To preface this; I own some group homes. It's a different demographic, but there's a lot of similar with care between what I do and what Parsons House does. I've also been in 'caring' professions for over 30 years. The first thing I noticed at Parsons House was how long people have worked there. The direct care staff turnover rate is low, and a lot of staff have worked there for a long time. THIS IS UNHEARD OF IN THIS FIELD. It's what I strive for in my own business, and it telling of a positive place to work, and greatly increases the quality of services due to the experience of the employees. My mom moved into Parsons House about a little over one year ago. The move was rocky. Her memory was pretty bad, and despite wanting to move, she kept forgetting. Parsons house was great with the move. They supported her, me and the rest of my family through this difficult time. Understandably, my mom did not want to lose her independence. While they do laundry for people there, they forwent their own protocols and allowed her to do her laundry, and as her abilities decline, they are helping her with this, but she's still doing it, herself. She wanted to continue to self administer her own medications. They completed an assessment for this and, again forwent their own protocols, she was administering her own meds, and they allowed me to use the pharmacy my company uses, which was great. As time went on, I (as medical POA) decided she couldn't self administer her medications. This transition has been difficult, not because of Parson's House, but because of the pharmacy they had been using. I'm not going to get into the logistics of this, but I'll just say the pharmacy messed up her billing and did not bill insurance, personally charging her. The pharmacy was not following through to fix the problem. This was not Parsons House's issue, but they wanted to help. I didn't think there was anything they could do, but one of the nurses called the pharmacy and...I have no idea how...got the pharmacy to start working on fixing the issue. They also mentioned they are looking at different options for pharmacies. I didn't ask them to do this, they just recognized an issue and were already processing a solution. Not only have they worked hard for the quality of services they provide for my mom, they have consistently gone well over what they were responsible for. At Parsons House they not only do what's needed, but what's right, which warms my heart.

I can't say enough about Parsons House! The staff have all been wonderful! From the Front desk, Management, Nursing staff, Wait staff and Maintenance. Parsons House assisted living community/memory care provides a welcoming environment, and it's encouraging to find out that they have longevity with their staff. Misty is wonderful to tour with and makes it a very personal experience. Parsons House delivers a beautiful, warm environment to call home and provides activities necessary to get everyone involved!

Moved my folks here last December. Care is very good, however, food is very unsatisfactory and when I communicate with staff they are largely UNRESPONSIVE.

We moved our Mom about 6 months ago and we couldn’t be happier. The staff is great, the facility is clean, they are very accommodating and they have a lot of activities . Tough move for our Mom but she has adjusted very well.

Overall a very delightful community! The staff is friendly and caring across the entire employee spectrum. Many of them have been employed here for years, which speaks volumes about the environment! My mother has been living at Parsons House for over a year and she has been very happy there. They hire well, from the nursing staff to the chefs to the management. It’s clean, the food is good, the staff friendly and professional. We have no complaints.

Parson's has been fabulous to work with. They were able to help us with extremely short notice and were completely accommodating to our short schedule. They walked us thru the process and made the transition as easy as possible for our family member. The care and responsiveness has been top notch. They are remodeling and the atmosphere is very bright and welcoming. Lots of activities are available for the residents to keep as busy as they want. Would highly recommend!

Finding a place to put your loved one is extremely hard. When I called Parsons house, I had no expectations. When I arrived, everyone had smiles and they were all very kind. Residents, staff and visitors alike. They have a secured facility with amenities for every type of person; Bingo, happy hour, yoga classes and more! They do a great job with special diets, and their chef goes out of his way to know the residents. My dad has really enjoyed his time there, so far. The staff keeps me up to date on his medical needs and many of them know me too. I am so happy I found Parsons house for my dad.

The entire staff is very caring and our family is very pleased with the care my Mom has received. I would recommend Parsons House to anyone. The room is cleaned once a week thorough and items in bathroom picked up multiple times throughout the week. The food is very good with many options. Laundry is done weekly and hung back up and put away. Medication/presciptions are done on time. The mgmt has accommodated our request in a timely manner and really helped us get in when our need was great.

This place is great! Atmosphere is tranquil and relaxing. The staff is exceptional, knowledgeable and really friendly. They know what theyre doing and what theyre talking about when it comes to high quality care. You can tell making the residents happy is their main priority. They have amazing fine dining. Their menu and food choices is like no other retirement living facility I have ever seen visited. The food is served fresh and hot just like in a restaurant setting that gives the residents the experience they would have dining in at one. Their dining room is equidistant with fine decor. I was able to sample from their menu and the food is exceptional. Best place I would choose to have my parents stay.

She knows everyones name and what activities her residents enjoy doing. When visiting Parsons House with their sales person, Heidi, she not only shows you the community but also introduces you to her staff and residents. You can sense the family focused community when you visit Parsons House.

When our mother couldnt return to her independent lifestyle we began searching for a place that mom could call home and receive the assistance that she needed. Omaha has several really nice places and choosing one seemed impossible until I saw Parsons House. It is has such a caring staff! The housekeepers, meal servers, maintenance workers, health aides and activity directors make every effort to provide for all the needs of our mom. The management here is professional and personable.It gives us peace of mind to see the way everyone at Parsons House works together to provide a home for so many loved ones. Mom has adjusted well to her new neighborhood and the rhythm of life here is perfect for her. Im thankful for the good communication with her caregivers and appreciative of all the hard work they each do every day to keep mom active and healthy. This House is an amazing place to call Home!

We moved our Mom in the last week of March and everything about Parsons house has been wonderful. We were really looking for a place with a caring staff willing and able to understand our Mom. We found it here. Everyone, nurses, aides, admistration, cafeteria workers, cleaning crew are helpful, friendly and kind. If they arent able to answer a question they find the right person for you. Mom keeps saying she loves the place and hasnt met anyone she doesnt like! We are so grateful! The bonus is its clean and the food is great! We highly recommend Parsons House.

Wonderful staff is taking care of my husband. His room is always cleaned and laundry carefully folded. Those little things done well surely speak to the importance of each resident. The meals are good and varied. Kevin takes special care of each persons dietary needs and is so friendly. We are so happy that we picked Parsons house.

I dont write a lot of reviews, but I felt compelled to let people know about the staff and facility at Parsons House because its such an important part of our family and I want everyone know how happy we are with the care and love at Parsons House.My father is 94 years old and he is as happy as Ive ever seen him. The staff at Parsons House consistently impresses me. The administration is always responsive and ready to help when I have questions or requests. The nursing staff is out of this world. The dining room staff and the rest of the facility staff do an amazing job taking care of everything to make the residents feel at home and special.It was a difficult decision when we decided my father needed assistance, and there are a lot of choices but I have never second guessed our decision on Parsons House. My fathers health and happiness are all thats important to me, and I always leave Parsons House believing they feel exactly the same way.

There are plenty of activities to keep everyone busy. I do not have anything bad to say about Parsons House. My parents transitioned to the Parson House after 50 years of being part of a community in northeast Nebraska. The staff at the Parson House went out of their way to make them feel welcomed and help them adjust to this life change. The PH staff encouraged them to engage in activities and get involved. They showed care and compassion at every turn of what could otherwise have been a difficult time. The staff is positive, professional, and dedicated to the care of the residents. We are very happy that we selected the Parson House!

We moved my mother to Parsons House 6 months ago. We could not be more pleased, the staff is amazing. They treat her with respect and compassion. They genuinely care about the residents it shows in the day to day care they receive. When I leave after a visit I know she is getting the best care available.
