My mom has lived at Brookdale Florence for just over one year now and we are both very pleased with the care and environment. The staff are great communicators, I live rather far from the facility, and I always feel connect and informed. Regular communication and visits are welcomed and encouraged. My mom always tells me she feels safe and happy living in this community. She can be social, and she can also have her own space and time in her apartment. The common areas and grounds are clean and well cared for, she has all the amenities and care she needs. All in all, I am so thankful for the Brookdale Florence team, they made this an easy and friendly transition for my mom. I am confident her needs will continue to be met as they change and evolve over time.

We placed my brother- in- law here when his car was beyond what family members could handle. He can still do many things independently, so we looked for a balance. We choose Brookdale Florence for is smaller size, family atmosphere, and casting staff members. We weren't sold a pitch; we were welcomed to the family! That had made all the difference. They provide him with to notch care, tasty meals, and a sense of community he wasn't getting at home. We're thankful we found such a well rounded facility. We visit him often. He's also able to sign out and come with us fishing! It's a great place and the staff it's always friendly and helpful.

The wonderful staff has helped give Midge a whole new life, filled with safety, support, friendship, activities, creativity, and joy. After years of health challenges, hospitalizations, and living alone, Midge came to Brookdale looking for a place where she could feel cared for and at home. What she found was so much more. She is healthier, more active, more engaged, and truly excited about each day. One of my happiest moments came when I called to say I would be visiting, and she told me, Check with me first, because I have a very busy and enjoyable day lined up today! Those words meant everything to me. They showed me that Brookdale has not simply provided care; it has helped restore joy, independence, and purpose to her life. I especially want to recognize the outstanding staff. Their compassion, patience, warmth, and dedication are evident in everything they do. The activities, creative programs, and daily encouragement have helped Midge rediscover talents, make connections, and look forward to each day. As someone who was the total caregiver for my C5 quadriplegic wife for fourteen years, I have seen many acute, sub-acute, and assisted living facilities. I have never felt the same secure and satisfying feeling that I now feel with Brookdale Florence. I have researched and visited several assisted living facilities, and I have found Brookdale Senior Living in Florence, NJ to be among the very best. The facility is consistently clean and welcoming, and unlike many others, it never has unpleasant odors. The staff is truly exceptional. They continually strive to improve the living experience for their residents and treat both clients and families with genuine care and respect. When my uncle needed palliative and hospice care, Ivahna Hadden, the nurse, personally called me and helped guide me through the entire process, making a difficult time much easier for our family. Sara Thompson, the event coordinator, went above and beyond by organizing two very special events for my uncle. She first coordinated a dinner with the American Legion so he could reconnect with local veterans. Later, she arranged a meaningful recognition ceremony with a state official to honor my uncle’s service as both a veteran and a public servant. What truly sets Brookdale Senior Living in Florence apart is that they didn’t just care for my uncle ” they embraced our family as their own. For that, we will always be grateful.

Brookdale at Florence is a wonderful assisted living community in Burlington County, NJ. Our mom has been a resident for over a year, and we know we made the right choice moving her there. From the moment we walked in for our first look, it felt so homey. The staff is very friendly and takes great care of the residents. The facility is bright and clean, and always decorated for upcoming events and holidays. There are many activities for the residents to participate in, and you can see the smiles on their faces as they join in. The entire staff is the best, and has become like family to us. They work closely with residents and families to make living there feel like (to quote our mom) home away from home.

My father has been a resident at Brookdale Florence for a year now, and I can honestly say it’s one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. From day one, the staff has been compassionate, attentive, and truly dedicated to his well-being. My father receives excellent care, and most importantly, he feels safe, respected, and valued. The team here is remarkable. They treat residents like family and consistently go above and beyond to create a warm, welcoming environment. The Director leads with genuine care and professionalism, and it shows in every aspect of the Community. The Resident Engagement Director has been amazing at encouraging my father to get out, stay active, and enjoy social events. The Health and Wellness Team is always willing to answer questions and offer thoughtful solutions. The Associates in the dining room, the Janitorial Staff, and the Environmental Coordinator are all kind and caring. The Sales Coordinator continues to provide support and guidance, which has been greatly appreciated. I cannot say enough about his Caregiver, who is the epitome of compassion and goes above and beyond every single day. Knowing my father is surrounded by such wonderful people brings me tremendous peace of mind. I’m deeply grateful to everyone at Brookdale Florence for the kindness and dedication they show each day in making Brookdale feel like home.

My friend lived happily at Brookdale Florence. It is a very homey and comfortable environment. He was reluctant to go into assisted living, but really needed the care. While there he made great friends and was very happy. He would walk around the path of the attached scenic park. He always said he enjoyed the food. He participated in the activities and events. He adjusted quickly and was pleasantly surprised by how happy he was living in a facility. Thumbs up to all who cared for him and made him feel at home.

After visiting several other senior/assisted living facilities in the area, my mother and I knew instantly when we saw Brookdale Florence that this was the place for her. It was very homelike, not institutional at all. Moreover, it was smaller than other homes we looked at, giving it a homey feel and the sense that one could feel personally involved here. The staff are very friendly and efficient at the same time. Everybody looks out for everybody else, whether it be residents or visitors. They involved my mother right away in activities she might like, or she was encouraged just to get out and sit on the patio in the fresh air. They tailored her menu to things she liked. She especially enjoyed the days that puppies visited. When my mother needed it, Brookdale was able to refer us to excellent aides to help her further in her days. Patience, compassion, and excellent care are what she received. Highly recommended.

My Mother-in-law was very reluctant to enter an assisted living facility, even though her limited mobility left her homebound and missing social interaction which had been such a big part of her life before she developed health issues. Since she has moved into Brookdale Florence she has blossomed into a much happier person, interacting with other adults in a way which she finds very rewarding.
