Staff is amazing! They treat Mom as if she was their own family. Gail and the activities staff are thoughtful and communicative. Gail took Mom for a ride on the bus over the summer, because she knew that Mom's father started the first bus run in their remote community many years ago. It was very kind of Gail and appreciated more than she knew. Before he was promoted, Jared from the kitchen staff knew how much Mom ate, what she does and does not like for meals, whether she was drinking her protein drinks or not, and when we asked, he was willing to discuss with us what he had observed. Again, appreciated more than he knew. Chris from the Administration has kindly pointed me in the right direction with questions I've had, and always has a smile and a kind word when the family visits. At mealtimes, the staff help residents eat, they help them get seated and make sure they are safe and comfortable. They work together well, seeming to communicate with each other without words. My family and I are pleased with Mom's care, and I would recommend The Pines of Newmarket to anyone who asked.

I highly recommend The Pines of Newmarket. My 91 year old Mother entered Pines in December of 2021. She is very happy with the place. She especially likes the organized activities which keep her active. I've found that the nurses and staff are very attentive to her needs.

We moved our mother into The Pines from another facility and to this point we could not be more pleased with our decision. The facility is warm, welcoming and accommodated our very tiring arrival with professional ease and care. I was able to leave my mother that first night feeling confident and secure of her new home. The staff of The Pines are wonderful people who spread a smiling disposition throughout the space. The ambiance is comfortable, homey and allows for individualization as one prefers. I am kept well alerted to any issues my mother encounters and always feel as if my voice is heard and responded to. The facility is very well run, clean and attentive. My brothers and I celebrated Moms 83rd birthday with the staff going out of their way to make the occasion special and memorable for us all. We are very pleased with The Pines!

My father lives here and he was never ever ever going to assisted living ... until he got here and now he's never ever ever leaving. As the son of a resident I enjoy going and visiting everyday even to chat with the other residents or even the cleaning staff some days. You kinda have to be there to get it ...

My mom was a resident there. They treat the residents like they are family like their own parents. Grandparents and even best friends when my mom was put on hospice i dont think i would of made it threw it without the nursing staff there. The staff are very caring. My mom considered that her home and had many friends there residents and ataff included. A very caring and compassionate place

The staff has demonstrated over and over again how much they truly care about the residents there, from the food workers to the home aides and the nursing staff... Until we ran out of money and advised them that within 6 months we would be applying for Medicaid! Despite the verbal assurance that they've never had to remove someone once they switched from private pay to Medicaid, that is exactly what they did!! I highly recommend staying away from this place no matter how hard they try to sell it! Do yourself and your loved ones a favor, find a place that has capable staffing and the ability to care for your loved one until end of life... this is not the place.. they only want your money, and when it's gone, then they will find any excuse to make your loved one move!!!!!
