We recently moved a family member into the Memory Care wing at Brighton Gardens Saddle River and could not be happier with the care she has received. The staff have been so welcoming and attentive not only to her but to us family members as well. We are constantly updated about her progress and needs and feel confident that she is living in a safe, caring community. Thank you all for looking after her and for keeping us so well informed. We highly recommend Brighton Gardens to anyone in need of topnotch care.

I really appreciate the quality care and attention given to my mother. I’ve worked in facilities in the past and know what to look for. My mother Never smells, Never looks disheveled and Never shows signs of distress or discomfort when I visit. All the staff treat the residents with dignity and respect. Thank you and the staff for taking such great care of my mom.

Our mother has been treated with care and dignity. She was well cared for first in Assisted Living and now in her transition to the memory unit. Doing FaceTime with her helps a lot . Lennie has kept us updated regarding our mother’s transition to the memory unit.

The Brighton Gardens administrative team and staff treat older adults with care and dignity, a novel approach in adult care. From the minute you walk in the door Janet greats you like your neighbor and Victoria, Rose and Lennie work to ensure an extended family approach in the BG community. The wellness staff is attentive and communicative. In a most challenging time for my family Brighton Gardens has eased our concerns so that my moms needs are met with a sincere care. Thank you

The friendliness and enthusiasm of staff and residents made this a stand-out visit. The lovely grounds offer possibilities difficult to replicate in this day and age. Perfect place to renew, restore and retire in our "golden" years.

When my father needed more care than he could receive at home, I was overwhelmed. As the only surviving family member, I felt anxious and alone. I brought him to tour Brighton Gardens and cried as I ate my complimentary lunch. It was a sunny Autumn day, but darkness closed in on me as my dad insisted that he remain at home; “There are too many old people here” he reasoned (without irony). However, the experience, patience, support and understanding we received from the staff convinced me that this move was best for him. Dad has been there for three and a half years now, and I have never second guessed my decision. The staff has been there for both of us through the different stages of my father's illness providing a safe, familiar and stimulating home environment. With their dedication, guidance and advice, I no longer am in this by myself. We have a big family of compassionate loving people.

I transferred my 85 year old husband from another facility as after he was told there was no value in him receiving any more physical therapy as his once brilliant mind and body were deteriorating rapidly. As an adult nurse practitioner, I had experience with the specific needs of patients of varying ages. After evaluating several options for my husband, regretably he was unable to return home, he was transferred to Brighton Gardens in Saddle River where he had a private room in the memory section. My husband received good care and kindness from the aides and circulating nurse who at one point recognized that he had pneumonia and had him transferred to the hospital for 2 days for antibiotics in IV fluids after which he returned to Brighten Gardens. He died peacefully there. I am grateful for the medical and personal attention he received.

I was totally overwhelmed when looking for an assisted living facility for my parents two years ago. Victoria, at Brighton Gardens, helped every step along the way and made their move possible. She did everything from helping me with paperwork and evaluations to greeting my parents at 3:00 am when they arrived from OK after experiencing flight delays. My parents have and are receiving excellent care; it is obvious that the staff sees each resident as an individual and treats each of them with respect. The nursing staff is very responsive; they alway answer my questions and keep a close eye on the residents, noticing if someone isn't feeling well. The director is very caring and interacts well with the residents. I have peace of mind now that my parent live at Brighton Gardens. They are in good hands!

After researching nursing homes we were pleasantly surprised to find this place! We thought Assisted Living would be more eexpensive but it was half the price with much better accommodations & care. The staff was very attentive & truly cared about it mom. I highly recommend this place!

My Mom lives here and loves it. She’s adjusting very well and always doing crafts and giving me ceramics. I’ve watched her interacting with everyone, when she doesn’t know I’m there, and she’s always dancing and clapping and singing along. The staff has been very nice and I think they’re terrific. They all know her by name and the facility is kept very clean. The food is good, there’s a nice selection, and you can pick whatever you want. They already know what choices she’ll get in the morning and are good about anticipating her needs. They have a few activities like Zumba, yoga, and lower body exercises. They also have an outsourced physical therapy group that’s there and she can use them to work on her legs if needbe. They’re very on top of things and working together as a group. Anytime she has a problem, they’ll call me immediately for my own opinion on how to help her. They even call me before doing anything that might cause an additional charge. This really is the perfect place for her; she’s getting the attention she wants and needs. I would absolutely recommend them to others.
