I was recently admitted to this facility,now managed by aristacare. The staff are friendly ,knowledgeable and extremely kind. Facility was newly renovated and kept really clean . My father needed a rehab facility after being in the hospital - he had some physical and cognitive issues. Abington Care/Arista Care accepted him immediately and worked with the hospital to get him transferred to them. Right from the start, Shaul and Ben worked with us to get him a private room and make him comfortable. They checked in with him daily and had the PT, OT, Speech therapist, dietician, and more come and examine him right from the first day. It was evident to see that he was happy there right away and doing much better. The room is comfortable and he enjoys the food. I know he is looking forward to getting involved in the activities. Everyone is so friendly and helpful and you don't feel liked you are bugging them with questions. A great place for my dad.

Update: June 2026. My mom’s stay here was very good. We moved her to a location closer to us but otherwise she was treated very well and taken good care of. No complaints. My mom has been at Abingdon Care Center for a month (September 2026) and is doing very well. Better than she was at home on her own. She is there for long term care. The staff have been excellent. Very kind, patient and caring. The facility is undergoing renovation and I look forward to seeing it when it is complete. I especially appreciate that Abingdon is very communicative and I have access to my mom's updates.

My uncle Willie Mickens was transported yesterday to Abingdon Care I must say the place is absolutely beautiful. The staff nurses and nurses aid are really really nice and friendly I had a chance to go to bingo on Tuesday there had breakfast and the food was amazing. I will recognize this place to anyone. I had the privilege to stay at Aristacare of Green brook! The Occupational therapy as well as their Physical therapy was state of the art! The staff works hard to make sure your stay is as accommodating as well as professional you couldn’t find a better place to recover from my condition! If I am unfortunately in need of their PT and OT program i would choose it again!

I was dreading putting mom in one of these places but I'm glad I picked this facility. My mom’s experience at Abingdon exceeded all her and my expectations. The warmth, friendliness, and overall good cheer of the entire staff including janitors, personal aids, nurses, PT's and recreation dept., in addition to the administrative staff, permeates the atmosphere. I have been in many rehabs with my mom 91 many times, with all bad experiences. She recently fell and had a hip replacement. I was so happy and fortunate to find Abington rehab in Green brook. For her short term rehab. Most important is that it is newly owned, so don’t read old reviews. Brand new modern, staff is amazing and attentive to my mom. A gym that is state of the art with extremely professional rehab staff. I highly recommend this place. I cant say enough. I ho home feeling secure and safe. She is happy and safe. Shes doing so much better.

I want to give Shalonda a wholehearted 5-star rating for her exceptional support and dedication. She coordinated everything tirelessly from the nursing home in New Jersey during my father's move from Virginia. Shalonda communicated seamlessly with the hospital in Virginia and the nursing home staff, ensuring every detail was in place. Even late into the night on the day of our travel, she checked in on us, expressing genuine concern for my father’s well-being despite our assurances not to bother her. She showed extraordinary care, professionalism, and kindness throughout the entire process. Shalonda is an outstanding person and made a very difficult transition much easier for our family.
