The staff are attentive and caring. The Memory Unit individualizes my mother’s care- the staff knows her habits, and likes and dislikes. They did a lovely job setting up for my mother’s birthday celebration. I appreciate their caring so much!

Our family is so happy to have our loved one at the Kensington. There is great care, clean, lots of personal attention, we appreciate the staff especially Meghan, Sissy and Levi. When we are visiting they make us all feel like family.

My grandma was really on the fence about leaving her home, but the staff and leadership at the Kensington have really made her at home since she has moved in. She has been able to maintain her independence with their support. She still goes out with family a lot. She loves all the activities and entertainment they offer. And she really loves her apartment. This is the perfect home for her.

My wife has been living at the Kensington Evergreen Court memory care for over four months and it would be hard to exaggerate what a wonderful place this is. The staff as far as I can see takes care of everyone with love and skill. I try to have lunch and dinner with my wife every day and the food is excellent. The Kensington is housed in the old and beautifully maintained Clark Hotel built in about 1917 with all its old brass, marble and near 40 foot ceiling in the main dining room which is certainly worth a Google. I highly recommend the Kensington for assisted living or memory care

I come to the Kensington quite often to visit my sister. Every time I have been here it has been a most positive experience. Everyone is treated with dignity and respect. Everyone is happy and is attended to promptly. I would highly recommend Kensington to anyone who is looking for memory care or assisted living.

All the staff is compassionate too all residents. They really care if they see something out of the normal they contact me. Getting my brother to and from appointments is outstanding. They do lots of great outings to keep them mobile and active in the community. Love that they have a Bible study. Food is outstanding. If I have a question they will answer it and if they don't have the answer they find someone who can address it. I'm very pleased we chose The Kensington. Most of all my brother is very happy.

Mom my was a resident at the Kensington on Evergreen Court (memory care) for three years until her passing. The staff did an amazing job caring for my mother. They are extremely kind and caring and could always find a way to soothe her even when she was having a difficult day.

My mother has lived at the Kensington for several years since she had a moderate stroke and had to give up her apartment and her car. That was a difficult adjustment for her as she was and still is very interested in life. The Kensington helped her adjust with their music programs and constant activities. After awhile she was once again running around like crazy participating and making friends. When it became apparent she was going to need hospice we were joyful to find out the Kensington partners with hospice at Mary Lanning Hospital. We don't know what the future holds for mom, but we know she is being treated lovingly and respectfully. I know this for a fact as I slept in her room for 10 days. The staff even brought food for me to her room if we couldn't get downstairs. I could not be more grateful for the tender care my mother receives at the Kensington.

My father in law and my father were both here and enjoyed it greatly. People treat you like family here. It’s a great place to be . You no longer have to worry about them being alone any longer. The nursing department is great and so is the activities!

My grandmother lived there, years ago, and I know it's still a great place. Even though she was only there for two years before she passed away, the experience changed her for the better. I think she tried more new things, learned more, and made more new friends in that time than in the previous 20 years. It surprised our whole family.
