We put our dad here as it is very beautiful and Chris sold us on her presentation. Once dad moved in to Betty's Harbor we realized we were lied to about the outstanding care he was to receive. For the most part the staff didn’t care and were very dismissive to our concerns. The standard line, "It's not my job," was used often. Staff would disappear for long periods of time and hide in the un-opened section of Betty's Harbor. Dad was not getting showered on his shower days, meds were inconsistent, he was not changed when needed, the residents were left to sit for hours in front of a tv. All the activities we were promised never happened. We took our complaints to the top and were dismissed with excuses. We had to hire a nurse to go in during the days to be with dad and put cameras in his room. This place is horrible and I am glad we got dad out.

I enjoy going to the bistro and interacting with other residents. I am able to get all three meals here during the day. There are a lot of people that help with technology issues that arise. There are quite a few activities that take place here, but it's nice being able to choose which ones you want to participate in. I enjoy going to Happy Hour, especially on days where there are entertainers here. I am able to go to church services here Sunday mornings and hymn sing. All the residents here are friendly and it's nice meeting new residents that move in. It's nice being able to go on the community bus to go to different outings, especially to Walmart.

My parents are residents at this facility/Company headquarters are near Chicago, IL with main staff located at Illinois facility/They need to have better staff at West Fargo location who can better assist/answer questions as most don't know their job responsibilities very well.

When researching senior options for my 90+ year old mother who is on excellent health, Kris Packer was beyond patient, helpful and kind. We did not feel pressured as mom wrestled with the decision to leave her home town and the house she has lived in for 68 years. Kris patiently and clearly responded to every question we had. Even though mom decided not to move there now, Kris was gracious and supportive of the fact that mom made the decision that is right for her at this time.

Mom and dad spent 50 years on the farm and the thought of getting them talked into an Independent living facility kept me awake at night. We toured four facilities in the FM area and within days they decided it was time and they chose New Perspective. Its been one month and they are extremely happy so far. Rachael at the front desk has even helped mom get her first ever cell phone up and running

Hello! My name is Abdullahi, I am an employee at New Perspective senior living. My job title is a server at the kitchen, near the future I will be transforming into a cooker. I just want too say that all of my upcoming experiences at New Perspective have been a positive ones. I really enjoy my job and the people that I work with. My managers are very nice and they really care about their employees and the Residents. Also the Residents Are wonderful people and they remind a lot like my parents and of course I treat them the way I treat my parents with respect and dignity. The courtesy of the staff, they are very polite. The food is good. The activities they plan are great. I like to exercise in the warm water pool and do the chair yoga, and enjoy the live music and bingo is fun too. I also appreciate the bible study too.

I was so impressed with the choices in living arrangements, one or two bedrooms, as well as a studio apartment. The other in house amenities such as a library, warm water swimming pool, extra little places to socialize and have fun with other residents and family members, included a liittle pub, and cafe, as well as large meeting rooms. The food was wonderful. I cant say enough about this wonderful option for seniors.

My mother lives at New Perspectives Senior Living in the Betty Habor Unit. She has Alzheimers and we could not be happier! We recently held her 90 th Birthday party there and had a program, dinner and dance. What a wonderful event! The chef James DeHann and staff prepared a meal that was fit for our queen and all along the way of planning this event they were with us to the final details. Over 75 guests were served. If you have a loved one and are in searching for a place like home with individual care, I suggest you check them out. Thank you New Perspectives Team for making this day fun filled! When he was presented with the different living options in the area he chose New Perspective based on all the activities they provide. My mom moved into New Perspective Senior Living, West Fargo a little over a year ago. She resides in Bettys Harbor memory care as she has Alzheimers disease. Her Alzheimers will never get better but we can make her journey more comfortable, more reassuring & happy!…NPSL is a key component in helping us do this! We recently celebrated my moms 90th Birthday with a FULL party with her friends & family. NPSL couldnt have been more accommodating in the party plans as well as the day of the party! The executive chef at NPSL; James, made a dinner buffet that was second to none! All our guests couldnt believe how good & tasty the food was! The staff was there to help with everything...refill coffee pot, cups, punch, getting more utensils & plates when needed, then helping with clean up too! We even had a band & dance in NPSLs wonderful dance room....moms favorite activity! Some of our friends wanted a tour of the facility so we showed them around...the swimming pool, the phy therapy room, the spacious memory care area(Bettys Harbor), the dining, the deli, the chapel room, etc! Thank you New Perspective Senior Living West Fargo...you are loving my mom, and you helped create a wonderful day for her 90th Birthday!
