UPDATE - I have lived at The Bridge for just over a year now, and I am revising an earlier review written shortly after I moved in. My first impressions were positive, but over the past year I have come to appreciate even more the caring people and welcoming atmosphere that make The Bridge such a special place. I did not know what to expect, but as time passed, The Bridge felt more and more like home. The heart of The Bridge is the staff. Everyone, from management to caregivers, housekeeping, maintenance, dining services, and activities personnel, plays an important role in making The Bridge a welcoming place to live. I have consistently been treated with kindness, respect, and genuine concern. Their work goes beyond simply doing a job. Day after day, they help create an environment where residents can feel valued, safe, and cared for. Residents come to The Bridge from many different backgrounds and experiences, yet there is a real sense of community here. Friendships develop naturally through shared meals, activities, and everyday conversations. Whether someone is outgoing or more reserved, there are opportunities to connect with others and feel a sense of belonging. One thing I have especially appreciated is the balance between support and independence. Assistance is available when needed, but residents are encouraged to make their own choices and remain as active and involved as possible. It brings my family peace of mind to know that if I need help, it is readily available. Choosing an assisted living facility is an important decision, and every person's needs and circumstances are different. I can only speak from my own experience, but the kindness of the staff, the friendships I have made, and the balance of support and independence have made this a positive chapter in my life. The Bridge at Farmington is the premier living place for those who need or want assisted living arrangements. I have visited there twice and am very impressed with the cleanliness, friendliness of the staff, attractiveness of the surroundings, and pleasant ambiance. I have also had lunch there twice and the food is absolutely delicious. Guests are served the same food as the residents, and it couldn't be better. Debbie Oss is the lady to contact if you would like more information for a family member or a friend. She's lovely and can answer any questions you may have.

I am privileged to lead a church service every Wednesday at the Bridge, and have many opportunities to interact with the staff and residents. The staff is amazing - attentive to the residents' needs, caring, and loving. Someone is always getting a hug! The facility is clean and well maintained.There are always lots of activities for the residents to keep them busy, entertained, and healthy. They are well taken care of! I could see myself living there if I ever need assisted living.

My sister has lived at The Bridge for over a year and she loves it. I have had several meals there and they’re always delicious. This last week my sister hosted our family for a birthday party in the private dining room. The private room was warm and cozy. The staff were friendly and attentive. Our choices for lunch was steak and all the fixings or coconut shrimp. It was hard to choose. I highly recommend their services.

Had the pleasure of visiting my sister-in-law who is a resident at The Bridge. She hosted a birthday party in their private dining room. Food was delicious, staff was very courteous and friendly and most happy to provide whatever assistance we needed. The Bridge is a fabulous home away from home for your seniors. From the beautiful outdoor grounds, to the spacious and lovely individual apartments, The Bridge provides a wonderful option for anyone whose quality of life would be improved through assisted living. I have toured the facility twice and found it to be clean and inviting. There are numerous meeting rooms, including a spacious dining area, a library, and a den where residents can meet with friends and family members. The meals are generous, healthy and delicious, with always something new to try. Most importantly, everyone on staff is caring and fully engaged with the residents. Unlike a nursing home, The Bridge is a vibrant, active living center. From attending concerts to casino outings, the residents are always on the go and enjoying their lives to the fullest. Having met a number of the residents, The Bridge seems to be a place where new friendships are formed and retirement is enjoyed, with the added bonus of not having to cook or do laundry. I highly recommend The Bridge to anyone considering assisted living for either a loved one or for themselves.

My mom has been here for 2 years. We have been so pleased with care of the staff and nursing staff. They take such good and genuine care of momma. However, in the last two years, the quality of food has decreased immensely. They have shrunk the menu items and at times the food is inedible by many of the residents. Thanksgiving dinner was served cold, when there were only a minimum amount of people at the Bridge at the time. When I come, I’m with her every day for a week to two weeks at a time so , I see 22/7 consistently. If you come only one time a month or even one time a week, you don’t see all the behind the scenes that are happening. I want to re-emphasize the staff, and the nursing personnel are fabulous and wonderful. The cleaning staff are overworked. Their hours were cut, but not the amount of work that they have to do. That puts a strain on them, which is very apparent. I hope this gets to corporate.

I recently visited while exploring options for my mom, and I was truly impressed. The staff were warm, welcoming, and very informative. The environment was very nice,clean, and homelike, with a genuine sense of community. They have a calendar full of fun and engaging activities to keep the residents busy, and the activity staff were especially kind and informative. You can tell they really care about their residents. The facility is very clean and the community provides numerous activities for enrichment and resident engagement throughout the weeks with the local community artists, musicians, and others. My mom chose the bridge for her living experience after my Dad passed this previous July. They were married 61 years, and I suppose that can leave somewhat of a void. Now she has been at the bridge for 2 months, and she has become a bit of a social butterfly! She has friends and a bright sunny apartment where she watches the birds out her window. The staff are all welcoming to the family and attentive to her needs. THE BRIDGE IS THE BEST!!!

I was a guest speaker at The Bridge and it was an amazing experience. My host, Debbie and the team made me feel right at home. They had everything set and ready for my talk with the residents. I had a large big screen TV to present with and almost all of the residents attended. I found the residents to be happy, talkative and truly interested in my presentation. Overall it was a top notch afternoon. The Bridge is super clean and welcoming. I would recommend it as a secure well managed facility with happy residents and employees!

My 91 year old aunt has been at the Bridge for 1 1/2 years now.. Her brother, my uncle was there for 3 years several years ago. The staff has been great and we couldn't ask for a more secure feeling knowing they are being taken care of. I've had lunch & dinner with her and so have my cousins and they are more than accommodating to us. The food is actually really good and these residents have literally anything they want or need at their fingertips. All they have to do is call on the staff. My aunt absolutely loves it there! I highly recommend The Bridge.

My 90 year old parents just entered the Bridge assisted living facility this past week. The staff is excellent: helpful, courteous, and attentive. It is much more hands on than I expected; they make sure they get to their meals and do all in their power to help them adjust to a new environment.
