My family has always felt very confident my aunt is safe, well cared for and content at Baker Place. The staff, Nurse in charge, the administrator, activity director and maintenance have shown care and patience. Every concern we have is addressed immediately. Baker Place is very home like and we are happy with our decision to have my aunt live there

My Mother~in~Law is a resident here and we are very happy with the care she receives. The employees are very kind and compassionate and the facility itself is very clean. The Director and the Director of Nursing have been on property and engaging with residents and staff each time we've visited and are also very good about retuning phone calls. The layout is very open and welcoming. There are several activities for the residents as well as scheduled activities and meals that the families are invited to attend. We had my Mother~in~ Law in a different facility and she has definitely improved and is much happier here. I would highly recommend Baker Place for anyone considering an Assisted Living Facility for either themselves a loved one as a great choice!

I’ve visited Baker Place several times with my church group. Maybe a few times a year, i was there about a week ago visiting a member of my church and noticed a change. Staff and residents interacting and much more homey and lively. Very nice to see

We are very happy with the care and company our Mom receives here at Baker Place. The staff is like family to everyone. We are always welcome when we visit. Mom has settled in very nicely and calls this her home, she loves all the sunshine that shines so brightly into her apartment. She talks about that everyday.

Baker Place is one of the nicest assisted living facilities in the area. My grandmother has been to Genesis, Bishop McCarthy and now Baker Place. Compare to the other two, Baker Place is a resort. The design is very open and light and airy. As you enter, you have to ring the bell and one of the friendly staff members will buzz you in. The desk is located on the left and then the open dining hall and common room are in the main lobby. There is plenty of seating and it has a very open atrium-like feel with bright colors (hues of yellow) and other soft tones. There are bulletin boards with events and pictures honoring veterans. The hallways are wide and there is a beautiful courtyard in the middle. The tenants each have their own rooms equipped with a mini-kitchen, bathroom and ac units. The staff is there 24/7 and the tenants can ring for help with either their device on their wrist or the string on the wall. The meals take place in the common area and the food ranges from sandwiches to hot chicken and vegetables. We went most recently for the Mother's Day Afternoon Tea and the team did such a fantastic job. The theme was Afternoon in Paris and the staff was decorated in berets, serving tea and set up all the fancy decorations with donated porcelain tea cups. It was such an inclusive event and we were told there is a Thanksgiving dinner and Italian dinner that are also very well-received and attended. Joe is the director and he has a personable style and knows everyone. There is always a nurse on site and this is really one of the nicest assisted living homes in Vineland. There is a list to get in and I can see why. Genesis and Bishop McCarthy were both horrible and I would send your loved ones here any day.
