Making the decision to move your loved one to an assisted living facility is one of the toughest experiences you will go through in your lifetime. You know in your heart that assisted living is best for your loved one, but there are so many levels of consideration. In the sea of considerations lies the ‘where. My Mom moved into Brightview Warren in 2016 when they first opened. From the moment my Mom and I stepped in, I knew this would be home for her. We were greeted like family. The establishment is much like an upscale hotel rather than an assisted living home. They have a recreation area, pool table, bar, fireplace and an outdoor lounge. The physical parts of Brighview are just the beginning. The staff is what makes this place. My mom truly felt that she was one with the staff, feeling like she worked at Brighview too. Every member of Brightviews team went above and beyond for my mom. Toward the end of my moms time on this earth, it was very clear to me that the Brightview staff were passionate about people and really gave a thousand percent to their residents. Ursula Gibson, Brightviews health services director, was in continuous contact with me during my moms final days. Every minute Ursula ensured that my mom was comfortable, safe, and had everything she needed. When my mom passed away in early October, Gayla Zieser, Brightviews director of vibrant living, walked me into see my mom one final time. Ursula and Gayla represent just two of Brightviews amazing staff of passionate caregivers. Your loved one will be safe and well cared for in Brighview Warren. My aunt spent her last years at Brightview Warren in the memory care unit, Wellspring Village. It was a wonderful experience for her. The staff is friendly and supportive and really became like family. The activities are engaging and varied so everyone can participate. There was often entertainment by singers, dancers, and musicians that really offered comfort. We especially loved the visits from the pets. It was certainly helpful to me to know that my aunt was safe and well taken care of when I was not able to be there.

My mother has been there at Brightview for 18 months and loves it there. My mother had been living on her own but fell one week, and then the next week caught a virus, that put her in the hospital for a week. Afterwards she needed to go to rehab and it was obvious she could not go back to her old apartment. So we started to look at assisted living options. Mom did not want to go, as she wanted to return home. We told her to come and stay for 2 months and if you still wanted to go home we would talk. Once she got to Brightview she loved it. I looked at 22 different assisted living properties and choose Brightview based on the positive and friendly atmosphere. The Brightview property is fairly new and the facilities are very well kept and maintained. There is never the nasty smell and not any signs of neglect; neither of the property nor the people. The management staff there is very attentive, accommodating, and extremely caring of their residents. While the place is very nice I think it is the staff that makes it special. It seems like the dining room staff knows all the residents by name and they are not just customers but friends. The med techs, nurses, and aids all treat Mom with respect and caring. She is able to get her hair done and a manicure every week on premise that she loves. They have Happy Hour every day and that promotes a feeling of belonging. They have regular events like, bingo, movies, card games, trips, and some very nice ,special events family and friends. They have an open policy for meals in that you do not have set hours for the dining room and not assigned seating. This helps promote social interactions with different people. In my many visits there is never the feeling of just warehousing old people. Choosing Brightview has worked out extremely well for my mother. My mom is a very social person that loves to talk and she made many new friends at Brightview. She turned 100 years old and had the best birthday ever at Brightview. She frequently tells me how much she loves it there and that it is her home. I think she is well cared for and strongly recommend Brightview Warren.

My wife Linda and I have been very pleased with Brightview in Warren. My older brother and his wife were admitted together in May of 2017 to Wellspring Village, the dementia unit of Brightview, as they both suffered from Alzheimers. They received exceptional care from its highly professional staff. Unfortunately my brother died in August of 2018 from his advanced Alzheimers, but his wife continues under Brightviews care. The staff at Brightview are very welcoming, highly trained and experienced. They respond quickly to any inquiry. We visit frequently, and have great comfort in knowing that my sister-in-law will continue to receive close attention and the best of care. We are kept advised of any developments, and review her monthly treatment plans. The staff keeps an eye on my sister-in-law, as they did with my brother. They are always cheerful, ready to assist in any respect, and do everything possible to keep my sister-in-law comfortable, engaged to the extent possible in physical and social activities, and included in trips outside Brightview. In our opinion, Brightview and, in particular, Wellspring Village deserve an A+ rating. We would be pleased to discuss our experience with anyone searching for the best facility for their family members who suffer from Alzheimers or other forms of dementia. William H. My mom has lived there since the beginning and I can honestly say it was the best decision we have ever made. She started in an independent apartment and she love it. When we all started to see her memory fail they suggested we move her into their Wellspring Village, right down the hall on the first floor of the same complex. The whole staff was a tremendous help in facilitating this difficult transition, they where there all the time to make sure she was happy. The place is always spotless, the food is fantastic and she always has something to do. I think the most important think about Brightview and it's staff is they treat all residents with love and respect. They are all very special and really care about our family members and their happiness. I get text all the time with pictures of what she is doing. My only complaint is that there are not enough stars to show how much I appreciate all they do for my mom. There should be 10

It's difficult to leave reviews for places like this without living here. From the couple visits I've experienced here, I rate this independent living complex very highly. This directly effects the cost but you get what you pay for here. Food was absolutely delicious, residents well dressed, and happy hour is certainly happy. I caught a preformance of singer/saxophonist who had as good a voice as any other well known singer. I probably won't get a chance to stay in a place this nice but at least I will have the memory of visiting my aunt here.

I want to take this opportunity to write a review of Brightview Warren. I needed to find a assisted living facility for my 95 year old Mom after she had taken a fall in her home. Brightview Warren was under construction at the time, and after reviewing their information and meeting with Ally Garcia, my Mom chose that as her next home. in spite of my having to communicate long distance via email and phone, coupled with multiple trips to NJ to ready my Mom's home for sale, the whole process was facilitated every step of the way by the Brightview staff. Most of my dealings were with Ally Garcia, and she was a hero in my book. She returned every phone call and email immediately, and in spite of delays to opening that were out of Brightview's control, everyone made the process as stress-free as possible. Once my Mom was moved in on October 14th, she has absolutely thrived at Brightview. She has made friends, enjoyed all the many social and creative activities, taken most of her meals with her new friends in the dining room, and has blossomed. The staff at Brightview is amazing and I have spent 2 visits of several days there, one at move-in and one at Christmas. Any information or help I needed was readily available. I cannot say enough about how caring the atmosphere is and how every department performs their jobs with positivity and compassion. This was the best move possible for my Mom and I sincerely thank everyone at Brightview for making her feel so welcome. It takes a special kind of individual to staff an assisted living facility and to treat the residents with dignity and respect. My dad has been a resident of BV Warren ,NJ, since October 2016. It is a fantastic place for senior living. The building and grounds are beautiful and well kept. We have been pleasantly surprised by the quality and selection of the dining choices. (Thank you Kevin) Everyday is another adventure, with activities for every desire. The Activities Director Angela is fantastic and so warm and welcoming to residents and guests. Having a nursing staff on site to oversee medicine dispensing, physician visits, and physical therapy is a blessing. The entire staff at Warren from The Executive Director, Susan , to Ally Garcia, our first contact at BV, through the incredible team of Kim and Nancy at the front desk, Ursula in Nursing and my dad's favorite medical assistant Will, everyone goes out of their way to make living at BV Warren pleasant and comforting. It's hard to make the decision to move a parent into senior living. But I think we found the best alternative for my dad. He loves all the musical performances and the Monthly Men's Luncheon. I am comforted to know that he can get help anytime he needs it while still enjoying his independence. And for him, it's like living on a cruise ship everyday, while still getting to have the comfort of his own home.
