Four months ago I made the decision to move my mother from KC to Grand Island and into Country House. I could not be any happier with this decision. Country House doesn’t just fill time with busy activities they create moments day after day. The residents live within a family type atmosphere and the employees are genuinely desiring to serve, help and love the residents. My mother has improved in many ways over the last 4 months! I have highly recommended Country House to anyone who will listen.

The staff is amazing! They truely care for the residents. They are constantly having entertainment brought you, taking them on field trips, having them help make gifts and crafts. They take them out for walks and for exercise. They do an amazing job of improving the quality of life for their residents. They make each residents birthday special. They take pictures and share constantly with the residents families. If your loved one has to be in a facitilty, this is the kind of place where you hope they can be. I do not have enough good things to say about the facilty AND the staff!!

Being in a health care field you see many Assisted Living- Nursing homes and Country House is one of the top facilities I have been in with amazing staff, residents who are very well taken care of and a joy to be around, along with a very clean and welcoming feeling of being at home when you walk through the doors. Country House cares very deeply for their residents with all the activities, trips, and community involvement that they provide and my children love going there and participating in all the gatherings that they offer for the community and families. Keep it up Country House!!

I think this place is just great. My mother has been in there almost a year now and they always take really good care of her and all the other patients. I love all of the activities that they have even though mom cant enjoy them all it is just wonderful what they do for the patients . The staff always seem to be very happy with smiles on their faces and they are a joy to be around . They are very accommodating to us around the holidays and try to make it very special for all the patients . I really enjoyed being able to go to the website and see pictures of all the things that they do . That is also a great help for my siblings that live a long ways away and dont get here often to see mom .

I have worked here at CH for 4 years. I absolutely love my job! I finally feel my job isnt just a CNA ,MA. Here at CH it has become family. I am very lucky to work here, It is a beautiful home, I enjoy the residence, staff and also enjoy taking care of the cleaning, when you love your job you want everything to be perfect. Who wouldnt want to take care of such a beautiful home with awesome staff, and lovely residence... Oh and Nicole, Brenda, Amber, and April always are there for the residence and staff no matter what any of us would need, their office is always open.

Mom has been a resident of Country House for two years now. There are not enough words to describe how thankful we are that she is in such a fine care facility that knows her individual needs and is willing to adjust what she needs to make her more comfortable. I have dealt with the staff at Countryhouse, Grand Island for some time and have found every person, from Nicole on down, to be genuinely caring and respectful in the way they have treated my mother. The facility is always clean and orderly and doesnt have any of the offensive smells that are all too often present in other facilities I have encountered . What a privilege it is to live in a community that has such a great facility as Countryhouse when a loved one needs a higher level of care!

The staff Interact with the residents one on one or in a group setting. There is always entertainment such as music events and pet therapy. They take them out of the facility on safe and secure bus outings. The residents are always clean. It is a open and lit environment. Staff are kind, knowledgeable and professional. Staff will sit down and eat with the residents as if they were in their own home.

My mother was a resident of the facility for several years and it was a fantastic experience! When it comes time to place a loved one into a care facility, it is daunting and flat out scary. CountryHouse made the experience as smooth and offered the peace of mind that my mother would receive the care she required. Every individual cares for each resident as though they were a family member of their own. They understand in ways I wouldve never imagined, from my own perspective as a son. They made this time so much easier, helped me understand what my mother was facing and put our entire family at peace! We are indebted to Nicole and her team!
