I have been living in Assisted Living at The Neighborhood 8 months and it is my home. I am happy and excited to be here. I have more confidence because I have professional staff available - - whether for a simple question or a more serious problem, they are here to help. We are served with dignity and often treated as family members in all areas, including nurses, aides, and housekeeping. We get to know our neighbors through various fun and educational activities. We are challenged and play games as a group. We are able to use our individual talents together and in individual ways. The Therapy departments are excellent. They are challenging, helpful and fun. We often have games, using our new skills in a fun way. Our family and friends are welcomed and encouraged to visit, either in our apartments or in nice visiting areas. I feel this is exactly where God and my husband would have me be.

I have heard nothing but great things about the Neighborhood located in Rio Rancho. I have interacted with one of the drivers on multiple occasions and he is a very wonderful person. I believe his name is Clint. The residents at the Neighborhood are exceptionally lucky to have such an awesome person to transport them to and from the places they need to go! Anytime I am helping him take care of the account with our business he is always mindful of the Neighborhoods residents and the small parts of their everyday that he feels they deserve to experience. Shout out to Clint, I hope that this organization recognizes the value you bring to your job and your residents!

My Dad is in the memory care portion of this community. We were greeted by the receptionist warmly, staff were prepared and knew we were coming. My father suffers from advanced Alzheimer's. This is the best place he has ever been! It is warm, inviting, great activities for the residents. The staff is amazing! My dad's room...the best. It is quiet & clean. The food is wonderful! Everyone from Ashly I worked with getting my father admitted, to the RN's, CNA's (Margarita is wonderful!) My Dad is thriving here. I highly recommend The Neighborhood!

Staff here is amazing!!! Took great care of my mother in law while she was in hospice. Literally treated her like a part of their family. Treated us just as good with care and concern and understanding. Very homely facility, doesnt make you feel like a hospital or nursing home. Place is spotless,food is delicious and views are beautiful. Again, the staff here truly wants to be there and want to do their job well!!!!

We recently brought my mother in law to the neighborhood as a last resort Drs could not help her in another city..Efren Gallardo and the rest of the staff wer very helpful along with all the nurses and the techs..She was able to return home feeling a lot better after a few weeks...I would recommend the Neighborhood 100% to anyone looking for an assisted living facility...

My elderly mother was referred to the neighborhood thats in Rio Rancho its fairly new very clean well-kept and very close to where we live. It is a blessing in disguise, she had been to a previous Rehabilitation Center named Encompass in Albuquerque and we were very unhappy. The neighborhood has excellent nurses doctors and staff they treated her with respect she had a private room that was very nice with a large walk-in shower and toilet area. They have a very nice cafeteria with very good food and they have a lot of social activities for those who live there whether theyre in the nursing home part of the facility or assisted living or memory care and family members can meet with them to have meals. She received excellent physical therapy and was able to get back on her feet so she could go back home and manage. Theres one nurse that we would really like to thank, she worked on the weeknd her name is Marianne and she is a real angel she really made sure my mom was comfortable, we learned so much from her. She is retired nurse that decided she wanted to continue caring for elderly people or others who need health care and so she works the weekends at the neighborhood. It is so nice inside it doesnt feel like a nursing home or hospital It feels like home away from home. I have decided if I ever need to be in a facility for care when Im older I want to be at the neighborhood!!!

I visited this beautiful neighborhood for the second time recently. I stayed a few days and had the opportunity to meet high quality staff at all levels. Those I met were kind, happy, and impressive. I spoke to several residents and each one of them expressed to me how happy they were that they made the decision to move into this neighborhood. Many said that they feel safe, happy, and well cared for. The community is beautiful, modern, and well-cared for. So far from the memories I have of retirement living when my grandfather needed care (nursing homes only).

First off, you will not find more caring or capable PT, OT or ST professionals anywhere. They are the reason we stayed. The nursing, however, is a bit hit or miss, with way too much agency staffing on the weekends. And the food is AWFUL. Bland, pre-packaged and heated, or frozen and hardly a fresh or imaginative thing to be found. Also, portions are tiny and food is often stone cold. Im surprised all patients arent losing weight. Admin staff could use some turnover, as well.

I have consulted almost all the big rehab places of Rio Rancho for my Fathers hip sugary and got good results only at The Neighborhood. Best doctors and best services. Doctors give proper time to patients and Social services, Nursing made it really easy when discharging home . Thank you Neighborhood staff for all you do!

My mother in law was placed at The Neighborhood for rehab for her hip she had a fall at home and then was sent to rust medical center where the wrong medications were given to her at rust hospital . she then was discharged to the neighborhood I was very uneasy at first when i met with the marketer as she was unable to answer any of our questions . once my mother in law was in her room the nursing staff took such great care of her and gave us a sense of security. I did not get an opportunity to thank the nursing staff, social worker,dinning staff and the administrator who we got to meet in person! you all have an A team in our eyes and we will recommend this place to all of our peers . I will be looking to place myself there for rehab for my up coming knee replacement.

My mother entered supportive Care on June 1st, and could not be happier! The facility is beautiful, and the employees from the cafeteria workers to the nurses are wonderful and love the people!

They all go out of their way to accommodate our requests.I like the feel of friendship and fellowship that I have with my fellow Neighbors.The concept of having professional Healthcare staff here, allows me to feel more secure at night. Long term care on third floor and skilled services on second. Staff were very accommodating to residents needs. No complaints about food service. There was an available Bistro with limited menu items. Plenty of parking.

This complex is amazing. Every single one of the staff without exception are extremely nice and friendly. The food has been great every time I have eaten with my parents. Lots of in-facility and off campus activities, and directed towards a wide variety of interests.
