I worked here and the place isn't bad at all . The residents are well taken care of . The staff is professional for the most part . The building is nice and clean . The Nurses and CNAs are wonderful .

My mom is a resident at the Shelby location on hall 100. Weekend head nurse and weekend staff are very rude to residents and visitors. They lie about giving pain meds. I've been there when Mom had needed changed and I have had to walk out to the desk and tell them that Mom's been waiting x amount of time and I've gotten an eye roll or a deep sigh.

My opinion is the staff is lazy and don't care of the elderly the way they should! They ignore them and close the door to their room when they don't want to listen to them!

My 93 year old mother spent 16 days at White Oak for a fractured pelvis and she had the best experience. She loved her nurses and rehab people. She absolutely loved the food!! She came home happy and healthy. Thank you to the staff for taking such good care of my mom.
