I highly Recommend The Village at Alameda. I toured with Justina Roybal for my loved one. Unfortunaltely , it was not a good fit because my loved one was needing Memory care and a higher level of care, but she was kind enough to point me in the right direction and connect me with the proper resources to help navigate this transition. if I know of anybody in the future, I highly recommend the Village in alameda . Everybody there was so friendly.

My mom has appreciated the Village very much. She calls her care team her besties. She has a little gated patio and her dog is enjoying that. Although she hasn’t ventured from her room much yet I have met many happy residents and love seeing them enjoy the activities. Justina (management) goes above and beyond to help with anything and everything. She’s professional, personable, compassionate and an absolute asset to everyone!

My dad is a new resident here. He moved from the hospital after a fall and hip surgery. We feel so thankful they had space for him at the Village. Everyone is so caring and attentive. He loves that he can just press a button on the pendant around his neck and someone will come to help within a minute or two, but he also enjoys the privacy of his studio and the view out his window. They are happy to escort him to meals or outside for a view of the Sandias. I’m convinced that the regular healthy meals and care he is receiving will help him not just recover, but stay well for longer than he could have on his own. Justina, in particular, deserves a shout out for all her kindness and support. She has helped us organize so many things associated with this complicated transition! We recently moved my mother to the Village at Alameda from an independent living community about 2 months ago. We also previously have dealt with a rehab facility and nursing home. The staff and services at the Village at Alameda are better than any we have experienced elsewhere. They know my mother's name and her preferences. The care she receives is what I expect at this type of facility. We had to make a very quick move due to a change in my mother's health. The staff went out of their way to help us and make the move as smooth as possible. Any repairs needed on the apartment were fixed promptly. The community overall is what I hoped for in this transition.

After many establishments that she hated and we were not comfortable leaving her in, we found the Village of Alameda, and it has improved my grandmother's life significantly. This place was recommended by a Senior One senior care navigator. My dad was able to move in and is so happy there. The workers - cleaners, dining room help, care givers - are all nice, cheerful, and helpful. The first day he moved in they had happy hour with music. Dad is eating regularly. Enjoys meeting people. It’s not so big he’s a number but big enough there are plenty of people to meet. My siblings and I are always welcome there. We are relieved, pleased, and so happy he is in a clean, safe environment. I did not think it would work out so well and we would be so happy with the outcome!!

What a great community!!! I loved touring this place. The ED she was amazing. She made feel at home. The community had so much wonderful activities going on. The Director of Nursing is the best. She knew her stuff and was so compassionate. I met the sweetest assistant to the nurse. She made me feel very comfortable with answering all of my question. They had a sales director that was on point with every question I had. I cant say enough about this team. Compassion all the way around!!

I did hospice for this place at one point, and the staff members were the most unhelpful and rude aides I ever had to work with. They knew these residents were difficult to care for and yet gave me attitude whenever I had to ask for help. I was sick with strep throat and couldn’t come in one day so none of the patients I was supposed to see got showers, despite me calling to say I wouldn’t be coming. It’s great if your family member is independent but if they need any kind of help at all

After our 94 year old mom fell and injured herself at our home we made the decision that she needed more care than we could provide. We began to research assisted living options in the Albuquerque area and visited several places before deciding on the Village at Alameda. We really liked how welcoming and stylish the place was and Tammy helped us to navigate the right apartment choice and services our mom needed. Right ways staff helped us to feel welcome and at home. Mom gets great care in her own upscale apartment and loves the food and friendly atmosphere. It was the right choice for us.

The Village at Alameda is an excellent care facility located in a secluded area. I have visited here many times and every time I come I can tell that the facility is clean and well- kept. The staff seem to be dedicated and there is no question in my mind that they truly care about the residents. They have great activities program, one of which is Happy Hour every Friday afternoon, with great live music entertainment.

My family and I recently brought my father to live at The Village at Alameda after the death of our mother. The transition for him has been extremely positive. We were worried that he would not want to stay because he was used to living alone with my mom in a small ranching community. We were so amazed to see him flourish with all the help he receives along with the kindness and caring of all of the staff! He loves the meals the chef prepares and within a week after he moved in the entire staff knows his name and knows us when we walk in the door to visit. My father actually thanks us (his family) for finding The Village at Alameda. Great job staff!!!

I have really enjoyed the Village of Alameda and the staff. Kim was very helpful and helped me find a great little studio for my mom. My mom has been at the Village of Alameda for about a month now and she has really adjusted well. My mom has made new friends she really enjoys the activities that are offer. I really like that the staff listens to the residents and even makes special requests to make them feel at home. I look forward to getting to know the the community more at the Village of Alameda. I really feel that everyone is very friendly, welcoming, and willing to work with you and your family to make them feel comfortable. The community is very warm and inviting.

I had the pleasure of working with the staff and especially Monica while my loved one was living in this facility. He was always provided the best care possible the time he lived there. Any time I had a question or comment, I was always provided a response within hours. It is clean, has activities for residents to enjoy, the menus are carefully prepared to allow all residents the opportunity to enjoy meal time. There are skilled nurses, a visiting physician available and so much more! My loved one has passed, but given the opportunity I would gladly recommend this facility to family and friends! I’m not the kind of person who writes reviews. In fact, I’ve only ever written one. But I must write about the Village on Alameda. My mom’s move to assisted living followed a lengthy stay in rehabilitation after she fractured her ankle. In our reluctance, my husband and I scoured Albuquerque and Rio Rancho for a perfect fit. Of course, in the back of our minds lurked the uncertainty of what living centers are really like and how residents are really treated once you sign on. It's like a new pair of shoes. You just don’t know what you’ve got until you’ve worn them for a while. The Village is a light and airy facility with an open welcoming entry. It is incredibly clean, noticeably lacking any odor, up-to-date in its furnishings and very well-maintained. My mom’s one-bedroom apartment is quite pleasant with all the amenities to meet her wheelchair bound needs. Staff is always available and anxious to assist both residents and their families. I only ever knew the staff to be kind, patient, considerate, gentle, and loving. Of much greater importance, my mom, who was mentally sharp until the end, found all these same things to be true. The facility is secure; I never once worried about my mom’ safety, either from within or without. A personal alarm is provided so that she can call for staff in an emergency. An activity schedule runs essentially non-stop through the day. Frequently my mom was utterly worn out by days end but refused to rest less she miss out on any of the social interaction and fun with the other residents and staff. The Village hosts Thanksgiving and Christmas dinners, events to which family are invited. The festive, warm, and welcoming atmosphere is quite apparent. And meal times are always a welcome time for family to come and share time with residents. My mom’s initial intent was to reside at The Village until she recovered her strength and could return to her home. But approximately six months into her stay she expressed how much she loved the people and the day-long activities and how much she would miss all of it if she left. So, she decided to stay. My husband, mom, and I recommend, without ANY reservation, The Village on Alameda. The people and facility are second to none!

My family was fortunate enough to get my dad a studio apartment here at the Village. From or first encounter with Doral Lei to our departure we knew we had found the right place. Everyone we encountered from the attendants to the nursing staff was polite, professional, and most importantly they displayed a caring attitude and definitely looked after the needs of Dad. Rhonda was amazing in how much time and attention she gave to my dad. The dining room staff provided excellent meals and tried to accommodate the desires of my dad. The nursing staff and med techs worked without error and even brought to our attention an errand medication order from a hospice nurse before it could be administered. For this attention to detail I am grateful. When my dad passed, the staff of the Village was respectful and kind and made us feel like dad was loved by them. The facility manager Monica was quick to respond to our questions and concerns. I feel confident in recommending the Village at Alameda based on our experience there. I would choose them again in a red hot minute!
