncomfortable chore. I wanted to get back home; instead, the warm smiles, welcoming remarks, and chats added up to a vacay with demanding gym tutors. I hate needing help with ordinary physical actions. The staff over here is superb with showing you workarounds that keep you safe while getting stronger, getting basics done during post-op recovery. (And spending some time that’s free of cooking & dishes is really a plus.) I wish I was better with names because I really want to name the folks I want to thank. So, shout-out to everyone on 5. After that Jackie and the whole floor’s staff; Jean & Lucille in PT & OT; Miss Maline, Joel, and the other nurses. I have another big surgery later this year, and I know exactly where to go for rehab: Ditmas Park Rehab Center.

The gentleman at the front desk was very hands on in showing me how to work the registration gadget to showing me which elevator to take. Then when getting off and missed the room of patient two of your staff ladies pointed me towards the right direction. So,overall from entering to exiting my visit turned out pleasant. I want to thank the whole staff at Ditmas park care center for their excellent work. The standout staff consist of Grace, Ann and Mrs Britton. I want to give a deep thanks to the CNAs on the unit. As well as a thanks to the physical therapy staff in particular Adi and Patricia. My stay at Ditmas was very pleasant I was finally able to rest peacefully. I would highly recommend this place to anyone.

The rehab staff is amazing they are good for their patients. Shena sai and pat are fantastic. The nursing staff was awesome to name a few the supervising nurse Cathay nurse ingram cna di amy Melissa. House keeping ray and Thomas made sure our room was clean. My problem is when they insurance is longer paying let the patients know. The food menu is not good the things they say are on the menu is not on your tray and you have to be able to accommodate all patients. No one should have to ring the buzzer for assistance and sometimes it takes an hour. Staff also need to identify themselves. I forgot to mention the transporters who was very good but she needs help. Akima the recreational person was awesome. Very pleasant and helpful.

My father-in-law is a ventilator patient they took terrific care of him. The family was very calm, knowing that he’s in good hands. The staff would always reach out by phone to give updates to the family. He made tremendous progress and is now home, even after being released the staff still called several times to check up to make sure all is good.

I toured this facility, what i see is PT therapists that look tired, there is equipment piled up in the PT room. Patients who have done PT sit in their wheelchairs complaining that they are not being taken upto their room. The activity area had 6 people around the table half of whom were sleeping, the leader was chatting with someone. Most of patients were in their room, during tour I was told many just want to stay in bed, I dont know, it feels theres not enough staff around, ratio I was told of nursing staff is 1 to 8, I have nothing to go by to confirm this. Some people I spoke to liked the staff at the facility and felt like they were getting care they needed. This is my opinion and every family member considering Skilled Nursing should tour and form their own opinion.

My experience at ditmas rehab center was extremely delightful, lovely accommodations, nurses were very attentive to patient care and treated you like family. When it was time to leave I was very reluctant to go. A special thank you to the physical therapists who encouraged me to do therapy even when I didn't want to. I would recommend this facility to anyone.

If you are looking for a Rehabilitation facility choose Ditmas. The staff are professional, caring and go over and beyond to ensure your needs are met. From the cleaners, nurses, CNA workers , occupational therapist, physical therapist, social workers are all outstanding and take their job seriously. They exceeded my expectations. I had a particularly great experience with their Physical Therapy department. Without my therapist, Jean I would not have made the progress that I did. I am now ambulating confidently with a walker. I could not put my foot on the ground my first week there but he was able to encourage me to push past the pain and my fears to succeed. Daily exercises and encouragement helped me considerably. His Treatment Plan worked for me. I would like to thank the team at Ditmas for all the support and care that I received as a patient. I could not have made it without their positivity and professionalism. Without hesitation I therefore recommend Ditmas Rehabilitation Center for your rehabilitation needs. Yolande Balgobin.

Update, I took my husband home from Ditmas Park, because I felt the Speech-language Pathologist in charge of whether my husband could eat by month did not do right by him. When I took him home he was under 100 pounds, now he has gained weight and is recovering well. It was good to hear that they have replaced the SLP, hopefully with someone with more experience. By in large most of the staff, nursing, and OT and PT were great people, and professional. However, I cannot get over the emails I sent and voicemails I sent regarding my husband eating that went unanswered. If you are looking for a place for your loveone to recover then Ditmas Park will provide that basic recovery help. Go often to visit and advocate if you must. Hopefully the Administration continues to make progress in finding good/experienced staff to better serve the patients. My husband deserved better.

My mother stayed in Ditmas Park for three weeks. The service was good, the facility smelled clean, and the nurses were approachable and respectful. My mother was always well cared for and clean. She received excellent physical therapy. The only issue was the food”there was too much pasta.

My experience has been a lot of valid complaints from a friend who is there. Your rehab should do better. The nursing care is there is not a lot of need to take care of people. A person had to wait so long to be taken care of. The food dietary you send menus that people cannot eat due to medical reasons. It is cold or half cooked. It is atrocious. You have to do better. Someone stole money and lost their clothes.
