Our family couldn't have asked for a better home for our mother during the last three years of her life. Westwind Manor is a small assisted living community, and that smaller size allows the staff to provide truly individualized care. They don't just care for their residents”they genuinely know them. They understand each person's personality, preferences, routines, and needs, and they treat every resident with dignity, compassion, and genuine affection. One of the things that impressed us most was the emphasis on keeping residents active, engaged, and smiling. The creative games and activities weren't simply a way to pass the time”they brought people together and gave everyone something to look forward to each day. Michael, the Activity Director, is, without question, one of the greatest assets of Westwind Manor. His enthusiasm is contagious, and he has an incredible gift for encouraging every resident to participate, regardless of their abilities. Whether leading inventive games or the almost-daily chair exercise sessions, he made everyone feel included, celebrated every accomplishment, and filled the community with laughter, encouragement, and joy. The nursing and support staff was equally exceptional. We always had complete confidence that our mother's medications were administered on schedule and that her health, comfort, and well-being were their highest priorities. Their professionalism was matched only by the kindness and compassion they showed her every single day. During our mother's final weeks, the care became even more extraordinary. The Westwind Manor staff partnered seamlessly with Affinity Hospice & Palliative Care, ensuring she was surrounded by compassionate, attentive caregivers who treated her”and our entire family”with remarkable tenderness. Knowing she was never without caring support brought us tremendous peace during an incredibly difficult time. One detail that speaks volumes about this community: they have a resident who is 104 years old. While longevity is never guaranteed, it certainly reflects the kind of loving, attentive environment they have created. If you're looking for a large, impersonal facility, this isn't it. If you're looking for a place where your loved one will be truly known, genuinely cared for, encouraged to stay active, and treated like family, I wholeheartedly recommend Westwind Manor. Our family will always be grateful for the love, compassion, and exceptional care they gave our mother. Those gifts will never be forgotten.

We are beyond grateful for the care and dedication this facility has shown my grandmother. Moving a loved one into assisted living is never easy, but from the very beginning, the team here went above and beyond to support us through the process, even when it felt like everyone else was working against us. Todd, Tracy, and Cindy are all incredibly kind, responsive, and easy to work with every step of the way. Truly, every staff member we have interacted with has been compassionate, patient, and helpful. It is clear this team genuinely cares. The staff treat residents with respect and dignity, and it shows in how well my grandmother has adjusted. She is happy, engaged, and enjoys the food and activities, which means everything to us. What stands out most is their willingness to advocate for their residents and go the extra mile to ensure individual needs are met. Their communication, compassion, and attention to detail have given our family so much peace of mind. We could not have asked for a better place for her. Our dad has been treated with respect and kindness at Westwind Manor. All members of the staff have gone out of their way to make him feel welcome. The food must be good because he is eating three full meals a day!

Westwind Manor is far and away the best experience my 91 year old mother has had. Although her memory is failing, she’s having the time of her life in a caring, positive, active community with a team of professionals that sincerely want to make every day special for her and the other 50+ residents there. Lots of activities, great meals, lovely chapel with spectacular views, with hands-on management that are licensed and know what they are doing and manage from the heart. Highly recommend for someone that wants more of a family atmosphere and less of a big corporate institutional setting.

My mother has been in Westwind for four years. I often visit so I have become familiar with the facility, staff and it's members. She and the other members receive the care a family member would give to her. The staff enjoy working here and know each of the members personally. Members enjoy many different activities. When I visit my mother in the community rooms their is often laughter and singing. The members of Westwind become friends with each other as well as the staff. Additional I would like to commend how well Westwind (AKA: Grace Elder Care) handled Covid. Everyone that works and lives here were so careful and the facility remained Covid free for a long period of time.

I am so happy with Westwind Manor. My mom has been there for 3 1/2 years and I feel the level of care is awesome. The nursing staff is open to conversations and never make me feel like an annoyance. I truly appreciated the measures of protection that were implemented during COVID and believe that that speaks to how they care and protect their residents and staff.
