My first job when I came into usa was at Aegis,so I couldn't tell any difference. I have now worked with many other facilities, group homes etc . Now am so grateful for starting at aegis, this is best place I have worked, the ambient ,team work ,passionate care and empathy for their residents is excellent. Professionalism at it's best is Aegis. Every where I go my Professionalism stands out ,I am able to care for my residents well and am well informed about caring for the aged,sick and disabled well thanks to Aegis. I had left Aegis 3yrs now ,but I still want to say thank you.

There are few moments as challenging as moving one's ailing parent into a memory care facility. From our first visit to Aegis in June 2022, however, we felt our entire family was in safe, caring hands. GM Markie Hamlin and the wonderful Aegis team were highly professional, warm, and kind. It's never an easy transition, but we quickly learned we could trust the vigilant Aegis team - from the caregivers to the nursing staff to the activities team to the in-house physical and occupational therapy team and beyond - to treat Mom with respect and dignity and to provide her safe care. They consulted us on any emerging needs, responded quickly and positively to any of our requests, and took infection prevention seriously to protect their vulnerable residents. We were lucky that Mom's health took an unexpected turn for the better so she could return home after 5 months, but we will be forever grateful we found this outstanding community, both for Mom's care and our family's peace of mind. Thank you, Aegis!

I can't say enough positive things about the care my husband received while living at Aegis. I never saw anything except love and respect for all residents. The staff is very special. The director, Markie Hamlin, is so knowledgeable and easy to work with. Many of the caregivers have worked there many years which says a lot. My experience was that of feeling like everyone was family. My husband is at peace now and I am at peace knowing that I and my Aegis family made his life beautiful.

When we came to select a facility for our wife & mother, Aegis was recommended and after researching and visiting, we were convinced that the care that was needed was found. After a year of memory care and medical attention, we are completely satisfied. When we have meetings with Markie, Isabelle, and Val, they assure me that if we have a problem, we can rely on help and guidance from each one of them.

My mother was a resident of Aegis Living Las Vegas for the last two years of her life, the staff at this facility was absolutely amazing with a special thanks to Chen. Markie Hamlin is the general manager of the Las Vegas facility and she is truly a special person. She was caring and loving to my mom and made my family feel at ease during this difficult time.

This is a beautiful facility. I toured with Donald who was extremely helpful when I was looking for a place for my mother. It is safe, well run and maintained with a comfortable and peaceful environment. The residents look so happy. The staff is pleasant and friendly. I highly recommend this facility for taking care of loved ones. Also its in a great location which makes visiting easy.

In January of this year we had the pleasure of meeting Debra Moore, General Manager of Aegis Living. She helped us secure a room for our Aunt, Marie McDermott. We were so relieved to get her in such a wonderful caring atmosphere. The excellent care that was given to her was over the top. All the Aides are excellent there. When our Aunt first arrived there she had severe swelling in both legs with continuous fluid draining from them. Deb Gavner, the nurse treated her legs daily by rubbing them with cream and wrapping them with gauze. The swelling finally diminished and our Aunt was able to use a walker to go to all the activities instead of being confined to a wheelchair. In March, COVID-19 crisis was very unexpected, but it was handled with such professionalism. Debra Moore, sent email updates on a regular basis to the residents’ families to inform them how they were handling the crisis. We were happy that our Aunt was in a place that was taking every precaution to prevent the residents from getting COVID. Sadly, in August our Aunt was diagnosed with Cancer and arrangements were made to have Hospice treat her. We were not able to be there with her because of COVID, but Aegis made it possible for us to FaceTime with her whenever possible. During her remaining days she was given loving care, keeping her pain free and comfortable until she passed on August 19. Sincerely grateful, George and Shirley M

Id like to give Aegis living of Las Vegas 5 Stars. My husband was a resident for 3 1-2 years 07-11. I still stop by to visit and all the same employees that took care of my husband are still there. That says a lot about the Director Debra Moore and head Nurse Deb Gavner.

If I could give more than five stars, I would. My mother-in-law went to Aegis when her memory started to deteriorate. My husband and I said repeatedly that everyone that worked there was a saint. Each person was nicer and more caring than the next. My mother-in-law just passed, but the staff at Aegis took amazing, compassionate care of her until her last moment. I cant say enough positive things about the facility and the wonderful staff.

Aegis of Las Vegas is very good and friendly. They looked like they had a good program and lots of entertainment for the people there. The staff member who gave me the tour was very helpful. The place's style and ambiance were a little bit older, but the place is in good condition. They have lectures multiple times a week, educational programs, musicians, and there's a lot of participation. It's a well-established facility with professional management. They have lots of amenities and courtyards.

My mom has been at Aegis Las Vegas for 2 years and I think it is a phenomenal community. The caregivers are unbelievable! All the staff are wonderful caring people and that's what really counts. Only now it seems there are not many workers there. My mom's hallway (or neighborhood) has at least 20 residents and only 2 caregivers. If they are changing one resident, nobody is watching the rest. It's a dangerous situation. I'm writing this mainly to suggest hiring more CNA's before somebody gets hurt!

Recently moved my Dad here. All the staff are very caring and concerned. The staff always stops to answer questions and acknowledge. The facility is always very clean. There are a lot of different activities and small communities. One of the reasons I chose Aegis is the size of the facility - much more personal. My Dad does not have any complaints so I know they must be doing something right.

Aegis has been very good. They haveactivities in the morning from after breakfast all the way up to lunch time. In the afternoon, they bring in different singers, and their staff does singalongs with everybody. I feel like I'm going to a Vegas show every time I go in there in the afternoon. It's very clean and very personable, and they know my mother even though she's only been there only a month. Everybody interacts with the residents, and you feel like it's a nice home. They even have a house dog Zeus, who is just the sweetest golden retriever. The residents love it.
