My husband and I recently toured Solstice Senior Living with the Sales Director, Laura Arriaga. We were very impressed with the condition of the facility. It was very clean , modern and well maintained. The dining room was bright, very pleasant and according to the residents that we spoke to, the food was very good with plenty of variety. There are several choices of accommodations. One bedroom and two bedroom apartments and one and two bedroom cottages are an available. Although we have not lived there, Solstice appears to be a very well managed senior living facility with excellent food and a positive welcoming staff.

My mother is very pleased with this facility, starting to feel very comfortable after many months. Facility is clean and close to hospitals and access to many physicians. The staff is very professional and very pleasant, nice dining area and excellent chef with a good choice of nutritious meals. Special thanks to Ms Erica and Ms Laura for running a tight ship.

"My in-laws moved into Solstice Senior Living a few months ago, and we recently celebrated a monumental milestone: their 72nd wedding anniversary. I reached out to Laura to let her know, and she immediately promised that the staff would do something special to mark the day. They absolutely exceeded our expectations! On the day of the anniversary, the team treated my in-laws to a beautiful lunch of shrimp and vegetables in a private sitting area, followed by a lovely chocolate and strawberry dessert. Later that afternoon, they surprised them with fresh flowers and a bottle of wine. Laura and her entire team went above and beyond to make them feel celebrated and cared for. It is such a comfort to know they are in a place that truly values its residents. Thank you, Solstice, for making this incredible day so memorable!"

My mom lived in Solstice for approximately 18 months before we just moved her to a memory care facility. I can tell you that the leadership at the facility truly cares for the elderly. Special thanks to Erika and Laura for their wonderful compassion and care for my mother. I am eternally grateful!

I think people need to know this place is not what it used to be. I truly feel like we got the "bait and switch" when my family member moved in. The food is not great. It is usually cold because takes forever to come out to the residents. I ate with my family member and $10 for a meal is not worth it for what they are serving. Almost all the staff that were in place when my family member moved in 1 year ago - have since left! They are now owned by a different parent company. The kitchen staff and cleaning staff change weekly and there is no consistency for an elderly person who needs daily consistency. I am giving three stars because my family member is mostly happy here but as a caregiver that is a distance away, I don't really trust that they are getting what they need for the amount of rent we spend for her to be there.

Moving to Solstice was a great decision for my elderly mother. It is a big, bright building with lovely staff and lots of great activities, including our favorite - Thursday afternoon happy hour! Wonderful views of the mountains and well tended landscaping. Both my mom and all of us family felt at home right away.

My husband and I have nothing but praise for Solstice. We have housed three parents there over the past 10 years. All three have enjoyed their stays. Isabel, Lily and Kim have been super in taking care of any administrative needs. They are all very caring and attentive to any concerns. Help At Home was employed for two of the three parents. Crystal, Wendy, Sandra, Diego, and many others were very kind, professional, and helpful in so many areas needed. We are forever grateful for all that attended to our parents during their stays at Solstice. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for care for themselves or those they love.

Our 92 year old mother just moved into Solstice three weeks ago. The experience has been nothing but positive for her and for her family. (One family lives in Las Cruces, the other family in Switzerland). From the initial tour to the actual move in was less than a month. The Solstice staff and the Help at Home staff (Help at Home is the assisted living option at Solstice) have always been prompt, helpful, and kind with replies to emails and phone calls. Both have checked in by phone with us to be sure the process is going smoothly. After living independently in her own home until a month ago, our mom needed to be regularly eating three meals a day and to have more opportunities to socialize. She has daily escorts to all three meals at Solstice by the Help at Home caregivers. She has made positive connections with the people who she regularly eats with in the dining room. Also Help at Home caregivers provide escorts to other social activities offered by Solstice. I have often been on the phone with my mom when the Help at Home caregivers come to get her or to check in with her. Every single time the caregivers have been cheerful and kind in every possible way. Thank you Solstice and Help at Home staff for all you are doing to help and care for the wonderful mother who we love so very much! You are very special and important people! Get Outlook for iOS

I have been so impressed with Solstice. The facility is clean and bright. The staff really seems to care about all the residents.They encourage socializing with cocktail hour and other in-house events. There are exercise classes and trips to get the elderly out and about. This is definitely not how I envisioned an assisted living facility. People seem genuinely upbeat to be there.

I was amazed! My neighbor was singing with his choir in a holiday concert at this facility. I had the pleasure of sitting next to a number of nice people, who told me they were very happy to be living there. There are people living there with their pets and they serve the residents snacks and beverages (including alcohol). The staff was very friendly.

Renee was a great guide, giving us lots of info about their partnerships and how that can fit into an overall plan. The building is bright, the calendar is full of activities, they've only had 1 Covid the whole time, the upper 2-bedroom Apts have a wonderful wrap-around porch. The cottages are a nice size, too. I've only seen one other place so the 4 isn't indicative of faults, just lack of comparables.

The activities and food and friendliness all very nice. Drawback is rooms where furnaces are taking up wall space that you can't use to put furniture up against and I realize that's because they're older homes. I really like the balcony going around outside that was a very plus

For a place that bills itself as independent living, it is more of an understaffed assisted-living. The rent charged to the residence is way overpriced for what they offer. There is a caregiving agency that has office space there, Wendy's help at home, that are very good at providing basic assistance as needed for an additional charge. There is also an amazing physical therapist who has an office on site if needed.

My wife and l LOVE Solstice Senior Living at Las Cruces! It is truly Retirement Living at its FINEST. We are starting our 7th year here. The residents, staff, and managers are TERRIFIC. The food is GREAT and there are always MANY activities to participate in. Solstice Senior Living has a heated swimming pool and whirlpool that are FANTASTIC. We live in a two bedroom apartment that is very SPACIOUS and WONDERFUL. We are truly PROUD to call Solstice "Our Home" and hope to spend many more HAPPY YEARS here (God Willing).
