From my initial contact through the first month, I cannot say enough about the staff at Bridges. I had an urgent situation develop that required me to move my Aunt into memory care over long distance. Wendy and Michelle stepped up to help in every area needed, and ensured that the initial transition went as smoothly as possible. I finally was able to visit, and complete my Aunt's personal property move, and was impressed with the warmth, cleanliness and design of the facility - it has a comfortable, homey feel. And the staff - every interaction was delightful, you all love what you do! I am so relieved that we have found such a wonderful and safe environment for this stage of my Aunt's life

Visited my Grandpa for Scarecrows and Cider event and it was amazing! The food was delicious and everything was so tastefully decorated. We both had a great time. I am so glad we picked Bridges by EPOCH for him!

If you try the food, you will be sold. The chef here (Shelly-Anne) is absolutely amazing. You won't find a tastier meal in any community anywhere. Wendy, Michelle, Amy, Cassandra, Jen, Sarah, Sherene, and the entire staff make it feel like home. A must see.

Outstanding Community Service! I attend a monthly outreach program offered by Bridges to family members and caregivers to those with cognitive issues. I have been going every 1st Wednesday since the start of the year and what I have learned has helped me cope with my daily care giving tasks more smoothly than before. Just hearing and sharing with others is so valuable, Bridges staff offer this without looking for anything in return. I can't thank them enough.

I have visited Bridges several times assisting my friend’s son transitioning his mother to her home. It is the most welcoming atmosphere with knowledgeable, caring, compassionate staff who are always available to answer questions. The activities are so fun and engaging for the residents. 5 stars!

I started my new journey at Bridges two weeks ago and in that short time I have met so many caring and compassionate people. Residents are truly happy and busy all day keeping their minds stimulated. I am very impressed by the dining services and food choices, the amazing activities, performers , and of course the great care staff and nurses.The enrichment offered is truly amazing and sets this place apart from so many because of this. Bridges community truly caters to those residents needing to be in a world of their own when reality is no longer valid for them. It is truly the residents home and I am grateful to be part of it.

First, some of the carers are very good. Others, not so much. Find a nonprofit place instead. If not, be prepared to visit daily in order to be sure that your loved one is getting the care that you expect. Be aware that they only do your loved one's laundry once weekly. They don't say they will do ALL of it. Laundry detergent is not dispensed properly, clothes may smell poopy or moldy. They are ONLY set up to take care of physical needs, NOT to engage, unless it is to take your loved one to a music or art session. Poor communication between staff. Inadequate number of staff to care for this population. High turnover. Experts in Alzheimer care do not help staff with daily issues. There are very good and nice people there, that will treat your loved one with care and respect. You will know who they are. However, profit comes first, IMO. Read. The. Contract.

Bridges by Epoch at Nashua is a wonderful place for your loved one to live. Their compassionate nurses and caregivers care for the residents as if they were their own family. They get to know each resident, personally. They learn what they like or don’t like, what makes them happy, what activities they enjoy doing, what foods they like, what they like to do in the evening before bed, to name a few. The wellness department plans activities designed to keep the residents engaged and happy. There is singing, dancing, exercising, arts and crafts, cooking and so much more. From the moment you walk into the front lobby and are greeted by a concierge until you leave, it is apparent that your loved one is being cared for as well as if done by yourself. If I had memory issues and needed to be taken care of by people other than my own family I would choose Bridges. It’s the best option when living at home is no longer a possibility.

I want to say how impressed I am with the Bridges staff in the Hollis residents house. A week or so ago my husband was sitting by the staff station doing nothing. I came in, sat down beside him and said my usual stuff to him. He continued to sit there not acknowledging much. Then all of a sudden this staff member came up to him and said Hi, my handsome John. Will you dance with me? She was singing and dancing and he got him self right up out of the chair and went along with her.(it was always like pulling teeth to get this guy to dance with me. I sure wish I knew back then what the Bridges staff had that I didn't). Then I realized, this young woman had just been moping the floor a few minutes prior. I am more apt to expect this from the care giving staff. She was amazing with my husband. She brightened his day and mine too. Then, this past Sunday, I was visiting when an aid came and said John, there is live music in the community room in a hour. I asked him if he wanted to go and he said yes. That hour or so that I spent with him in that room with the other residents made my WEEK! I recognized most of the others there and had been watching them for over a year now. As the singer sang songs I realized these people may not know their own names, but they knew every word to every 50’s & 60’s and he threw in a 40’s once or twice, songs. I listened to them all sing off key, me too, and clap their hands and tap their feet. When I left John, I had such a high. I couldn’t wait to tell my Alzheimer’s Support group the next day at our regular weekly meeting.
