When I came in, I was greeted by the.Receptionist at the front door she was very kind and helped me register.And told me exactly where to go.And how to get there. The facility is very clean and well kept.It was a hot day and it was nice and cool inside. It is a large facility. And another member, explained to me where to go. My family member seems happy there and it's being well-cared-for.

Poor response by nurses for medication needs. Often given wrong foids. Noisy all night long by patients leaving their blasting TV's on, while they sleep. Unable to enjoy TV due to others blasting their TV's. Nothing of true value & Worth on TV Programs made available have nothing of inspirational & hopeful viewing to encourage improvement. Nothing available on Programs about God, which is sorely needed in such a place. Pushed myself to get out of there ASAP.

The nursing care is exceptional., This my second time here and the therapy has been outstanding, meeting my needs. Lisa and her activity staff provide excellent activities. I would return to Excelcare at Egg Harbor for a third time if I required further rehabilitation.

From friendly, painless check-in to engaging sign out 30 minutes later, ExcelCare was a good experience, especially since the friend I came to visit is in a nice, clean room (some questionable furnishings and equipment) and was clear that most of the personnel were professionals and work well with their patients.

The physical therapy department was great. Got my wife up from a bed to a walker and made the transition home great. Through the grace of God my wife is doing fantastic and now is walking with a cane. Thanks Mike, Dan and Dan, Vicky and Lisa! Holly was a huge help and was so sweet as were some of the nurses especially Jennifer. The lady from Morocco ( I'm sorry I forgot her name who had the refreshments) was a real sweetheart and was so encouraging to my wife. Thank you all.

My dad’s CNA today 12/11/25 was outstanding. Listened tall our question (patiently). Returned with Mike the director of PT. He answered several questions and made sure we understood where we are headed in the coming days. Was going to have conversations with the Drs on our behalf. Great staff!!!

When my husband was admitted to ExcelCare, we both cried fearing what was ahead but today, three months later we are crying for a different reason, we are saying goodbye to some outstanding people who helped us through a very difficult time. I cannot say enough positive things about this establishment from the administration who frequently asked if we needed anything, the doctors who are among the most qualified and truly compassionate in their perspective fields, the nurses who are very professional and serious about their responsibilities, the aides who I call “ Earth Angels”, who greeted us every day with a smile and happily attended the needs of the residents no matter how challenging, the hard-working housekeeping staff who were very pleasant and often would sing in the morning when cleaning , the social workers, who are very eager to pass on necessary information regarding your stay, and thereafter. We cannot leave out the therapy department, they are among the best. When my husband arrived, he could not raise his shoulders from the bed, after a week of therapy he was able to get up on his own and sit on the edge of the bed and actually stand up and is now walking. This was truly amazing since he had been bedridden for five months and had to endure five surgeries, pneumonia, sepsis, a ventilator for two months, a tracheostomy for six weeks and finally a collapse lung. Undoubtedly Divine intervention played a role in his remarkable recovery. My husband and I would like to thank Dr Brendan Kelly who strongly recommended this establishment and guided us through his care and everyone at Excelcare for excelling at what you do! God bless all of you!

My wife Irene Centeno and I would like to extend our gratitude to nurse Susan Raymond for superb attentiveness and professionalism. From the first day ExcelCare had a difficult time getting Irene,s medication correctly or administered the correct way. Because of Nurse S. Raymond's knowledge and concern she would fix the problem as many times it took, and it would be just about every other day. I think Excel is a beautiful nursing home. It’s very clean. Smells very nice. The people are all very friendly and my friend. Who’s in there is being taken care of very well. I met a woman from there physical therapy. She was working with my friend and we got talking and she’s a very nice lady if I had to go in one of those rehabilitations, that’s exactly where I would go.

The outside is beautifully kept, you walk inside to this beautiful lobby with an enormous fish tank in the wall, the facility smells wonderful & is immaculate, the physical therapy rooms are so modern & up to date, this facility deserves 10 thumbs up.

My mom went to Excel Care for rehab on the 1st floor in January & then went upstairs for Long Term Care till she passed on April 4, 2025 from Dementia/Alzheimer's. The facility is really nice and clean and it always smells so nice when you go in there. The staff was very nice & I know my mom didn't make it easy for them with how her Dementia made her super combative. I would also like to give Jocelyn in Rehab a great review as well. She was always there to answer any questions that I had & was also good with mom. Everyone is so nice from the ladies who greet you in the front, HR & the whole entire staff. Thank you for taking care of my mom.

I was visiting my childhood friend who was transferred there from another facility. This place is beautiful and the staff is very friendly. I haven’t met her Drs yet but the aids and nurses were very nice. It’s clean and well maintained. So far so good.
