Our experience at Park Place was wonderful for my mothers Journey. The staff provided a warm welcome environment and went above and beyond to support our family and provide loving care. We would definitely return to the facility if we needed their services again. From the front office to the food service to the care givers, everyone worked hard to make this time in our lives the best it could be. I really find enjoyment in being a volunteer. I volunteer a couple days a week to participate in activities. I have formed friendships with them all. I enjoy going on outings and spending time with them all.

I am the activities director and I find my day is truly fulfilled when I spend my day with the residents. We do lunch outings, trips around Reno, cooking class, bingo, bunko, arts and crafts, live music, and so so much more....my mom even volunteers to come participate in activities.

Park Place has provided awesome care for both my mom and dad. Dad passed last year after a short stay. It was during Covid Chaos and under the reign of a loony lady. Since then a new director (Ben) has improved the place noticably. The staff are caring and seem to be happy at work. This makes a marked difference in the care that they provide. My mother feels loved and safe. She has told me several times to "keep her here". Im sure she recalls some of the nightmare facilities that her father stayed in years ago. I highly recommend you do your own homework. Then, choose Park Place. You won't regret it !!

Had two loved ones there through their transition of life. One for 5+ years and the other for hospice care. They both thoroughly enjoyed the facilities and staff at Park Place and often told me that it was like home to them! They were both picky eaters and enjoyed the food there. Especialy the pot pies and daily soups with the meals. I highly reconmend Park Place for your loved ones in need of care and observation. They treat every resident as family with a real home feel. The staff is outstanding and the facilities are excelent!

I’ve had the opportunity to work with many of the assisted living communities in town and Park Place is one of my favorite! They have an incredible staff, great patient care and a unique home-like feel. I would highly recommend Park Place to anyone looking for a place to call home!

Five star rating in my book. I love it here at Park Place. I enjoy the activities, food and staff. I highly recommend this community plus they allow my little Bichon to live with me. I feel safe,happy and lots of love.

I had my grandmother at Park Place Assisted Living until she passed. I really loved the family feel. They were constantly putting on activities for the residents that we were invited to participate in. My favorite was the trick or treat event. My daughter loved coming and trick or treating through all of the houses. We also really loved the Breakfast Over Balloons where we could come watch the Balloon Races and visit over coffee in their activity room (great view without the hassle!). It was so impactful for my daughter growing up and being exposed to the elderly, earning a great respect for the Grandmas and Grandpas! Thank you to Jeanne and the rest of the Park Place staff for all that you do!

Although it was difficult seeing my Mom’s health decline, I was so happy she was at Park Place. The entire staff was fantastic throughout her 4 years living there. As she progressed toward the end, their compassion and professionalism were evident. I am so glad she was there and words cannot begin to convey my appreciation of their actions and friendship. They really are like family. I am forever grateful.

Park Place Assisted Living is a wonderful facility for a loved one. My mother has lived at this very clean, warm ranch style home for 6 years. She is extremely happy. The food is wonderful, the staff is very knowledgeable, very clean, the activities are awesome and most of all the love that is givin is 24, 7. I highly recommend this facility.

It was a difficult decision having to move my 88 year old mother into an assisted living facility. Her dementia had gotten so bad it was not safe to leave her at home alone and the cost of 24, 7 in-home care was more than what we could afford. I did extensive research and toured many different assisted living facilities in the Reno area and decided on Park Place. I knew mom could easily find the dining area, would enjoy the front porch, landscaping and short walks. However, most importantly, I knew mom would be SAFE. After a year at Park Place, mom became ill and was under hospice care. I am grateful she was allowed to stay at Park Place during this time. It is not easy losing your mother and since my siblings lived out of town, the staff at Park Place became my extended family during this difficult time. Jeanne Bishop-Parise, Executive Director for Park Place, was at moms bedside during her final days, playing the guitar and singing to her. Even though mom was in a coma, Jeanne promised me mom could hear the music. I will never forget the kindness shown to me by the staff at Park Place but more importantly the loving and compassionate care mom received while she was there.
