I visited this facility numerous times to be sure that it would be a good fit and it surely is. I just love being here: the staff, the other residents, the activities... all are great. Adjusting to a 1- room studio w/bath from a 3 BR ranch with 2 full baths, and lots of closets was a bit of an adjustment at first but I love everything about being here. It's

My Mother in Law has been in the facility for about 6 months now. She was reluctant, however she is now very comfortable now. She is now an ambassador to new residents. Wilson and all of his staff are very caring.

My family member has been at Brookdale for over 4 years. We all have concerns about our loved ones. If I ever have a concern, I just get in touch with the administrator, Andrew, and he helps me with it. I can't begin to tell you what a comfort that is - to know I can go to someone and my concern will be taken care of. I am very thankful for Brookdale, Smithfield NC, and for all the staff and people there.

My mother, Grace Jones, stayed at Brookdale a little over 3 years. We had a very positive experience there. Management and staff were very professional and courteous. The staff who spent time with my mom, treated her with love and compassion. I will forever remember the relationships we had with all of the caretakers. We will miss all of you, but once this virus is over, I plan to visit you all again. Thank you again for your love, support, kindness, and caring. You will never be forgotten!
