The most important thing to me is that the ED, Amy, keeps a tight watch on operations to ensure things are running smoothly day-to-day. This is why the staff of CNAs and Medtechs are well-trained, friendly and diligent (NOT on their phones). If you have a loved one considering a move to Memory Care or Assisted Living in or near Mooresville, I highly recommend visiting Cadence Mooresville.

Cadence Mooresville is such a welcoming community! We recently came in for a tour and had a great experience. Amy Newman, the Executive Director, was incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and clearly passionate about what she does. She took the time to walk us through the community, answer all of our questions, and really explain how they care for and support their residents. You can tell she truly cares about the people who live there and takes pride in the community she leads. The staff were all so welcoming and kind, which really stood out. Everyone we passed greeted us and made the environment feel warm and inviting.

If you are looking for a place for a loved one to be taken care of, loved and feel like home then this is the place. Cadence of Mooresville made my loved one feel like they were at home. It all starts with their amazing Executive Director Amy Newman, who takes a hands on approach with the care of my loved one. She always is around for questions and gives direct and most improtanly honest answers. Even when i didnt want to beleive how my loved one was doing, i respected the honesty because in the end it was what was best for them and made them happy. Her staff is amazing from the everyday care takers to her leadership team. They are always around to ensure the utmost care and attention to detail is followed. Such a diverse group of people that brings such joy to the community. I always enjoyed walking in and being greeted by someone whether it was the concierge or her business office manger, Nicole. Had plenty of conversations with her to ensure everything was taken care of so that my loved ones care never faltered. I cant speak enough of this place and how well my loved one was cared for that i would highly recommend them for anyone looking for a place for a loved one to call home.

My goal in looking for a senior community, specifically memory care, was to find a community that is engaging, kind and felt like home. Cadence is the only community that not only checked all of those boxes but also has management with care team experience. They value the benefits of music, interaction, outings and celebrations and do they celebrate !!! Cadence feels like a house vs a business with separate spaces for the residents to wander and choose how they want to spend their time such as the art room, music room, media room, etc. The staff are loving, actually kind to each other which creates a nice environment and want the best for the residents. My family member came in during a memory care director transition. The new director is bright eyed, eager, adored by the residents and goes above and beyond to make their daily experiences engaging. That energy flows through the rest of the care team. There is no replacement for home and no community is perfect for everyone. But there is not another community in the Lake Norman area that competes with Cadence Mooresville.

We brought my wife to Memory Care at Cadence in Mooresville in July of 2025. From the time we arrived until the present we have been treated with the utmost respect and genuine concern for our loved one and for our family. The staff has been remarkable in their care for my wife and has gone the extra mile many times. With Amy Newman as administrator and Madeline Yerger as Memory Care director, there is no other place that I would rather have my wife. They, and the entire staff, are committed to caring for all the residents entrusted to their care. I would highly recommend to anyone in search of a facility for a loved one to reach out to Cadence and allow them to demonstrate what is offered here.

Took a tour looking for a place for our 90+ old parents. We were very impressed, so much so, that's where we've decided as a family, that's going to be their new home. Josh has been great. Follow-up has been great. He definitely has a calling and a heart for helping people.

Choosing a place for your loved one when they can no longer live alone is emotionally challenging and difficult. Finding a balance for where you know they will be happy and that their current and future care needs can be met is daunting. I can say that after touring 25 communities and researching an additional 15 others, Cadence Mooresville is the only one that checked all of my essential criteria of quality and location, supporting my Dads care needs, tenured caring staff, safe environment, and honestly being able to manage me through it all. A special thank you to Josh Bullaro who was (and continues to be) on point for initial interaction, touring, questions, pretty much any and all things! This community is one of a kind! My Dad has been there for 6 months, is happy and tells me that everyone there loves him. And having seen it firsthand, I think that they really do!

I went to do a tour and was very impressed. The staff were all very welcoming. Everything was explained in detail. The facility was very clean, and maintained well. They had lots of activities for the residents. It truly felt like a home environment.

Cadence in Moorsville has thus far been one of the best assisted living facilities, if not the best, we have encountered in our search for a place for my father-in-law. And we saw a lot of them. The other places I could walk around, and nobody really even attempted to engage me. At Cadence, wherever I turned as I was visiting and moving my father-in-law, the staff would all greet me and inquire if I needed assistance. And Josh, one of the directors there, is amazing. Always present, accessible, communicative, and willing to help us. He goes the extra mile. In fact, he just saved me a trip through lunchtime traffic and stepped in to help my father-in-law jump on WIFI!

I love Cadence Mooresville and think they are a great senior living option for so many families! The community always feels warm and vibrant when I’m there and the staff, especially Josh Bullaro in their Marketing office, are wonderful. My mother is extremely happy here. The staff is very caring and attentive. Amy and Josh are always there for you. She was in independent living prior with really subpar food. She is really enjoying the meals at Cadence and I haven't heard one complaint. She loves the live entertainment. Overall a great experience for her.

I'm sad for my family member that there is a wait list but extremely happy for the residents there. Josh has gone above and beyond helping me navigate getting my uncle relocated to Mooresville from Maryland. I've dealt with assisted living and long term care facilities and by far Cadence would be my go to if they had availability.

My father in law has lived here for just over a year. He is very well taken care of. He isn't very social but there is lots of activities and things going on to take part in, they are always improving the property, and it's always clean when we go. The staff are friendly and happy to answer questions. We enjoy that he is comfortable and safe and being well taken care of

This review is long but needs to be to understand my experiences with assisted living facilities. My mom was on the waitlist for Cadence for a year when I moved her to NC from another assisted living facility out of state. My mom had been happy there and very active but I needed her close to me after my dad passed away. We had to settle on another place in Mooresville, NC where she had also been on a waitlist in order for her to be able to move. I had truly hoped it would work out as it "appeared" they were geared for what my mom would need. Unfortunately the place I moved her to was not a good fit for many reasons. The amazing part is that Josh from Cadence kept in touch and kept me apprised of where my mom was on the list. He in no way pushed for me to stay on the list but was super awesome about keeping her on there and letting me know when it moved knowing fully that if my mom was happy at the time her name came up we may not move as that was the last thing I wanted to do to her. My biggest concern at the other place was her lack of involvement in activities that she had loved at the place in Indiana. The activities were just not something that seemed to fit what people at my mom's age would be able to handle. I made the very difficult decision when her name came up that I would move her as nothing changed where she currently lived after numerous meetings. This was hands down the best decision I have made on my mom's behalf. Her involvement in activities began the very day she moved in and hasn't stopped. The staff at Cadence told me it was their job to get my mom out and involved and they have followed through on every promise they made. I no longer have to worry that my mom is sitting in front of her tv day in and day out. I get to see on a daily basis what she's doing through an app they provide for families. The people at Cadence genuinely work hard at making every day a great day for their residents, from the office staff right down to the maintenance people. If I could give more than 5 stars, I would.

We moved my mother here from another assisted living facility in the area. Cadence Mooresville is wonderful and is extremely well managed by the executive director. Superior staff who are not only respectful of the residents but who take excellent care of them. Activities director always has fun things planned for them every day. Arts and crafts, outings, cooking club, gardening, board games, etc. Family nights are always so fun with everyone being involved. Can not say enough great things about Cadence Mooresville. Extremely happy and so is my mom.

My father recently passed away after residing in memory care at Cadence Mooresville for a little over a year. He could not have been more loved or cared for. Our family is so thankful. My mom has been a resident of Cadence-Mooresville for over a year. The staff has been welcoming and helpful from the start of her stay and continues to be supportive. Cadence has a friendly and kind atmosphere with engaging activities in an intimate setting. Everyone from the nurses and office staff knows everyone. They respond quickly to our needs and we couldn’t be happier with the care my mom receives from them!

I visited many assisted living places in the Charlotte area, but when I walked into Cadence there was a positive atmosphere that I had not experienced any place else. The staff is phenomenal, welcoming at all times, and makes each resident feel known and cared for. My parents both had to adjust to an assisted living environment when they could no longer live on their own, but the caring staff has made that adjustment smoother than we could ever have anticipated or imagined.

I brought my mom to Cadence of Mooresville after she could no longer reside in an an independent living facility. She requires an environment where she receives a more interactive and personalized attention due to her advanced age. At Cadence of Mooresville she receives that attention to both her physical and medicinal needs. The staff at Cadence of Mooresville are exceptional in every aspect of individualized care. The staff are extremely professional and temper that professionalism with kindness, concern, consideration while also incorporating a human aspect so necessary to nurture a comfortable and secure environment. I am trying hard to keep my mom in an environment where she can maintain as much independence as possible while receiving necessary assistance and still maintain her dignity. Cadence of Mooresville makes this objective possible. As a family member, having my mom residing at Cadence of Mooresville alleviates a majority of the stress and concerns associated with the responsibilities of being charged with the care of a loved one in their senior years.

My husbands sister has been in Cadence asst living in mooresville NC since May 2021. Very caring and always on top of everything. Very clean environment . Wonderful nurses , aids , and many stimulating activities. ( we had looked at about 6 other assisted living centers & this place was the absolute best for her needs ) Special thanks to Megan Lily who has always been there for us with any questions during this journey with sister in law dimentia .

Cadence takes care of our loved one and has since mid-August. He loves the food and socializing with the other residents. The staff makes you feel so at home and they are always professional with big smiles. The medical staff are also attentive, professional and very caring. Special activities are planned each week and a list is provided to the resident should they elect to participate. The grounds and inside of the facility are very well kept. It is not only clean but decorated for each season which makes you feel right at home. We could not be happier with the care and love he receives at Cadence! We feel so blessed!!!!!

My Mom was a resident in the memory care facility for over 3 years. Tonya and her team always made Mom feel at home and loved. Not only does Cadence provide excellent care, Tonya and her team provides activities and events for the residents - for example, Mom was able to enjoy an Elvis impersonator event and she had a great time listening to the music and dancing with Elvis! Cadence became a part of our family and we always felt that Mom was in the best place for her needs. We highly recommend Cadence of Mooresville to anyone who may need their services.

Our mom was a residence at this facility for over eight years. The facility’s director Tonya is wonderful. Her calling in life is definitely to take care of seniors. She is great to work with and puts the residence first. My mom was so blessed to have MsTonya looking out for her best interest Ms Vivian, Ms Nicole, in the office, Ms Jonea and Ms Connie are the staff members who stand out. They are extremely great people who treated mom as if she were their family. We were sad that our mom had to be move to a different facility but we are blessed she was able to spend 8 years with you.
