After just a month of my father being there staff has continuously ignored concerns and issues with my father regarding his inability to articulate his issues due to his dementia and have completely ignored concerns of things like he lost his glasses which were on the table next to his computer keyboard which any human could have seen from a casual look in his room to his TV not working which no one looked into for 3 days. I don't have any idea of what idea of what expectations i should have for someone with his difunctional cognition, but I don't think it's unfair to expect assisted living care to NOT do something like change his hearing aid filters with simple plug and replace plastic that a man with shaky hands due to Parkinson tendency's because of his dementia should require me personally going to visit him just to perform this for him. I just had a receptionist allow me to enter the building when I told her I was sick with a cold go in unchecked in and deliver some items. She was very friendly and helpful but her unwillingness to call someone to deliver the items and have me wander around sick was concerning as well as the lack of notes and records of me calling 3x that day for a separate issue my father had called me about were unacceptable. [name removed] or [name removed] I still don't know her actual name because everyone tells me something different i was even told [name removed] as one point was also upsetting because I'm trying to contact the person in charge to see if issues can be addressed or not part of expected duties and she is very defensive toxic and hostile to questions so no reasonable conversations can be conducted.

I cannot say enough good things about Brightview Paramus, particularly Mary D. and all of the staff. They have created a welcoming, safe and comfortable environment for their residents and their families. Both of my parents were hesitant to move to Brightview Paramus -- they didn't want to leave their home and felt like they were giving up their independence. The Brightview Paramus staff made the transition simple and comfortable. My folks wish they have moved to Brightview Paramus years ago! Our entire family strongly recommends Brightview Paramus for any senior (and their family) that is looking for a safe and enjoyable place to live. No reservations about this recommendation!

Words cannot express how wonderful each and every person at Brightview interacts and treats our parents. It was a difficult for our parents' to leave their home of over 68 years and move into Brightview Independent Living. Since they have been there (about 6 months) they have adjusted and thrived. It seems that everywhere you go in Brightview someone is there with a smile and an outstretched hand, asking how they can help. My parents have both experienced health issues over the past few months and the administration and staff have been extremely supportive in helping us to maneuver the necessary steps to assure that all of their needs are met. Their response time in returning calls and emails is immediate and they always treat us and our parents with respect, dignity and compassion. We simply cannot say enough about Brightview and all of the wonderful people who work there. From the front office, to the switchboard operators, maintenance department, dining room, food service, transportation, vibrant living staff and hospitality service....ALL ARE TOP NOTCH. Our parents and our family are so very happy that they chose to live at Brightview.

I spent a great deal of time researching and visiting senior living facilites, with and without my parents. We felt that Brightview was the clearly the best and it certainly has lived up to our expectations! I can honestly say that the entire staff at Brightview truly cares about the residents. They are helpful and accommodating to all of my mom and dad's needs. The facility is very well maintained and the food is great. They let the voices of the residents be heard in their variety of activities, trips and meal planning. My parents are so happy to be living at Brightview and so is my family!

My husband has been at Brightview Assisted Living for nearly 8 months. The care here is absolutely wonderful. We truly feel that the staff members here care for us like family. From the front desk staff ,van driver ,all of the aides, housekeeper,nurses ,salon staff...I don't want to leave anyone out. The building and facilities are spotlessly clean and beautiful. So many activities to choose from . It has been difficult not having him at home but this surely feels like our second home. I rest easy knowing he is with the caring and professional staff at Brightview Paramus .

I can't imagine a better facility for my mother. I was scared the transition was going to be tough for her, however, she was smiling the second she got there. The Wellspring Village Memory Care staff is amazing. They are so good with her. They have tons of respect and patience. Sherrine is always giving me updates. I always feel like my mom is in good hands. I can't ask for anything more. Thank you for making our lives better!!!!!!

Woodcliffe Lake has very friendly and helpful staff. Nurses always have a smile and will get back to you promptly if they are busy. My great uncle is getting therapy for a broken hip & therapy staff went above and beyond to answer my questions , even when I made a mistake regarding what care he was getting. He needs a lot of help due to dementia, and they were great to accommodate us. Brendan was very thorough and understanding with his plan of care ... Thank you for taking care of my dear family !!!!

Have not moved in yet but so far, the staff has been very welcoming and has been very attentive to our concerns and needs. Building and grounds seem immaculate, as does the levels of care offered to accommodate my mother and her health concerns.

My family and I had Thanksgiving dinner there with my Dad, who is a resident there. It was wonderful and beautiful as usual. They did a great job! We especially appreciate Paul, who served us, and all the cooks, and the people who keep the place clean and nice! My Dad loves living at Brightview!

This was the second tour of Brightview Paramus that I took with my mom. Both times we were completely impressed by the warmth, professionalism and knowledge of all the staff that we met. Jon Bock was the person who did our tours for us and spent a lot of time with us and even make sure we ate a meal there to try the food. He was very helpful & genuine. They seem very familiar with all of the residents and very involved in their activities and lives. Very good impression both times. I think this would be a wonderful place for my mom to live.
