I think the facility has both good and bad issues just like everything. The administrator Michael is attentive. He helped rectify matters I was concerned with regarding my aunts care. Overall the staff is very nice.

I've visited this skilled nursing facility many times in this quaint and charming neighborhood of Jersey City. During those times I've come to know Kasey the Administrator and his awesome team. They're all about their patients and providing the best care. The building is currently undergoing some interior renovations that are quite nice. If you're not familiar with this facility I'd suggest calling to arrange a tour. I highly recommend this facility to anyone in need of the types of care they offer. You'll be in great hands at the Best Kept Secret in Hudson County. Thank you. Julie M.

I worked there for three weeks. My boss was wonderful and caring. However, he had to take emergency leave. I was a week old and they just told me, "OK, run Social Services." I was so stressed out. I was a wreck with all the stress. The day he came back, I was ready to settle in and show my worth. However, I was escorted out while my boss was on break. Lovely timing. It was humiliating. It was their loss. I'm a gifted SW. I feel bad because the residents suffered with the lack of SW staff.

I presently have a loved one who is receiving physical rehabilitation and has been there for nearly a month. Kudos to the physical therapy staff and thumbs up for the assistants who take food orders and brings meals to the patients! Major concern: my loved one had a two-part insurance. One part is Medicare. The other is a Blue Cross Blue shield related insurance. Without discussing anything with my loved one, someone, perhaps a case manager - not sure, canceled his insurance, leaving him with Medicare only so that he can reside at Hamilton long-term. But no one ever consulted with my loved one. He happened to find out about his insurance cancellation when he phoned his insurance to ask some general questions about his insurance benefits. The matter has yet to be resolved. My loved one has requested to see the director but to no avail. I am angered and disappointed. This is the kind of unethical behavior you hear about on TV, never thinking it can happen to you. Well let's see what tomorrow brings. Stay tuned

My brother has been a patient with Alaris for the past over 3 months and I find the staff such as Nurses May, Margaret and Mervy on the 3rd floor at 525 Monmouth to be very conscientious andi nformative. I have confidence in their quality of care.

My father entered this facility several months ago and is in better health (mentally and physically) than he has been in years. The staff are friendly, loving, responsible and flexible.

This place has the best nurses and physical therapist I've ever seen or had help me with out them and this place and worker's here I would have lost my foot and half my leg. I am so thankful to them and this place being here, and a special thanks to nurse Mary for not giving up and helping me all the way. This infection I had was the worst, and even though I lost one toe I am very thankful to all who work here, thank you from William Pfeiffer

This 5 star Review is for the Physical Therapy Dept only. The whole Physical Therapy and Occupational Therapy Dept was beyond amazing! I chose Hamilton Park because of their strong PT/OT Dept. My 88 yr old mom was in the hospital for 14 days without walking and left completely de conditioned, but from the 1st session, the PT Dept was able to get her to walk a few steps and she progressed dramatically from there on forward. Everyone worked cohesively with the common goal to get the patient the best care possible. There were many challenges with the other staff (CNAs/Nurses) in the facility, but believe me when I tell you, the PT/OT department is worth coming to Hamilton Park for! The equipment is good, at the end of the day the patients are in rehab and you don't need the newest, state of the art equipment to get your loved ones back on their feet.
