I cannot say enough good things about Arbor Landing at Compass Pointe. My mom was there for three years. There are so many activities with the residents to do and so many opportunities for the residence to socialize. The apartments are spacious and easy to get around. My mom went to dinner and lunches at Arbor Landing. She also did some of the crafts, saw some movies And enjoy the entertainment. The executive director, Devon, is absolutely amazing. She is kind and gracious and extremely helpful. She knows every single resident by name. In addition Jen, The activity, Director, goes above and beyond planning activities for the residence to enjoy. The rest of the staff is just as incredible. They take the time to know the residents and what they like? Not only is the staff great with the residents, But they are also caring and compassionate with family members. It was very reassuring to have my mom living there with the care that she was being given.If you are looking for a place to put a loved one, the independent living facility at Arbor Landing Compass Pointe is the place to pick! I highly recommend it!

We are very satisfied with our home here at Arbor Landing The concierge Staff is friendly, cheerful and extremely helpful. The housekeeping staff is excellent about keeping the apartments and common areas clean. The week is filled with many activities which are not only fun but also healthy for our aging bodies there is a constant air of friendliness among the staff and residents . Throughout the place everything looks beautiful and is tastefully done and cared for. Another pleasing factor are the outing trips done several times each month to interesting local places and stores for shopping. Very important to us since we no longer drive is the transportation provided for doctor visits

Today, June 23, 2025 is my second year anniversary at ALCP. ALCP is a beautiful facility. The physical environment is warm and inviting. I have a beautiful, spacious one bedroom apartment with a screened-in balcony. Seating outside is also provided if one wants to spend some time outdoors. The leadership and administrative staff are outstanding. They are always available to assist or answer any concerns or problems that a resident may have, and are very acutely attuned to the needs and interests of the residents. ALCP provides a diverse array of activities each month for residents. The Activities Director is very proactive and seeks input from the residents as to additional activities or outings that may be of interest to us. The Dining Service and chefs are superb. We have a very diverse menu, and each month we have what is called a Food Forum headed by one of the chefs, to receive input from the residents regarding concerns, suggestions, complaints, additions or subtractions to the menu. The chefs here are very proactive and go above and beyond to satisfy the residents desires. The residents here are very friendly and inclusive. All in all, I think ALCP is a wonderful place to spend one’s retirement years, and I highly recommend it.

Im not living at Compass Point, but my Mother is a happy resident of the community. She enjoys all the activities (wine Wednesday, specifically), but also all the crafts and games that are made available to the residents. The community provides daily outages such as Walmart visits, and even once went to the local pub down the road. My mom was basically home bound for years due to limited mobility; so had little interaction with people. Now she’s the social queen, always engaged in activities and is enjoying her golden years.

My mom moved to Arbor Landing a few months ago and she and we love it! The apartments are spacious and she can still maintain her independence but also get the extra care needed with the on-site medical team. This is next level independent living. Placing Dad at Arbor Landing has been one of the best decisions ever made! The huge and beautifully appointed apartments coupled with activities and a full staff that truly cares about their residents well being has been a Godsend. The staff has shown over and over again how they listen to the feedback given and always take immediate action on anything needed. Dad is a diabetic and we had simply inquired as to any diabetic food options - within days, adjustments were made to the menu that made us and the residents so happy. Happy to recommend Arbor Landing again and again!

The vibe my husband and I experienced just walking into Arbor Landing was very positive. The place was shiny spotless! Our first contact was with Wendy, who gave us the facility tour and information we needed. We found the apartments and amenities above par. Lovely dining room. Although my husband’s stay was just temporary, his exposure to the staff was both warm and friendly. Special thanks go to Devon, David, Agnes, Jessica and Bob. All staff were happy to help in any way. If you are looking for a place for your parents/family to feel safe and well cared for, I/we highly recommend it.

The facility is beautiful, the apartments are roomy with an impressive kitchen and bathroom. I have had the pleasure of meeting Devon Parish, Director of Operations, and Jennifer Spare, Director of Activities. Jennifer is tireless in her effort to provide wonderful and diverse activities for the residents. It is obvious how much the residents love Jennifer, and how much she loves them. The Compass Pointe community, located right outside their gates, has embraced Arbor Landing and their residents in no small part because of Jennifer and Devon.

I stayed with my parents for a week, helping them move in and organize their furniture and hang pictures. Everyone is very friendly but the meals are not very healthy. One evening we had greasy kielbasa, a hash brown patti and canned spinach, a few days later we had grilled palmetto cheese sandwiches, potatoes chips, and pasta salad, lots of gluten and starch. I have not seen many meals that I think would be good to give seniors.

My Mom has been a resident at Arbor Landing at Compass Pointe since they opened in October 2021. Arbor Landing is a beautiful place! Mom enjoys a spacious beautiful new apartment there. And I am happy she lives close by. When Mom moved from New York, where she lived her entire life, I wasn't sure about the transition. It was the people who work at Arbor Landing that made Mom's transition smooth and virtually seamless. The best part about Arbor Landing is the staff. The staff at Arbor Landing truly care. They make the residence "a home". All residents are treated like family.....with kindness, respect and love which makes Arbor Landing an outstanding place to live. Residents enjoy an in-house movie theatre, hair salon, chapel and many fun activities published every month on the monthly activities calendar. There are outings, special events, performances, resident forums and birthday celebrations. And help is available 24/7 so I know Mom is safe and cared for which is most important to me! I love Arbor Landing!
