Staff made the hardest decision of my life a little easier. My mom/best friend has been there for almost 4 months now. While each day is not easy for my mom I know the staff are well informed and capable of handling each situation that arises. I am there on a daily basis and have gotten very familiar with each staff member AND the residents. The staff are very attentive and caring with each resident, and if I see an issue it gets taken care of right away. Sure people can complain about other staff if they are having a bad time, but when it comes down to it everyone from the cooks to the caregivers -gives everything they've got to the residents. I am truely THANKFUL for each and every one!

My mom was moved there about a month ago. I have not met one staff member who I haven't liked! Everyone has been so helpful with my mom's transition, which has not been easy! They are always there to help her or help me!!! As this has also been hard for me! Facility is very nice and very clean. I am thankful we found Cedar Creek and am very grateful for all they do for my sweet (not always ) mom

My mother was there for her many stages of care. She was taken care of by the most compassionate people. This was the second place we had for her, and ultimately the last. The food was homemade with care. I was amazed . My mother passed away there , and the support we recieved during that process brings me to tears now. It was also not as expensive as the place we were before, and better for my mom.

I have had the opportunity to eat with my family and the food is all homemade and delicious. The care teams and administration are friendly and truly love their residents. Communication with families is stellar. So glad I found this “gem” for my loved ones!

The staff is wonderful, and I love all the residents!
September 2021
The residents here are amazing. Despite coming here to work to understand more about alzheimers due to my family member having it. I have grown to love the work place and residents. They will talk with you, and smile after awhile they warm a spot in your heart. Getting to know them now makes me wish I met them sooner, but family stories make up for the time unknown. The facility is shaped like a "P" so it will not be easy to get lost. The middle court yard has a fountain and spaces to sit and enjoy the view. Our back court yard is very big and has spots to sit as well. Our facility has a activity room, and two t.v. rooms for residents to enjoy. We are a secure facility. Families had birthday parties here with their loved ones in the past, and we have activities going on to keep residents busy. Our current staff is doing a really excellent job in trying to assist residents in ADLs and keep them busy with fun things to do. The coworkers do a great job in caring and being supportive to the residents and each other.

August 2020
Our mother moved into High Plains on March 15th, right when Covid-19 was causing closures and quarantines. Of course we worried about her settling in when we couldnt even come in and help her. Thankfully, the entire staff at High Plains assisted our mother and made her transition an easy one. They are all so helpful and compassionate, and they made her feel comfortable and accepted from day one! We are so appreciative of the dedication of the staff keeping our mother safe, happy, and loved. At High Plains, they schedule many fun and inclusive activities and events which our mother is greatly enjoying. Even though we cant see her right now, we can hear in her voice just how happy and content she is! We feel she is in amazing hands and getting outstanding care! We couldnt be happier with our decision to move our mother to High Plains!

My sister has several health issues. The most cruel is Lewy Bodies Dementia. This is such a devastatingly sad diagnosis. I am so grateful her family has chosen such a lovely place for her. High Plains is aesthetically pleasing which I know my sister appreciates. The caregivers are also kind and warm-hearted. Sis laughs and jokes with them like old friends. During one visit we joined her for lunch which was balanced and satisfying, with special attention paid to Siss diabetes. I paid attention to not just Siss care, but to the care given to others living there. I was impressed by the patience and gentleness of the caregivers and their diligence in checking on her. She falls a lot. If I ever need a facility of this type, I only hope I find one as nice.

My mother is a resident at Hi Plains Alzheimers facility. I can only go by my experience, and from what I can tell, this is a very well run and offers superior care for all residents. The care providers are dealing with memory loss patients, a very difficult thing to do. From my experience visiting my mother, it appears to me that she where she needs to be in regard to her health.
