The staff including KEN KEEGAN and MARGE RAMOS are untrustworthy. Let me be clear that I'm not mad they declined our application. I'm mad that they did not tell us anything for 3 weeks! Neither yes nor no. Despite my repeated requests for communication, they left us hanging. They wasted our precious time when we could have been looking for other places. Don’t trust anything they say. They have a terrible reputation in the area and you're better off going anywhere else.

My father in law has been a resident at the Villas for over two years. During the past two years the amazing staff have embraced him like one of their own which as you can imagine takes tremendous amount of anxiety off a family. For a resident who is going to be 96 you can only imagine the comfort that he feels from all of the attention that he is receiving. Over the past two years he had a number of health and wound issues nonrelated to the facility that have required a significant amount of attention by the nursing team. This has been addressed not only timely but by constant updates to the family on the status of his wound care and health status on a regular basis, sometimes daily, sometimes weekly. The wound program led by Joy has been amazing, attentive and proactive in facilitating wound healing. The wound program includes daily monitoring, treatment, weekly wound rounds with a Nurse Practitioner, and nutritional assessment with the Registered Dietician. What a relief for him not to have to leave the facility for any additional treatment. The entire Nursing Team including Laquasia, Joy, Sue, Becka, and others treat him like their own family member. The nursing team are continuously monitoring him and are accessible and responsive to any questions or concerns we as a family have. My father-in-law is not an overly social person however the activity team led by Kristin get him up and engaged and “smiling” which is by no means an easy feat. The Villas does an amazing job with their big events including a Luau last month complete with a “hula dancer” and this month Octoberfest for the residents and families which included arts and crafts, petting zoo and face painting which was enjoyed by all. My father in law is not the easiest however he goes into the dining room and the dining staff immediately meet his nutritional requests with constant attention. Overall, as a family we feel that we have made the right choice in choosing The Villas as a home for our family member and couldn’t be happier.

Thanks so much for the wonderful Fall Festival Family Day. My Mom and I along with 3 of my Mom’s great grandchildren had a wonderful time. We enjoyed the refreshments, face painting and especially the petting zoo animals. Inspite of the rainy weather, the family had a blast! I would also like to take the brief opportunity to let you know how grateful we all are to your wonderful, caring staff who provide excellent services for my Mom. Please let them know that we appreciate all they do for Mom. From the wonderful nurses, PT/OT, food service, aides and others including Ida for providing customized activities (very impressed with the alternative Bingo and special attention to creating an entertaining happy atmosphere), Mariah for her loving attention when Mom was in assisted living and her present care givers who work tirelessly to provide top notch care.

Truly a terrible experience. Be very cautious placing your loved one here. It may come in a pretty package, but the box is empty. There are many nice people who at times tried to do better, but a chain is only as strong as its weakest link. And there are several weak links. The Villas is consistently understaffed, and there is no accountability or oversight from corporate. In 18 months my mom had Covid 2x, several UTI’s and suffered from severe malnutrition and dehydration, which ultimately killed her. I was 100000% on top of everything and they still were unable to consistently provide the engagement, errorless healthcare, and nutritional support my mom needed to thrive and survive. Staff was willing to hear my concerns, and agreed to most ideas I suggested for improvement, but didn’t follow through on anything! They never initiated the conversation and without fail their only ideas cost $1-2,000 extra each month. Do not be tricked into their “1st floor-Independent living” scam. That’s their way of providing, at best, negligible support under the guise of “independence.” Truly independent people don’t need to reside in Assisted Living communities. Food is only served during limited hours and the quality and preparation of meals is inconsistent, and not well-balanced. The best sales pitch, the glitz and the promises are only to get you in. Trusting what you’re told at face value will inevitably come as a detriment to you and your loved one.

Went there today to view the facility for my Dad. Had an 11 am appointment. Left at 11:30 as they still could not locate Marge to show me around. If they have that much disrespect for a potential client how would they treat my father once he was there? Not going to find out

My deceased girlfriend's mother lives there. She is moving closer to East Windsor area , her old home town. Foods Great! Living quarters are cute n clean. But watch out for guests, they are all not careful n cautious as they should be. A guest ramed a wheelchair into the leg of my dearest friend & took a chunk of skin off her leg the front of her entire shin. Now setting her back into a serious medical issue. Wound doctor found it infected. And of course the Villa is making my girlfriend's mother pay for all this. Which things will change on that for sure!!!!!

The Villas was an amazing place for my grandfather. From day one we never had to worry if he was going to be safe. Staff treat the residents like family and go above and beyond. No where will be perfect for your loved one but The Villas is as close as you are going to get.

I can’t say enough good things about The Villas at Manalapan. But here are some. My mother has lived there two years. She just reached age 100 in July. I doubt she would have made it without the Assisted Living care she received there. The Villas is set back in a wooded area off a quiet road. It is a recently-built building, with both Independent and Assisted Living wings. Decor is modern, like a high-end hotel. Many community rooms for activities, and an outside patio with a grill for special events. The facility is associated with the Hackensack Meridian Health System. As such, it has offered excellent care when my mother had some medical issues. The care team is led by top-doctor gerontologist, Dr. Mark Pass, and he or a member of his staff visits weekly. My mother has found the food excellent, restaurant style. The nursing staff is caring and attentive, led by nurse Joy, whom my mom loves. We looked at many Assisted Living facilities for my mother, and this was clearly the best, at competitive prices.

Staff is under qualified. Some of them barely speak English and they are the only ones in the unit. Some of them don’t know that things are sugar-free or not. Not sure who allowed this. This place is beautiful as far as the building goes but as far as the personnel goes they cheaped out on the labor and then they claim it’s hard to find people. This place is 51% owned by Steve Baker and 49% owned by Hackensack Meridian health. Through my years I will definitely say that Hackensack Meridian has become corporately driven for financial profit. We hired a service to help us find the next place to put my dad and it worked!

They are always friendly and treat my father well. He enjoys the meals and activities. When our Dad was hospitalized and then entered rehab this winter, we realized he would never be able to return home. After considering many different facilities we—and he—decided on The Villas. From the friendly, caring staff and the gorgeous facility to the amazing food, we were constantly reinforced that we had made the right decision. We were told The Villas is a new “model” of assisted living—I only hope more facilities follow their example. We were heartbroken when our Dad passed away after only five weeks. Even then, we were comforted by the loving care and concern shown to our father and our entire family in his final days.

Or Course it is difficult to start to look for an ideal living environment for a parent. We looked at several locations but none came close to the experience at the Villas. Months later Mom is very happy with our joint decision. The staff is working hard during these Covid times but do their work with grace and care. We are especially happy with Jill whose upbeat energy is infectious. She is omnipresent insuring residents are engaged socially as much as they chose.

I don't know where to begin to express my appreciation of the Villa team and how impressed I am with the accommodations. From my initial call with Cindy, to the informative, thorough, and comforting tour provided by Rachel, to the warm welcome provided to my Dad upon arrival by the entire team (Kelly, Kristen, Rachel, Cindy, Jill), to the ongoing care and attentiveness - I am completely overwhelmed. I never thought a place like this existed! My family had just experienced a tragic even and we needed a specific, delicate, caring, and loving place for my Dad to live - and the Villas exceeded our expectations in every way. My Dad lives in the independent living section and is enrolled in a care program. This was the perfect solution for his condition upon arrival and will be adjusted as needed. Not only is he getting great care, meals, access to fitness facilities; happy hours; in-house salon; full movie theater - he has made new friendships and has the local town square in walking distance. The bonus was having an attendant Maia (who speaks fluent Italian 🙂 which made him feel right at home. - Cleanliness 10 out of 10 - Professionalism 10 out of 10 - Meals 10 out of 10 - Covid Protection Measures 10 out of 10 - Administration 10 out of 10 Truly has the feeling of a high-end resort that you would stay in for vacation. We are truly blessed to have found such a place!!!

My mother-in-law was one of the first residents in the fall of 2019 and she & our family couldn’t be happier. First and foremost her care, health and comfort are always top priority. Entering into a pandemic - five short months after moving in - we were blessed that she was there & safe as the entire Villas community was vigilant in keeping both the residents and staff healthy. They went out of there way to provide immediate virtual, and eventually window visitation, when ever needed and maintained steady communication with us as family members. Living on the Assisted Living floor she has the option to call on someone 24 hrs a day, as well as daily interaction with The Villas nursing, nutrition & daily activity teams! I love hearing about the book of the month or receiving something from her that was made during an afternoon activity. A recent visit to the hospital was coordinated so efficiently, as well as, her follow up physical therapies - that she was able to right there at The Villas. From the minute you walk in the door you are greeted and welcomed like one of the family!

In addition to a caring and attentive staff, and superior amenities, they helps Residents enjoy their lives to the fullest. I have a FREE service that helps families choose the best Senior living options for their loved ones and the Villas certainly checks all the boxes and is a great consideration in that part of New Jersey. My mom moved into the Villas almost a year ago and it has been amazing for her (and us!). I’m not sure which aspect we all like more – the fact that we know she’s being looked after when needed, the social aspect or the food. A few months after she moved in, an evening aide probably saved her life by assessing a situation correctly and calling 911 & now she’s fully recovered. We were looking for an appropriate place for her to live, never expecting her to join any activities, and now I get pictures of her dancing at bbqs. She talks about the menu so much that my husband is ready to move in. At least once a week my mom & I still talk about how we can’t get over how this is truly the best place for her for so many reasons. All around, a great place with great services and great people!

We recently transferred my mother in law from NC to the Villas of Manalapan. This process could have been daunting being she was out of state however, everyone at the Villas made the process go smoothly from our first and 2nd tour with Michael down to move in day with Jill. It has been a few weeks and the staff is wonderful, the facility is gorgeous, Jill the family liaison does a fantastic job keeping the family in the loop as well as answering all of our questions and concerns. The memory care director Shannon is also fantastic. The nursing staff is doing a great job with moms medical needs. These staff members are angels and we truly knew we found the right place for mom/mom in law. Treating mom as one of their own.

My mom has been a resident a the Villas for several months now. The community and apartments are new and well decorated. The staff takes wonderful care of my mom and communicates with me on a regular basis regarding her condition/well being. The access to on site nursing and doctor access is second to none and a fantastic amenity, especially if your loved one has limited mobility. The staff is also very encouraging in promoting the on site activities and trying to get all the residents involved. I would highly recommend The Villas at Manalapan to anyone looking for a fantastic place for a loved one to reside.

My grandmother moved into the villas earlier this year. I could not be happier with the care and community that she gets at the villas. The facility is absolutely beautiful! The building is beautiful and the decor is modern. Everything is spacious with wide hallways, high ceilings, and beautiful chandeliers. The staff is also incredible. Jill is wonderful and talks to my grandma and my family like we are part of her own. I feel at ease knowing that my grandma is getting fantastic care and a great community at the villas.

The Villas is a wonderful place for anyone looking for an assisted living facility. The Villas at Manalapan offers services above and beyond any other place around. We recently moved a loved one into the facility and she could not be happier. She has made new friends, eats wonderful meals, and has become very active in all the activities that are offered at the facility. It is like staying in a five star hotel. We are so happy that she has a place that she now calls "home".

I have to say that The Villas of Manalapan is an amazing place. It took a long time to open but my mom and I could not have been happier. The nursing care led by Joy (Director) and Nino (Head Nurse) have been truly outstanding. My mom had transitioned from Florida which our family thought would be difficult but I must say they may this transition very easy from day ; making her totally comfortable and part of the "family". However it doesn't stop there. The Head Chef (John) has also made sure my mom has had plenty to eat in fact has provided my mom whatever she desired outside of what was on the menu. When needed John and his staff has cut my moms food as she has difficulty doing so herself. From the administration team to the Operations/Sales the service and support have more than surpassed all my expectations. I would 100% recommend them for your family as well.

I recently toured The Villas at Manalapan, New Jersey with a group of women who were gathering information about three tiered living should the need arise.The facility is new, beautifully decorated with state of the art amenities and services for seniors. The staff, of course, was cordial and very welcoming. The independent and assisted living suites are well planned and very attractive. We were very impressed. Many activities to make senior life enjoyable, healthy and safe are available. Meal time can be the highlight of the day for seniors. So, most impressive is their attention to nutritious, seasonal, carefully planned and executed meals. We loved everything about The Villas. Marge

I’ve always said my mom would never go into a “home”! And she hasn’t ! Two weeks ago she moved into her apartment in a luxury 5 star hotel. I’m talking about the Villas. She has spent the last 2 weeks eating the most scuptious food, being watched over by a caring, compassionate, loving staff and has made friends! She seems very happy and each day has a new story to tell me. The other evening she and another women didn’t want to go to their apartments after dinner so, they were ushered into the movie theatre and watched a movie about Frank Sinatra! She had a ball! Oh! And the movie theatre is an actual movie theatre with luxury seats and a snack bar! She’s playing games, working in the library and having a glass of wine during “happy hour”! I’m relaxed and my mom seems happy and watched over, what more could a daughter ask for?
