The best community in VEGAS. the entire staff is amazing, especially Misti Nation, their activities director. She's warm and full of love and compassion, changing their lives daily, she provides them with a will to prosper.

Choosing to come to Desert Springs Senior Living community as their Life Enrichment Director was the BEST decision I've ever made. Never have I experienced such an incredible team to work with and building full of the MOST wholesome and incredible residents. We are ALL family here. Everyone looks out for one another, cares for each other and is there for one another. The Residents here are grateful, kind, funny, sincere and appreciate everything. I am blessed to be able to spend my day engaging and loving each and every one of them. We stay very busy here at the springs, from our fun socials, crafts and activities to our excursions outside of the building together- eating at new restaurant's and shopping around the city. When you walk into our community- you will feel the love exuding from every corner of it. Shoulders are dropped, residents and staff are smiling, laughing and living life to the fullest. Come see for yourself. I'm here to stay- and so are our residents. At Desert Springs- we are HOME.

I brought my dad in to see the facility. The energy in there was so good. The residents seemed happy and seem to rave about their activities director Misti. Judy was helpful with the questions we had and seemed very compassionate. When the time comes, this will be where my father will be at.

Horrible, I can't wait to move out. Since the new manager, both residents and employees can't get out of here fast enough. One woman left after one month, another three months and another six months. The food is vile, and I have pictures. The food manager is rude and condescending to residents The new manager raised our rent and has spent it on furniture to make himself look good. Last month we had a Covid outbreak. Because this manager delayed closing the building, 30 residents got Covid THIRTY. And some employees. I read the positive reviews, and most of them are managers in this building. They will sink to any level

Menu repetious and food tasteless. Too much Italian, pasta, rice and hamburger. Meat usually overcooked. Med techs and care givers are cheerful, giving and helpful. Care givers are overworked because there are not enough of them.

The facility is very nice and the apartments practical. The management staff is excellent as here's the medical and other staff here. The food is excellent and the activities director is creative and puts together excellent programs. After a little over 2 months here, my experiences have all been great. I highly recommend this facility and It's staff.

This resident selected Desert Springs Senior Living from six independent residential possibilities. Part of the draw was remaining in Spring Valley, moving one mile after four years of living in a 55+ community. Residing here for 2.5 months permitted my initial recovery to allow a healthy return to outside extended walking periods. Moving here returned my hope for the future. I speak with the executive director periodically. I have little contact with his Directors of Culinary and Maintenance. But every request this reviewer has made has been fulfilled. This individual has more contact with wait staff, caregivers, nurses, and residents. As Las Vegas is a Cosmopolitan City in the Desert, most nationalities are represented by caring folks. Meeting residents and having conversations was part of the regimen I needed in daily human contact. Learning first names has made this more of a family atmosphere in dining, activities, and simply walking the halls. A prospective resident will meet with the Family Advisor. She is attentive to your family's needs. (She is also a prior nurse.) Based on telephone conversations and face-to-face interviews, she designs a recommended program for your loved one. This multi-level, after-care residence provides services for one week or a remaining lifetime. In this older structure are some of the most caring medical and support staff a family could ask for. This resident purposefully waited to write this review. Recovery will be ongoing, as with many families. Finally, I could not have asked for a more pleasant experience in independent senior living. Kudos!

My mom has happily moved into the Desert Springs Senior Living recently and based on my observations, here are my top 10 reasons why I think this is an excellent facility. It is my bad that I can't remember everyone's names. 10. We felt a sense of community from the first day we moved in. The staff and tenants have made it a point to meet us and help us get integrated. 9. The community loves pets. 8. Facility is well maintained from Jeff, Ivory, and Jim. 7. Orderly housekeeping from Charlotte. 6. Yummy snacks and meal from Barbara, Edna, and Patrice. 5. Lively activities from Myra. 4. Thoughtful care from Cora, Angela, Michelle, Ann, and Rosalyn. 3. Welcoming staff from John and Wendy. 2. Caring leadership from Marcus. 1. Generous and friendly tenants like Rosemary.

Such a great community. Numerous great changes since the leadership here has changed. Marcus is the new leader on this team and you can see the involvement he has with his care staff. The residents engage positively with the staff and truly seem to be shining while at Desert Springs. I recommend checking this community out if you are looking for a home for your loved one.

Desert Springs Senior Living is a quality organization that truly cares about both it's employees and residents. I recently had the opportunity to tour the community and was impressed by the fun atmosphere and friendly team. There was live entertainment in the dining room, front desk was helpful and kind, and the community has recently had renovation work completed. It looks great! The team at Desert Springs was awesome. They clearly have passion for what they do and are striving to get better every day. I can confidently recommend this community as a great place in Las Vegas for any senior looking for an awesome community or a family looking for a safe and caring home for a loved one. My grandmother has lived at Desert Springs for four years. I wouldnt put her anywhere else! The caregivers take really good care of her. The building is kept up nicely and And everybody is very nice and welcoming every time I visit

The staff at Desert Springs is phenomenal! They are so very attentive and always personable. Lunch always looks great, and the salon is adorable. They regularly have fun activities and outings for the residents to enjoy. You cannot beat all of the arrangements for their price point!

his is my 2 nd post because my first one never posted. I took my parents to this facility for an 11:00 am appointment. I noticed a bunch of people in the TV room sitting there not interacting. No smiles, no conversations. My husband and I asked several residents how the food and the care was. Their replies were, its ok. My parents had lunch. Their receptionist showed us 1 room prior to lunch. We entered dining room before 11:30. As we waited, there was almost a fight between 2 residents. The staff didnt notice so I told them. It wasnt until after 1:30 that I went out for the 2nd time to remind them we were waiting. The director showed us several other apartments. The hallways were way too long for two 92 year old people with walkers. The elevator took so long to arrive. Another resident complained that his A, C wasnt working and it was 85 degrees in his room. We finally had our 11:00 appt at 2:00. Not impressed at all. Felt more like a nursing home to me. Also, I felt they were too busy to address us on time and residents concerns. Not a good match for my parent

The quality of service here deserves a 5star 10-Diamond rating. The staff is always pleasant, and they go above and beyond to make sure the guest are satisfied. When you walk through the doors theres a sense of Peace that over whelms you, its very calming and feels like home.
