My brother had a stroke in January and after a long stay at a rehab hospital it was time to find an assisted living! I highly recommend Walnut Ridge Assisted Living in Walnut Cove! Outstanding staff!!! So nice and homey much like home should be! Thank you Walnut Cove for taking such good care of my brother as he continues to recover!

Came to visit our mother, grandmother and great grandmother. As a nurse and director, I am so happy she is here. The staff were exceptional. Warm greetings, attentive, and always willing to talk and inform the family of any progress or problems. Her room was beautiful and I love that they encourage socializing with the other residents. I’ve seen many assisted living facilities but I was throughly impressed. Our grandma seems adjusted and comfortable.

The times I have visited the facility it smelled clean, appeared well organized and had a comfortable atmosphere. The people I spent time with seemed well adjusted and content with their surroundings. The staff was familiar with who and where each tenant was. There is a check in and out. I have no complaints at this time.

There is no place like home, but Walnut Ridge is the next best thing. My mom has been there almost a month and everyone treats her like family. If you have a loved one looking for the care they need you should call and take a tour.

We have three dear friends currently at Walnut Ridge. It’s comforting to see them settle into a home-like environment. Life doesn’t always give us what we want but it does offer alternatives. We appreciate each measure of comfort and care they provide.

My mom moved to Walnut Ridge in February of this year. She acts and feels better than she has in years. The staff has been very helpful and supportive and genuinely cares for moms well being.

The resident care at Walnut Ridge Assisted Living is beyond amazing!! We never worry about Daddy because we know the team members treat him like their family!!! They have keep us updated on what is going on and they go above and beyond with sending us pictures!!

Went to visit patient at Walnut Ridde Assistated Living and was very upset in condition I found the patient I was visiting. I am retired and have worked at hospital 42 years and never found seen this manner before. Nurses and staff in front lacking on checking on their patients they are getting paid to take are of. Shame on this site and condition I found this patient. I got help to assist me in helping clean and change this patient. I do not advise anyone unless they have someone close to check daily on a patient to be placed here. My rating for this Walnut Ridge Assisted Living is 1 out of top rating of 5. ⭐

My mother is doing very well here at Walnut Ridge. She had just turned 99 years old so it was getting to that time to put her somewhere. My mother enjoys the many interactions with more people, she loves the activities that she participates in, and the staff team takes good care of her. I was worried at the beginning, but honestly this was the best thing that I could have done. My mother gets three meals a day and she loves the food there. She has a prescription for one medication and they help administering it to her regularly. She receives assistance about three times a week for her bathing and she loves it because it makes her feel better. She has a small private room so she has her independence and privacy, but someone is occasionally checking in on her making sure that she is OK. She is very happy here which makes me happy. The location is very convenient as well because it is about five minutes away from my sister and I. I just feel so appreciative for the care that she gets.

I am so pleased we found this community it was a such a good choice. My dad is very happy there he really likes it. The location is just perfect for people to visit. The staff is wonderful very friendly they take their time with the residents and families they are very interactive with the residents. The food is fine here. I really have the piece of mind knowing that he is here and he is being taken care so well.

Walnut Ridge Assisted Living is beautiful and very clean. It is a place I would like to go if I was ready to go. They do have activities and everybody looks very happy.
