My sister, who turned 71 last Autumn moved to Ravenna Assisted Living three years ago, after 45 years in Los Angeles, so that she could be closer to her family. She had lived for 6 years in a number of ALF's in California, as a result of brain cancer which she recovered from in 2001, but became increasingly in need of assistance, as the years went by. She chose Ravenna, and told us that Ravenna was the best and happiest place she had ever lived. The staff has always been so very kind to her, even though, being an extreme introvert, and very direct, it could often be hard to know what she wanted or needed. We were particularly impressed and grateful for the attention to keeping all residents safe from COVID and feeling as un-isolated as possible during the last couple of years. Thank you to all the people at Ravenna. We are so grateful for your help and kindness.

We have a family member here at Ravenna. We can not say enough about the care that they give her. They are outstanding!!! We have had some experiences with other places in Albuquerque and the treatment and care was horrible. Ravenna is such a blessing and we feel that they should go to every assisted living in town and teach them how to treat our senior citizens with their caliber of care. We had to travel out of state for an extended period of time and the family visits were reduced dramatically and still had NO Fear of how our family member was being treated and cared for. They are WONDERFUL to work with and give over and above every day in their care. I would only hope that we all could find such a place when we need it for ourselves.

My uncle has been a resident at Ravenna for a year and hes been treated with respect, patience, and a genuine concern for his overall quality of life.The staff, Jessica as an example, are professional, friendly, and flexible in responding to my uncles needs and requests. Recently, he wanted his food to be served piping hot and the staff made it happen without delay.Ive been satisfied with Ravenna.

Moving my father into assisted living was stressful for all of us, but especially him. The entire team at Ravenna; owners, administrators and caregivers were wonderful from minute one. And the facility is beautiful; clean, open and lovely with daily fun activities. My father could be difficult, but the team handled him with great patience and caring. Our family lives out of state, so having the team at Ravenna taking care of our father was a great relief. Ravenna is a blessing to its residents and their families.

My Uncle was at Ravenna for 6 weeks and was very Happy with his care. The staff were wonderful and food was good. He and my aunt felt like they were treated as family and he had the best possible care. Our experience withthis was that the facility provided great personal and professional care for my Uncle. I am glad that Ravenna was recommended to us and would recommend it to others looking for an excellent assisted living facility. Thanks for all the kind professional care you provided to us.

I love that I moved my mom in here, she has been in a home for 11 years, the first 7 were at a different home and boy can you tell the difference when people run a home with compassion and empathy. I didnt know any different at the other home, but here the staff is very caring and professional. I go everyday to visit my mother, and see a lot of what goes on, my husband and I have grown close to many of the residents and most of the staff. I think its easier to see how wonderful it is, when you have had other experiences. Any questions or concerns have always been addressed in a professional manner. I would recommend this place highly!

My aunt has been a resident @Ravenna for over 4 years. The care she has gotten has been great! The staff are like family to her, calling hergramma and they treat her like their own.The owners have been wonderful!They keep the place immaculate.I have searched other facilities in Albuq and nothing compares to Ravenna.The activities are great! They have good food, which is balanced and healthy.

Mom has been at Ravenna for a year and a half. It has become home for her. She is taken care of by competent, caring, and loving staff. Any issues we bring to managements attention are addressed and rectified quickly -- or we are informed as to why things may, cannot not be as expected. I feel confident that she is safe and listened to by both staff and management. We are able to continue working and, or fulfilling our other family responsibilities knowing she is safe and well taken care of.

I moved my mom into Ravenna in May of 2016. It was such a hard decision to place her in assisted living and yet because of the caring staff and support of the owners, it was the best decision for her. The facility is beautiful, well cared for and clean. My mom enjoys the food, the activities and Is so well taken care of by the staff, nurses that I never worry about her. They communicate with me about everything so I never feel disconnected from her care. I can see and feel the love, care my mom receives when I visit her. Ravenna has been a true blessing and I am so grateful my mom can call it home.

My parents have been living at Ravenna for close to 3 years now. I wouldnt want them anywhere else!When it was decided that they would be moving into Assisted Living I was terrified. I didnt know many places in Albuquerque..and the ones I knew of, I was uncomfortable with. They moved into 1 that was nice, but someone gained access to the building and stole from my parents. We needed to find another place.When I first saw Ravenna I loved the fact it was a smaller place. The place was clean and everyone was very nice. Every time I went there I was greeted by name and sometimes a hug. It has a personal family feeling.My mom recently passed and the support I received from this place was phenomenal. It was as if Ravenna lost a family member as well.I have developed a bond with many of the caregivers as time has progressed. They are like family to me. I dont know what I would do without this place. It was a Godsend for me. I highly recommend this place for anyone searching for a secure and friendly environment for their family member.

Good place for my aunt. Shes diabetic and immobile. The staff do a great job checking her blood levels, dosing her medication and reminding her to take her insulin. There is a Dr on staff that comes by which is very helpful. They know her limitations and are considerate of my schedule (I work full time). The food is ok and the facility is neat and clean. The staff are excellent and owners really care. I like the fact that the staff have all been there for a long time and there is little turnover in caregivers. Like any place, there have been a couple of incidents but overall, its a good solid choice for your loved one. Its small and does not feel like an institution. It feels like home.

I placed my brother and his wife at Ravenna over two years ago. The staff has been amazing and my family is very happy. This past May, my sister-in-law passed away and the staff took care of everything. My brother was moved into a single room and they have been so compassionate toward his loss. Before she died, Sharon took part in activities and was very social. Everyone loved her and Ravenna held a small Celebration of Life to let everyone talk and grieve. To me, that is what good and compassionate care is all about. Thank you, Ravenna staff, especially Morgan and Caren for all your kindness. Being in California, I know my brother will continue to receive good care and I dont have to worry about him.
