Beautiful facility but you have to watch things there like a hawk. The dementia unit is laughable. My family member has been served food that she is highly allergic to and we found medication in a cup sitting inside a cabinet in her room. Furthermore, I find it misleading that there are 5 star reviews of this place that are from staff members.

I've been visiting and working with their team for almost 3 years and am always so impressed with my interactions with everyone - especially with those who go above and beyond for their residents: Judy, Kathy, Flora, Punam, Amanda, Jessica, and Wanda! Kathy even offers an excellent Certified Dementia Practitioners course, offering education and training to the outside community so we all know how to be the best partner and caregiver to her residents and those in other Demetia care communities. Absolutely love this community for any assisted living need!

My mother was a resident at Arbor Terrace of Mt. Laurel from May, 2021 to January of 2024. She was initially in the Assisted Living wing and loved her new apartment, the staff and the residents. She felt welcome immediately. Even the maintenance staff helped tremendously whenever she had to have a repair or a new piece of adaptive equipment installed. A year later, it became obvious that she was struggling with everyday tasks and would benefit more by moving to the Bridges wing. That was when she really needed to feel like she belonged in her new environment, and the residents, the staff and the nurses became vital to her daily care and overall comfort. Mom always said, "The people who work here are not just employees, the are also my friends," and she really meant it. Her last few months were difficult for her and after Thanksgiving she was put on Hospice care. I can't thank the aides and the nursing staff (with Flora as head nurse) who helped her, including Andy Rosario, Faustina Amuch, Rosa Dejesus and Daphe Georges. In addition to their kind and generous attention, I also want to mention Karen Johnson, who got Mom involved in games and crafts and checked in on my mother daily, Amanda, who gave her love and attention and made sure she was included in all of the activities she could participate in, and Judy the receptionist (and all-around problem fixer), and the nursing staff who were exceptionally caring and listened to all of my worries and concerns. And, though it is never easy to lose a parent, having a supportive administration who made sure my mother was being looked after and made comfortable and who welcomed me to stay in her room as she transitioned, making sure I had whatever I needed to remain by her side until she passed, made all the difference in the world. Above all, I'd like to mention Punam Patel, the administrator, who listened to all of my concerns and went above and beyond to be there for my mother and my family. Thank you hardly seems adequate and we will always be appreciative that our mother got to spend her final years where she was loved and respected and truly made to feel at home. Jessica J. is an incredibly energetic and creative staff from Arbor Terrace, who visits our Active Day Adult Daycare Center monthly to engage our members with creative activities which they all truly enjoy very much. Jessica is warm, caring and so very patient with our members, they can't get enough of her . I can't say enough wonderful things about Arbor Terrace Mt. Laurel. I am a professional partner and have been visiting this building for 2 years now. I've been in the healthcare industry for 20 years and I have to say this assisted living is top-notch! Starting with Judy at the front desk, Amanda and Jessica-sales directors, Punam-executive director, Flora-resident care director and Kathy-memory care director…… they are all wonderful to work with but more importantly wonderful with their residents. I often visit, unannounced and I'm amazed by everything they are doing for their residents! During a recent visit I observed Punam and Kathy spending so much time with a resident. When she walked away and looked at me she said, "I love living here." That speaks for itself! So if you're looking at assisted living communities, I highly recommend you start here !!

We had our fingers crossed that there would be availability for my 94 yr old mother in law. A medium size studio unit became available--I felt immediate relief. She was already in an assisted living setting but she was isolated, there was lack of 'community'/engagement. She may have lost walking ability but her mind is still doing NYTimes crossword puzzles! And she likes to engage in talk. What a relief to go to Arbor Terrace. It is an active and engaging 'home' for her. She is still warming up to activities--staff makes it easy for her to get to activities by pushing her in her wheelchair if she wants. Oh, she feels relief too and acknowledges that she is living in a safer environment where staff is readily available to help her if needed.

My sister and I looked at several places in the area for our dad before settling on Arbor Terrace. When we first went to visit we were drawn to the bright beautiful rooms and overall cleanliness, but looks can be deceiving. That wasn't the case here, for as nice as the building and surroundings were, the staff was even more welcoming. We had the same struggles as most families as our dad resisted moving into an assisted living facility. We were able to convince him to move in on a 'trial' basis. From day one our dad was welcomed by everyone, residents and staff alike, making the transition from his home very smooth. There are many reasons people move into a facility like Arbor Terrace and many factors that go into choosing the right one. While you hope you make the right decision for your family member you don't immediately know if it was the right decision. I am happy to say this was the right one for us. Not only did he make friends with people who lived there, but he made friends with the people that work there as well. I can't say enough about the Arbor team. They made a point to learn so much about my dad, his likes and dislikes, his work and family. Not only did they know my dad, but they knew me and my sisters families as well. My dad would constantly tell me how friendly everyone was, he even got to the point where he actually told me it felt like home. Our dad lived at Arbor for about a year before his passing. The care and support that was provided to him and our entire family during his quick decline was tremendous. We cannot say enough about everyone there. They really do treat the residents like they are family. We would recommend Arbor Terrace to anyone looking for a beautiful and caring place for their loved ones.

Our mom was quite content with her life style, so making a change to assisted living after 93 years was going to be a major challenge. Changes are not easy. After visiting several facilities, Arbor Terrace stood out as the best. It was the choice of our mom of and of her families as well. Agreeing on a facility was a major concern for all of us. Now, after 2 years living at Arbor Terrace, our mom remains a happy, and comfortable resident. The building is modern and has a beautiful interior that makes the environment so vibrant for the residents. But most importantly is the the staff. They are caring, respectful and personal to each resident. The building is clean, the food is good and the activities are abundant and creative. The Director, Punum Patel, is approachable, always available, and responsive. Being professional and knowledgeable, Punum knows how to properly manage this type facility. My family & I will be forever indebted to the staff at Arbor Terrace, Mt Laurel for their love, support, and undivided attention to my mother. My experience was not a brief one, as our relationship lasted over 3 years with the same consistency and support. From the beginning, my sister and I investigated several locations in the area. Like most families, finding the most caring community with qualified nursing, cleanliness and attentive staff was our top priority. Our expectations were high and they were fully met. Staffing is consistent, speaking volumes to their incredible leadership (Punam) and the loving atmosphere they have cultivated at Arbor Terrace. We vividly felt part of the Arbor family and were always greeted personally by Mary Ann & Judy. Unfortunately, after the holidays, my mother was hospitalized; her health deteriorated rapidly and required hospice support. Without question, Punam said, "Bring her home. Bring your mother back to Arbor where she will be comfortable and surrounded by her friends. We will take care of hospice support for you. Mom should be home." My sister and I were speechless and relieved at once. Within hours, the Arbor team orchestrated the unthinkable and had hospice in place for her final days. While Punam, Chandra, and Kathy are outstanding leaders, we must also recognize & praise other outstanding team members including: Neisha, Shakeria, Joe, Jamie, Mary Ann, Judy, Yvonne, Melvenus, Kristen, Nick as well as numerous others who were incredibly supportive and attentive to mom during this extremely difficult time. To all of you of you at Arbor Terrace Mount Laurel, we are grateful for all of you and can't thank you enough for everything you have done for our mother and our family.

During a recent and sudden change in my father's health, we as a family went to Arbor Terrace, Mt., Laurel for accommodations. From day one the staff has been very friendly, and knowledgeable and kept my family informed as to the progress of our application. Each time I visit, the staff is always friendly and smiling. I have to mention director Punam and Judy at the front desk. It's very comforting, knowing that when I walk through the doors, you both know me by my first name, which is a very nice personal touch. Support staff is also very active as many of my visits, I witnessed residents engaging in social activities, such as games and exercising. As far as the facilities, the building is kept clean inside and out. Maintenance staff helped with moving in to my fathers room which was much appreciated. The rooms are spacious and bright with the latest amenities. Staff is timely in room cleaning and laundry services. Parking is never a problem. and the facility is conveniently located about a minute from Rt295. Overall, I rank the facility and staff with five stars. I would recommend Arbor Terrace Mount Laurel to anyone. Thank you for job well done.

My Mommom has been a resident at Arbor Terrace Mount Laurel for quiet a bit now. I work in health care and I have never seen such an amazing facility. Not only is it always clean, every single employee is welcoming as soon as you walk in the door. My Mommom recent had to move to a more secure wing and the attention of care has been amazing. They are patient with her and her disease progression. Every time I walk in the building every single staff member knows who she is or even where she is in the building. I am blown away by how amazing each marketing event and activity is. You can tell they put a lot of time and effort into it to make this place feel like home. I’d recommend Arbor Terrace to anyone who needs extra support for their loved one. You do not have to worry about your loved one when they are under Arbor Terraces care.

The community is very bright, love when I go to see my mom almost everyday. We recently moved my mom to Evergreen. Attention we received from front desk Judy, sales team was very helpful. It made our transition very smoothly. We appreciate ED being very hands on and being on top of things, and is able to answer questions. When I go in evening after work to see my mom I see Leah engagement coordinator and Punam in the dining room helping staff. Which I did not see when my mom was at another community. It makes me very comfortable that I can go home after long day at work that my mom is well taken care of!!

Arbor Terrace is a beautiful, new facility. My father has been living there for over a year. He moved in January, 2020 and then two months later, we experienced the lockdown. We chose the assisted living environment as there are different levels of support, it is in close proximity to my home and while the price is higher than some other living arrangements, it is well worth the cost. The meals are good, snacks daily included which my father likes as well as ice cream! There is a salon on site which is open depending on the status of virus regulations.All staff from the director, food service, maintenance and direct service have been very responsive to me as well as my father. Any questions are addressed in a timely manner. The activities have continued to be provided and residents are supported in attending while wearing masks and maintaining social distance. They provide cornavirus testing and just recently vaccines for the residents and essential care staff.They have worked with us so that contact can be maintained on a regular basis either through patio or window visits and, or virtual visits. For his birthday, they were able to do a family Zoom session which was wonderful!We have been blessed that my father has been well cared for these past several months.

My parents moved in August 2020 amid the pandemic. They had lived in another AL facility nearby and needed a change.From the moment I first talked to Amanda, she was caring, concerned, and extremely helpful. She listened to what my challenges were and slowly but surely, introduced me to how things could be different and more accommodating at Arbor Terrace.The very first thing that attracted me was the focus on Dementia. With two aging parents, one with vascular dementia and another in the midst of being evaluated, I was drawn to how Arbor Terrace could help both of them, keep them together, understand what theyre going through, and help me navigate my way through this very new (to me) and complicated disease.My parents are polar opposite, with my mom being extremely social and outgoing and dad very reserved. My mom needs the activities and social interaction. Every day, shes participating from dawn until dusk with everything hey have to offer. Although quarantine makes things a little different, the staff at Arbor Terrace do everything possible to make sure the residents are busy, cared for, and well fed!Having shopped around twice within a year, I can confidently say, Arbor Terrace is at the top of its game and wouldnt hesitate recommending to anyone searching for the next home for their loved ones.

I researched 55 plus communities, nursing facilities and dementia care facilities ~ and finally found this caring community! Not only is it aesthetically beautiful, but the people who work with my mother are exceptional! From the tasty meals my mother always raves about, to the nursing care, and the aides that work with my mother throughout her day! Everyone has been kind and supportive! My mothers apartment is modern and has many amenities unique to Arbor Terrace - a heated walk in shower, a kitchenette and laundry service .This place is a haven for my mother and my family ! I realize potential residents and their families can not physically visit because of the pandemic, but believe me when I tell you that there is no better option for your loved ones than Arbor Terrace Mount Laurel.Every time I talk to my dad, I can tell he is happy. He enjoys the activities, the walks outdoors, helping with the garden, the meals, the friends he has made, the interactions with staff, and his beautiful surroundings.The staff, from the executive director to the people doing laundry and maintenance, are awesome. Before the pandemic I had the opportunity to meet many of them and I was always impressed with their commitment to the residents and with the way they got along with each other.Ive had family in several facilities over the years, and I can knowledgeably say that there is no other place that can compare with Arbor Terrace Mount Laurel. Every day, I am so thankful that Dad is there. I am so grateful to the staff for the excellent care my dad receives. Knowing that my dad is safe, happy, well fed, in beautiful surroundings, enjoying life, and thriving is priceless. And yet, Arbor Terrace is very competitively priced.If you have a loved one who needs better care than can be provided at home, you will be doing your loved one a great service by considering the Arbor Terrace Mount Laurel community. With virtual family forums and activity emails you will be able to keep track of what is going on daily with your loved one. You will have no regrets and will have tremendous peace of mind - every day!

Arbor Terrace Mount Laurel has been fantastic in every way. My dad moved there in January. It is a difficult move from living in your own home to moving to a new environment of independent, assisted living. We looked at a lot of places and couldnt be happier with Arbor Terrace Mt Laurel. It is clean, welcoming, friendly and more like a home environment. They are extremely capable, competent and caring in every aspect and every level of care. Particularly with regard to Covid-19 Arbor Terrace Mt Laurel has been very professional, open and conscientious following or exceeding all the guidelines from the CDC keeping everyone safe and keeping families informed about the plans, actions and status.Most import of course is that my dad likes it there. He said that he will move out of the house to Independent, assisted living when he gets old. He is 96 now and finally he made the tough decision to move forward. I am delighted he is safe and loved there and most important that he is happy.I highly recommend Arbor Terrace Mt Laurel without reservation. We are thankful there is a facility of this caliber available to our dad.
