My husband entered Brookdale Senior Living Memory Care, at the age of 99. The facility on Russell was in the process of being repaired, due to water leaks, nothing got in the way. It is well done and pleasant given the age of the property. I had interviewed earlier in the year, about residency, when it became apparent I could no longer care for him safely in our home. A room was available for him and 12-26-23 he moved in. From the first contact, to the end of his care needs, he was treated with loving attention, and kindness. He was a hospice patient. The staff of Brookdale, with Physician's Choice Hospice care, addressed all of his health issues, with a professional manner, and also met my needs as a spouse dealing with end of life on a day to day basis. My husband required round the clock care, and the Brookdale staff provided this, to maintain his safety and comfort. He was a resident for 135 days, and I was on site, at all different hours during that period., as well as visiting family members who visited. We were welcomed with smiles and messages of comfort always. We were aware of the connection Brookdale fostered with their residents. The business side of residency at Brookdale was handled with good communication and efficiency. We thank Brookdale during this most difficult time. Chris, Sada, Wilma, LeeAnn, Alissa, AND all the care helpers in the memory care unit, as well as Nurse Molly, and her helpers, and the Dr. and PA from Hospice are to be commended. I will always be grateful they were the ones God put in our lives when we needed them most.

When I was recruited to come to Brookdale or no, and it was recruited.They promised me all these great things. Turns out wasn't anywhere close.It was adequate but nothing great or outstanding. And now two months later their doctor their inhouse doctor is trying to collect money from me. When at the time even now, I have no money they knew that and they kept promising me.I had this bizarre form of health care. Called institutional medicaid. What a crock. Dr. Danny Saige did nothing for me. Had to move out and get help from the VA. If it wasn't for some of the staff, this would be one star. Rather than live there, I moved into the street.

My mom lives at Brookdale and she is happier since moving in than she has been in years. The staff are amazing and treat my mom like she is their own mother. I couldn't ask for a better nurse to oversee the building than Saida. As a nurse myself she is caring, knowledgeable and the residents always come first. Chris the Executive Director always strives to provide extra for the residence. My family is blessed to have such a great team caring for our mom.

Since having my mom move into Brookdale, I have seen her blossom. At home she would talk to herself and imagine things. Now that she's in Brookdale, her mind seems to be "steady". She enjoys the activities and the music that's played daily. She's become her self as best she can for her condition. Brookdale has allowed me to sleep peacefully again. I don't have to sleep downstairs listening to see if my mom is wandering around the house at night. I'm not worried about my mom opening doors and trying to leave the house when she's wandering at night. Brookdale was a blessing for me. I looked for 6 month before deciding on placing my mom in Brookdale. They opened their arms and loved on her from the 1st visit until she was placed. ½½

They have amazing staff and really show that they care. They take the time to get to know their residents and always go the extra mile. The place is always clean. We come to visit on both weekdays and weekends. The resident is very, very happy with her stay.

Seaton Springwood is a caring, enthusiastic community for the elderly population. If you have a loved one that can no longer live alone absolutely this is the place. I have worked at the community 8 months now and I have never been in such a caring loving atmosphere. Also, the actives they have for the residents are fun and amazing.

I was recently at the community for an interview and first was getted by a lovely resident who sparked up a conversation. I have been in many care facilities and one thing that was most impressive was the warm welcoming I received from staff and residents as I walked through. It means a lot when staff and residents are happy. A place I could see my loved one residing and a place I would love the opportunity to work at, wish me good luck! And hope I can become part of the community.
