I can honestly say that I NEVER thought that I would find a place in Gainesville for my Dad to live that he would be happy. He didn't really need a nursing home, just assistance. After having a stroke in 2017, I moved him into Wheeler in January 2018. These people love, love, love! They have several levels of care. The employees are not their to just draw a paycheck, the are very active with their residents and they love with all they have. My Dad has now been there for over a year and absolutely loves him home, the residents and all that care for him. I have no doubt in my mind that my Dad would not be here with us today had I not chosen The Wheeler Place to care for and love him. BEST assisted living housing in Gainesvile.....no doubt!
