I moved to Kinship Pointe 05/04/2024. I really like my apartment, the staff is topnotch, the residents are fantastic, the Amenities and services are great except for the food, very little food is prepared on site most is frozen or canned. I had better meals at my former home using frozen dinners. I was so looking forward to freshly prepared meals.

My aunt began residence at Kinship last fall in the assisted living section. We have been very happy with the facility. It is clean, comfortable, well-maintained and the staff has been very professional. The food is great and communication has been excellent.

We knew Kinship was going to be home to our grandmother when we first walked in. Staff is wonderful! They treat her like family and she adores them. She’s so happy there. They are so accommodating and will do whatever it takes. We love all the activities and events they host for the families.

It's always difficult to move a parent to Assisted Living, but Judy and Teresa made the transition smooth. my folks are doing well, eating so much better and I can relax knowing someone is watching them. A family member moved in recently, she chooses to stay home bound, but at least at Kinship we are confident she's safer. The staff are great I hear, she tells me about visiting with Judy and Elgin. They are there for her, I cant wait to visit everyone soon. thanks Kinship, we hear all about how great her apt is, and her friends visit her so easily.

Its been a difficult time convincing my mom that she needed more care. it's not that she was ready for a nursing home, we just thought she would benefit from having more folks around. it took us 6 months to convince her but Judy made it easy. Val and Judy both understood our issues and gave us suggestions for mom. she moved in and has blossomed. love seeing her going out to bible study again, playing cards and eating well! That server Susie is a hoot! Thanks everyone!!

Since my grandma moved in, she has been more social, eats better(she's a picky eater) and overall happier when I come to see her! She talks about how the staff are friendly. She even said they do fun activities that she enjoys doing. She loves living at Kinship!

My mother overheard the kitchen staff and she thinks it was the manager talking very rude to two CNAs about using a regular cup and not a plastic cup for some reason, very unprofessional. And the food it's not the greatest she says. It's supposed to be a nice loving place and she says servers don't have smiles on that often and I told her it's because of the masks but she says she can tell when they are and when they are not. She's told me great things about the CNAs, maintenance, and housekeeping.

We moved my father there in May of 2017 and have only wonderful things to say about Brookdale in McCook, Nebraska! The staff at Brookdale are kind, considerate, and caring. They went out of their way to accommodate my Dad's transition in every way possible. In fact I think he is still using a recliner that belongs to Brookdale! The facility is very clean, well maintained, and decorated brightly for the holidays. We could not have made a better choice for his Independent Living situation. He is very happy there and the staff all love him. Thanks, Brookdale!

I love working at Brookdale McCook! It's a beautiful community and the team is very compassionate and dedicated to the residents. After I learned more about Brookdale McCook, I couldn't have grandma and grandpa go anywhere else! Brookdale gave me the tools to get started in my position, as well as provided options for growth.
