Had help quickly. My mom was questioned AND helped. Since this is 2nd rehab facility, and the first was HORRID, we are very pleased for this being the first day.

My mother needed a place and we're glad we found The Fountains but unfortunately there are a few things that need improvement that we were sold on. The main one being meal service. There seems to be a massive staff or vendor issue with the dining hall and the result is very very slow service and often cold food. I joined my mother there and waited over an hour for dinner to be served. It was mildly warm and she often says it's cold and many send it back to the kitchen for them to warm it up. This needs to change. They need to come up with a realistic solution even if that means raising the rates to pay for it. But a nice hot meal keeps these folks happy. The second issue is the somewhat unknown remodeling status. The front entrance is nice and lobby area is great. The rooms are remodeled as well which is nice but the corridors are badly dated and it sounds like this has been the case for a few years maybe with any further remodeling being paused for unknown reasons. I've tried reaching out to get answers but my calls and emails are not returned.

Very first time at the Fountains visiting My Brother who's there for rehabilitation from a spinal injury. Everyone was very kind pleasant and helpful, had a wonderful visit with Him , will be stopping in to see Him frequent to see how all working out.

Allegra was the worst experience of my life. Understaffed and little to no care. As a rehab most clients were residents there for other reasons. I would not recommend the facility to anyone.

My friend has been admitted to the fountains for rehab. So far it's is cleaner and brighter than the other location she has to rehab at before surgery. The staff is friendly and helpful the way you'd expect medical staff would be. When she asked for help, she got it ASAP. She had only been there one day and it was like everyone knew who she was and treated her with respect, kindness, and integrity.

I would like to share my outstanding experience with Jenna McGrail and the staff at The Fountains at Atco. From the very beginning, Jenna made my father’s transition into the community seamless and stress‘free. She was incredibly accommodating, responsive, and thoughtful throughout the entire process. The staff as a whole has been consistently friendly, attentive, and supportive. The amenities are impressive, the atmosphere is warm, and I now have complete peace of mind knowing my dad is in such capable hands. I recently toured the Fountains for a loved one. Everyone is smiling and kind, the residents, the staff. It felt professional and cared for throughout all the continuum of care. After going through rehab in the Skilled center we hope she will take residence in the community. Looking forward!

This place is great!! My grand parents lived here years ago. Recently my aunt has had to move into assisted living. Alex and Jenna have made the experience a lot less stressful and always there to answer questions. They’ve helped every step of the way. I want to give the highest praise to Eva Suriani. Eva goes above and beyond all the time for the residents, staff and families. The Fountains are so blessed have a young woman with such integrity, work ethic, kindness, ambition and empathy, working at this facility. I hope you know the treasure you have! At the end of March I moved my brother from Assisted Living to Skilled Nursing with very short notice. I was told I could take my time cleaning out the apartment, but I was unaware that I had 1 day to clean out the apartment or be charged daily, in addition to the new, much higher care fees associated with Skilled. Not having funds to pay for 2 rooms, I arrived at the apartment after 4pm when I finished work. I brought a wagon and began hauling what I could to my vehicle filling it beyond capacity. The remaining items I pulled into the hall for trash because I had no one to help. A few folks giggled as they walked by and told me what a force I was. I didn’t feel like a force, I felt exhausted and overwhelmed. I prayed for strength and endurance. Eva was on her security shift that last night of March and saw me struggling. As I was taking a load from AL to SK, Eva offered to help me. She was the help I needed, sent from my God, no doubt! She could have walked past and never made eye contact but that is not her character! Eva, may God bless you and keep you. May He make is face shine upon you and be gracious to you. Will be very nice once the remodel is complete they are removing all the carpets and putting in vinyl flooring and paint all the walls. It will be very nice. The apartment they showed us was completely remodeled and very, very nice and comfortable.

The Fountains was a very nice place to stay for my recovery. The residents were nice and all supportive of each other's recovery. The therapy team was also very supportive and knowledgeable. They set goals for rehabilitation and stuck to task. I feel like they listened to me and that was very important with everything I had been through. The Fountains in Berlin-Wow!!!!! I cannot express the gratitude that our family has starting with our first meeting with Jenna, as well every other staff member that assisted us in transitioning our father to the memory care unit. The professionalism, kindness along with patience could not have been any better in fact it has been one of the most positive experiences that we had since my father’s illness. I have been living at The Fountains for almost 4 years. As a matter of fact, it will be four years at the end of February 2025. I can’t think of a nicer place to live.I enjoy the activities and I enjoy camaraderie between myself and, ,my fellow residents. The sta are wonderful.They show an abundance of compassion. Also, the food is very very good. I urge any of you to take a tour. You won’t be disappointed.

my mother has been in skilled nursing for over 4 years and my aunt has lived in independent living for at least 5yrs. My mother has been given kind and gentle care by all the nurses and aides in skilled nursing. (she previously lived in assisted nursing.) My aunt recently became ill and also became a patient in skilled nursing and because of her illness she passed. The family and I appreciate all that kindness skilled nursing extended to them.

After a serious illness and hospital stay, I went to Allergic at the Fountains for a rehab period of about 3 weeks. First I want to say that the staff were wonderful from administration right through to housekeeping. The nurses really paid attention to issues and addressed them promptly. The food, once I was off a pureed diet, was very good. It was also very close to home, family and friends. I really did feel well taken care of, despite the facility going through an administrative change at the time. Totally loved my physical therapy folks. Thank you all for your care.

I came to Allegria in October, 2020. I wanted to have more socialization with peers and relief from home ownership demands due to health issues. After being here for almost 3 years, I am sorely disappointed with this facility. The residents are wonderful folks and I have made many friends. There are many activities available but the appearance and condition of some areas is very depressing. Dirty, bubbled hall carpets, elevators in need of decor repair. My greatest complaint is with the dining experience. There used to be three entrees offered for dinner, Now there are only two and the second choice is not a dinner entree, rather a choice that belongs on a kids menu or a lunch menu and the preparation of the items is wanting. I have no complaints with the staff. They do their best with what the owners provide. In adition the dining room is sterile. The lighting is comercial, there are no window dressings, thereis no warmth to the decor. Dinner time is an event that should be satisfying and pleasurable. The one star rating is not only my personal rating, but a government rating. There needs to be a lot of improvements to Allegria to have that rating improve.
