It's been a long road with Alzheimer's, miserable degrading disease. I tried to care at home not realizing there is some patients that fit under the special needs category, thinking this is insane there's no possible way she can stay home. Sadly decided I can't do it and put her in Brookedale Memory Care, she had 2ER trips in 2 weeks and looked like she was abused and they said they couldn't take care of her because of the Alzheimer's, mind you nothing was hidden from them, all medical records seen. In my frantic search when they kicked her out, someone told me to call Millennium memory care. I spoke with Rayna and asked what happens if you can't take care of her, she reassured me that they could regardless of her behaviors. Within a week we could see mom healing from the neglect of previous care. She's been there 4 months now. Everyone on staff of friendly and loving. They greet us with smiles and respond with kindness. Any questions or concerns I go straight to Rayna and she listens and fully understands that's my momma, she is on the ball and treats mom the way I would! Mom has adjusted well, when family visits it's just like we are going to her house and spending quality time. We love to sit on the porch and talk. These moments are limited now so my sister and I are enjoying the time that's left not stressing over her care. We can be her children now and not her care takers.

Rayna White was a pleasure to deal with when I needed a 30 day stay for my Dad, Joe Testa. She made sure he was taken good care of and the staff is very professional. Thanks again Rayna

After visiting my sister at the Freehold Millennium Memory care, I am very grateful of the wonderful care that she is getting there from Rayna and her staff. Rayna is the best. When we have any questions she is right on top of it. She makes sure the staff is always informed . We can't communicate with our sister so it is very important to have the staff that is patient and kind to our sister. Thank you for all you do Rayna.

Dementia. Something I would never think would happen in our family. No one for generations had but it did strike our family, my Mom and early, in her 60's it started. We would never think about not caring for her at home, but as the late stages came upon her, you all know it is safer for our loved one's to be cared and watched for at a facility. She started her journey in a North Carolina faciltiy which we thought was beautiful. We were so wrong. No proper care or understanding how to care for dementia patients. We brought her to NJ and found Millenium Memory Care in Freehold and we have been blessed to have found this unique and wonderful, and I will not say facility, but Home for Mom. The care, food, staff, location and cleanliness is beyond expectations we could have wished for. I have always disliked the smell at the elderly care facilities when entering, but this facility has NO smell. May not seem important to some but to me it was very important. Shows how the facility is cared for as well as the patients in my opionion. Millenium of Freehold is a family like atmosphere with only 16 rooms so it is exactly like a real home for the residents. Beautiful front porch with lots of loungers and you feel you are in a cabin in the woods. Backyard for walking with flowers. Sunroom attached for spring and summer relaxing. All food cooked in their open kitchen home made and served right there in the dining area. Again so homey. It is a home for my Mom and for us too. Rayna the director runs a tight ship and is always available for you if you need to speak to her. A true caring professional. Shout out to Helen, my favorite RN who is always helpful and efficient. The staff are caring, considerate, compassionate and patient and know how to care for all their residents. Our Mother is safe and well cared for, all one can ask with this devastating condition. She can not communicate with words but she smiles, is extremely healthy due to her care so we can have peace in our minds because the family as we all know suffers just as much. Do not hesitate to visit this facility you will be so happy you did. Thank you Millenium Memory Care of Freehold, you have made my sister and myself so less stressed knowing our Mom is exactly where she should be at her Home and in the care of Caring Professionals.

I would like to take a moment to thank Rayna in the Freehold location. Two years ago this month our sister was transferred to the Freehold Millennium. From the day she arrived there, we were informed of all we needed to know about her stay there, and still are. Rayna and her staff are kind, caring and very patient. We know our sister is well cared for there. We love that they have cute names for our sister. It makes her smile when they come in and smile at her and call her by their nick name for her. It is so comforting to have people around your love ones who love their jobs and treat them with kindness and love. If we go to visit or place a phone call there we are always greeted with sweetness and kindness. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts!!! Geri Loffredo and family

You don't often see someone give 5 stars at a nursing facility/memory care facility. However if you take time to read my review you will be reassured that this is where your loved one needs to be. My mom has progressive dementia. She was placed 6 months ago in a highly rated Memomory care facility in North Carolina. If I could give 1 star to the facility I would. You have to understand dementia in order to claim you are a memory care facility. They do not nor did they hire staff that understood dementia. Mom was labeled as combatative while there. She yells and screams and hits at times if you try and shower her, change her, take her to the bathroom, give her her meds or make her do something she does not want to do. All things she resisted that are very important to her health and well being. So showers were not given, teeth not brushed, meds not given ,did not eat and walked and walked from night to day and lost 40 lbs in 4 months. I called daily and I mean daily . I am in NJ and had a ring camera in her room and saw how she was being treated and lodged at least 200 complaints. They did not care. It was always yes yes yes and nothing done. We decided enough was enough and not getting better. We brought her to New Jersey where my sister and I live and I found Millenium Memory Care of Freehold & Matawan due to the combative issue. Made an appointment at Freehold first and that was it. No more appointments we found her home! Rayna is in charge of the facility and we met with her and we were highly impressed. She explained how mom would be taken care of and we just thought we heard this before but were hopeful. Everything Rayna promised and more in the past 2 months has happened. Mom no longer walks from morning to night. She eats and has gained at least 7 lbs. She has access to a Merry Walker which we knew nothing about and now she is safe walking, which she does not much of because she gets her medications properly. The staff takes time and tricks to get her to take. They bathe her and change her everyday. They don't even label her as combative because what mom does is typical of dementia patients. All we wanted was to find a caring faciltiy who saw the residences as human beings not just patients. Home cooked meals everyday. Beautiful sunroom and livingroom area with nice backyard and rocking chairs on a very long porch. The staff is very friendly and know how to deal with dementia patients and when yelled at, hit at etc it does not phase them they keep doing their job slowly and patiently. Rayna runs a tight ship and a smooth ship. Communicates with us quickly and informs us on anything we need to know. We went through 4 months of hell and thought every place would be like mom's first placement because we were told all places alike. I am not blowing smoke and if anyone wants to contact me they can. My sister and I now have a heavy weight lifted off of us knowing our Mom (which I wish we could have at home but can't) is content, happy from what we can tell and well cared for. Rayna, Helen her entire staff can not be thanked enough and John the Director OMG! the nicest man I have come across in a long time. A shout out to the activity aid as well. She is very engaged with the residences. Sorry I went on and on but if you have a dementia loved one you will see in my words the exact worries you have or same incidents you have gone through and want you to know there is a safe, loving place out there for them. Thank you Millenium Memory Care. Rayna you "Rock"

Rayna is wonderful as a house manager. Her communication with family is exemplary, from the time you bring your family member to her to the time of them passing. I have received weekly updates from her over the last 1 years that my uncle was under her care. If I had any concerns in regards to his care she would take the time out to listen to my concerns and address them immediately. When needing to be in touch with a nurse or doctor she would assist in getting you in touch with them and speaking with them also. Rayna will send pictures for the parties that she gives the family members during the holidays, she tries her best to make sure that they are never forgotten or missing out on anything. The home cooked meals and attention to their favorite snacks is a delight knowing that your loved one is not giving up anything that they enjoy. I was very impressed with all the care that was given to my uncle while he was here. Even thru the pandemic Rayna did the utmost to keep you with your loved one. Even when the home was closed to visitors she made sure you could see them and talk to them in a safe manner. If it was thru a window or phone call you were able to hear their voice and know they were okay.

Millennium Freehold was not my first choice for my husband's care but it's turned out to be the BEST choice. They have been able to manage Roger's care without constantly sending him to the hospital which has been such a relief. The facility is very clean and Rayna and her friendly, attentive staff provide excellent care for my husband. He has adapted to his new home very well.

Rayna White at Millennium in Freehold has made such a difference in my loved one with dementia. She was able to expertly assess his behaviors and needs to create an effective care plan. My loved one was a 2 other memory care communities but was not able to stay due to behavior issues that they could or would not manage. Rayna is able to manage behaviors that other places may not be able to. So far my family is pleased. No place is perfect but you have to find the place that is perfect or best for your loved on

Rayna and staff have been incredible for our mom! After our mother was in another facility in PA and having terrible behavioral issues, we moved her to Freehold for respite and what a difference! Mom even told us how she liked it better "because the people were nicer!" Once mom told us that she wanted to stay and saw how well she was cared for, we immediately moved her there full time! The change in behavior and the small resident size are a perfect fit and we know that our mom is well cared for!

We moved my mom into Millennium in Freehold in August of this year after she had several falls resulting in visits to the ER in her last placement. Mom needed a greater level of care. Rayna and the warm, caring and accommodating staff welcomed Mom in and have provided a safe and intimate home like environment. Mom is well cared for enjoying home cooked meals and lots of personal attention. We visit often and are so grateful to Rayna and her team for keeping my mom safe and for taking such special care of her.

I needed to have my mother placed in a memory care facility on short notice and was able to work with Galina and Rayna to place her here. They made the process easy and I felt comfortable from the beginning. The staff here are attentive to the residents and do their best to make a home like atmosphere. Communication was never a problem with Rayna. I recommend Millennium for memory care.

I would like to thank Rayna and her staff for the great job they are doing at the new Freehold location. We recently moved our sister Phyllis from the Matawan location to the Freehold location and were worried how she would transition, but Rayna helped make the move easy and pleasant. We are always kept informed and advised if anything is needed to help. Whenever we call the staff is friendly and helpful. They always tell us how they love Phyllis and what is going on. We appreciate your dedication and devotion to all the residents which helps ease our worries. Thank you so much for caring for our sister and giving us a sense of comfort.

When Dad sadly didn't do well at another Memory Care facility, we were lost.
