My wife have been there for 1yr. & 4 months. They assisted her to brush her teeth twice. They are not consistent giving her 3 baths a week, making her bed, putting her cloths on, washing her cloths,, helping her get dressed and encouraging her to participate in activies. The director and nurse don't want to communicate and return phone calls. My wife say she cries every night. I am beginning to think it is because she is a person of color. I pay over $6,000.00 a month out of pocket and I am sure they all gets paiid on pay day, but I don't get any discount for them not doing there job. They also wants to increase your price. It is like they are scaming me to do a job they promis to do, but they are not delivering on but still wants to be paid.

For Parkwood Village only: No, I absolutely do not recommend. While the kitchen and dining staff were so nice and accommodating, the important day-to-day care and end-of-life care fell shockingly short. Only one nursing assistant out of many was on the ball. Although the sales pitch was persuasive, one red flag should have been that the manager/director of the facility never came out of the office to meet our mother or us even though we visited a few times before moving our mother in and visited frequently during our mother's stay before she passed away at PV. Thank Goodness for the Hospice nurses and the Hospice doctor coming in to provide care and guidance during our mother's last days. I would recommend finding another care facility for your loved one.

Today I did a virtual tour with Leigh Ann. She had expert knowledge of the the entire tour. The unit we visited was spacious and the amenities were very welcoming. There were also several activities in which a person could become involved. When looking to move into an independent living community, this is certainly a great place to consider.

I had the opportunity recently to speak with the sales director and take a tour. I expected typical senior living facility, but left feeling like I had been to a luxurious resort. I was impressed with their attention to detail and professionalism. They are currently at the top of my list for consideration.

Our family member is a picky eater and the staff in the dining room bent over backwards to try and find something Mrs. P. would eat. When she finally decided to eat their delicious eggs and bacon, Quinton Branson came through with flying colors. He, like the other dining room service people, provided service with a smile.
