Understaffed. Not enough aides to care for the number of patients. Food is terrible. Minimal impersonal service is provided.

My daughter was placed in Cambridge on December 4th, 2021 after a seven week battle with Covid 19 at Lourdes/Virtua hospital. On December 14th, 2021, she signed herself out of Cambridge, opting to do in home rehab instead. Due to a shortage of staff, my daughter suffered the humiliation of having to lay in her own waste for long periods of time, and no staff available to feed her. This prompted her to call her husband for the help she needed. He had to come and change her pamper, feed her and help staff turn her in her bed. . .that is, when they did show up. Cambridge is a beautiful and clean place. It's just too bad it is spoiled by a staffing problem, at least on the Laurel Creek unit of Cambridge.

I am elated at the care and concern for my mom from the staff and leadership at Cambridge. She initially entered Cambridge on a rehabilitation stint after breaking two hips. Consequently she had been inactive for some time and Nora and the rest of the care team immediately undertook the process of wound care. The entire team contacted me immediately to introduce themselves and their care specialties and plan for my mother. Admissions was especially attentive to my nervous concerns at such a difficult time. I highly recommend, especially as I have peace of mind with their great rehab staff and facilities being on the site of the beautiful campus. Angela of the business team has been responsive to that sticky paperwork side of things and Darren is a concerned and effective director and gets gets great support from Aaron and others.

My friend was in this rehab post surgery, and while she was hesitant at first to go to a Rehab facility, she was pleasantly surprised at the professionalism of the Nursing and Rehab departments. She recovered quickly and just discharged home. Kudos to Cambridge Rehab for giving my friend her independence and Life back!!!

I have been working here since February. I enjoy my job. The staff is family oriented. Will help me if I need it. I am one on one most of the day with families and their loved ones. I have to say my days are NEVER boring, in a good way. I enjoy the spontaneous feel the day holds when I come in. I am glad I can be there to greet and answer any questions I am capable of. Darren took a chance on me and I hope I am not letting anyone down. Least of all my residents and family. Love Cambridge. Janet

I would recommend this Nursing Home for patients in need of memory care. The nurses and aides are so devoted and are amazing at caring for and managing patients with dementia. Liz is one of the greatest nurses I ever met. The activity department also does an Excellent job engaging the residents. I highly recommend!

I visited my mom on June 16th, 2021. Carol and Dax were the two aides on duty. They are wonderful with my mom and the other residents. Upon returning from outside, there was also an activity ready to go. Its comforting to know that people care about their work and the residents they serve.

My Aunt has lived at Cambridge for 5 years. The nurses and nurses aides in all areas are very caring, attentive and friendly. They treat her with respect. Administrative Staff keeps me well informed. They know the residents and are always willing to help. Activity Director is wonderful in keeping residents active throughout the day. The Assisted Living and Skilled Nursing areas are kept extremely clean. It is comforting to know my Aunt is well taken care of by all at Cambridge. And, most important, she says food is good and she is happy!

Our family was faced with a very difficult decision last year during the worst of the pandemic. We needed to find a safe place for our mother. We hit the jackpot with Cambridge! We virtually met Linda Menighan, their community relations director, who took us on our virtual tour and explained the facility and services to us. We could not have felt more comfortable with what we saw and heard. Linda has never stopped keeping us in the loop with frequent Check Ins. The move was an emotional one during quarantine, but the staff made it the best experience it could be without our being able to visit in person. The clinical staff is very attentive, especially Leah who has gone over and above with her caring nature. We are also extremely grateful for her Physical Therapist, Adam who literally held her hand and worked with her to improve her strength and self confidence. He has personally reached out to us in order to keep us informed and involved. Cambridge made a difficult time much easier for all of us!

Returning after being away for a year, I was aware of the changes that had occurred. Many were changes in the building and the outlay. But really were astounding were the people. There were smiles and overwhelming outlook that they were happy to be there and working for the facility. I was greeted warmly and was made to feel welcomed. Looking forward to working here again.

I am currently orientating as a registered nurse for Cambridge. So far, everyone has been very welcoming and friendly. The orientation has been orientation both informative and calm. I have great feeling for my continued employment here. They seem to really care about their residents, family members, and staff. I would recommend coming here for rehab, long term or assisted living for good experience.

My dad started in rehab here and is now in Assisted Living. I am very happy with Lutheran Crossings -- it's clean, has a nice layout including sitting areas, library, small theater, etc. The dining area consists of tables of four with tablecloths and looks much like a small restaurant. They have many activities available. I have found all of the staff extremely helpful. No matter my questions or if there's any problems, no matter who I dealt with has taken the time immediately to answer my question(s) or to solve any problems, all with very positive outcomes. I feel all of the staff genuinely care about the residents. All have "eyeballs" on the residents, as well. Many times I have come in to visit my dad and someone will say, "Oh, looking for your dad? He's at ... wherever." Most important thing, of course, is that my dad seems happy here.

My dad was in rehab here for a couple of months and is now in assisted living. The place is very nice: clean, nice layout (library, sitting areas, small theater, TV lounge area, courtyard, deck area out front to sit, etc.). They have a lot of activities (crafts, socials, men's group, bingo and other games, etc.) and also trips to local restaurants or a store. The dining area is tables of 4, tablecloths, and served as if in a restaurant. The staff is wonderful. Everyone I have had any interaction with has been extremely nice and helpful and they all genuinely seem to care about the residents. Any questions or problems I have had, they have responded to quickly and always in a positive manner. All of the staff have eyeballs on the residents. Often when I walk in, someone will say to me, "Oh, looking for your dad? He's at ...." My dad's apartment is very nice -- has a short wall dividing his bedroom area from the living area, has a microwave and small refrigerator, the color scheme is very nice. It's a very attractive room (studio). My dad seems happy here. I would recommend Lutheran Crossings.

Lutheran Crossings at Moorestown has been 90% positive, so it's been good. My parents are in the assisted living right now. It's not too clinical, and they have lots of activities. The staff is friendly. Their room is really good and big enough to get my parents' king bed in the bedroom, which is what they wanted. The room is perfect and one of the things that sold us on the place. My parents say the food is somewhat institutional but very adequate. My mom partakes in some of the exercise classes. They try to get my dad to get out and join but don't pressure him too much.

Beautiful facility - bright and sunny and the apartments were so lovely. I think for our situation, my family member would not appreciate all it had to offer so I will pass for something more simple.

I have been a patient at Lutheran Crossings twice. First time was in 2011 in 2012. I had spinal surgery was unable to walk. With the care of the nurses and aids and the rehab from Hope Rehab Department. I was able to go from a wheelchair to Walker to a cane. The second time when I was there was this year 2016. I had broken my ankle. While I was in there they had taken very good care of me from the nurses nurses aides and the rehab Department they all take very good care of you as if they were their own. I chose the Lutheran Crossings because I knew a friend that had been in there and from going in and seeing her and watching them take care of her I knew that's where I wanted to be when I needed to go. The kindness enthusiasm and their strength especially when I was down keep me uplifted so that I could get better. No matter what I needed they were there. Even in the middle of the night when I need someone to talk to they were there. They treat their patients like they're their own family. If I ever had to go to spend my life this is where I would want to go. Because I know Not only would I be well taken care of there is so much to do there I would never be alone. And if you need anything the main offices social workers and the chaplain are always there to talk to and help you with whatever you need I feel like I can't say enough about them. They are truly wonderful people
