My mom is 90. She moved into Marquis Place 7 months ago. Since then she has improved. She moved in and didn’t participate in anything. Now she won’t miss dinner and she takes the bus trips. In house physical therapy is great. I’m glad we found M. P.

Staff was very helpful and friendly in assisting us around. I felt welcomed by both the staff and residents. The staff educated us on our residents and told us how they care for them. The facility was clean and well-taken care of. Residents were safe, great facility.

Front desk staff was extremely helpful and was able to pull any staff we needed to see during my home visit there as part of nursing clinical! Med aide was very accommodating even with her busy schedule and the place is kept nice/neat with home-like vibe!

It looks like the place is well kept. The receptionist at the door was very kind and was on top of what she needed to do for anyone new coming in. She was also very helpful on telling us where to go and how to get there. There are also quite a few opportunities for the clients living there to stay clean and groomed. Overall, it seemed like a nice place.

I love working at Marquis Place ❤. I have been there since 2010. One thing that resonates thru each day, year and changes is the fact that we are a family. The administration and staff care and truly try to meet the needs of our Residents. I love working at Marquis Place. I work with the best people they are my second family. The Executive Director is really caring about her employees and helps teach them to be the best they can be. All the employees has so much care and compassion for the residents and they go above and beyond!

I rent a studio at Salon Z have been there 11 yrs. I was contacted by a friend to see if I would be interested in doing hair in the salon at Marquis Place. I went and interviewed. Marquis Place worked with me on my days so I could take the job. I have been working in the salon for 3 yrs. I love it!! I love the residents they make my day with all of there stories. I keep busy but I like to try to get to some of the fun activities that are going on when Im there. Activity goals keep it fun the residents always something fun going on. The staff is wonderful!! The management very good!! Food all home cooked and is amazing!! Very clean all updated. All in all great place to work and a great place to put your loved ones!!

I have visited Marquis Place numerous times over the years. My group visits regularly in order to honor veterans living at the facility. Marquis Place is clean and well maintained. I have found the staff to be extremely caring and friendly. They run an outstanding facility!

After careful and thorough research, I selected the Marquis Place for Mom as I determined that it was a good fit for her based on its residential location, ground-level living, 24-7 staffing, parking availability, clean and well-maintained apartments, spacious (updated) dining room (Mom says the food is just like I had at home, managements open-door policy for residents and family, a secluded courtyard and secure entrances-exits, services that are based on a residents needs, friendly staff and management, and its excellent State licensure status. Management and staff encourage my unscheduled and scheduled visits. There are also indoor and offsite activities for residents and families (potluck dinners) holiday parties, guest entertainers, Sunday services, Marquis Place management maintains upgrades to the parking area and dining room. Staff is attentive to residents needs and they contact me if there are issues and questions. They also provide free transportation for Mom to medical visits. I especially appreciate the convenience of having onsite annual flu shots, regular podiatry services, prescription services and dental visits. They even have a part-time beautician. Assisted and Memory Care are units in separate areas under one roof.

I am a Physical Therapist with Genesis Rehab Services, and I have worked at Marquis Place of Elkhorn for over 5 years. What a GREAT opportunity Marquis has utilized to allow a Rehab Company to be onsite full time. The interaction we have with family and staff allows residents to achieve their goals, maintain their highest function, and optimize their strength and balance throughout the years they are here! The consistent interaction with staff and nursing helps all residents be the best they can be and enjoy life to its fullest at Marquis!

My loved one has recently made the move into this community and so far everything is going well for her. The staff have been fantastic to work with and I am comfortable with the care they are providing. They are attentive to her needs and make sure she is satisfied in her new living environment. She has been making her way down to the dinning room to enjoy some of the meals with the other residents as well as participating in some of the activities. Overall we are happy and would recommend it to anyone.

We heard about this property through A Place for Mom and from what we heard about it we thought it was wonderful. They staff team is fine; everybody is friendly and cordial with my loved one and I. The food is excellent there. Its a home cooked type style which we were impressed by that. The only complaint that my loved one had is that they served cold plates under hot food. So upon request, they are able to warm my loved ones plate. There is a woman that is charge of all the activities provided and they offer a lot. It would be able to keep my loved one very busy and active. The other residents there are friendly as well. My loved one has made a friend and they sit together during meals. One major drawback I would say is that during their sales meeting prior to signing the contract I felt that they over saw a piece of information that concerns with their residents must live at Marquis Place for 2 years until they could apply for Medicaid policy. We were not aware of that until we signed the contract. If not for this issue I would recommend Marquis Place to others.

My mother-in-law is here currently and everything is going well so far. The place is very nice and the staff is great and theyre very easy to communicate with. Theyve honored any requests that weve had and weve just had a good experience. Were up there all the time to eat and the food is very large in portions, sometimes more than the other residents can eat, but it looks good and it tastes good. They provide good activities like card games, there was a Husker party, and thereve been a few cheese tasting parties too. They seem to be keeping on top of everything cleanliness wise and its always pretty clean when were there. I liked it because its a bit smaller and I dont think my mother-in-law is able to get lost in the building. Ultimately we decided on this place because its very convenient to where we live and there was an opening right away.

My sister has recently made the move into this community and has adjusted really well to her new living environment. The girls that work there are absolutely wonderful and I could not ask for a better group of people to care for her. I am pleased to see that every time I go to visit the property is very clean and always nicely maintained for all of the residents. The food is also excellent as well as many of the activities they have going on throughout the day. Overall we are very pleased and would highly recommend it to anyone.
