When I first made the decision to move my family member to this facility, she was adamant that she was not going to like it, she wasn’t going to be happy and the care was going to be poor. The very next day, she told me how she had gone to the dining hall to eat, the staff checked on her frequently, and she was comfortable being there. Fast forward 3 months later and she is more vibrant, doing things within the community, making new friends, laughing, and enjoying her new home. Best decision I could have made.

Two weeks ago when our family member moved into Brookdale New Bern, we found the staff to be very friendly and helpful. Since then they have readily responded to our questions and have come up with solutions. Our family is pleased with how the Brookdale New Bern staff demonstrates a commitment to the health and well-being of all of their residents.

The staff at Brookdale did a great job helping my uncle feel comfortable and safe when he moved in last week. The facility is clean and up to date. The dining area is spacious and reports have it that the food is fabulous. Thanks for the best welcome!
