I am not a resident here but have visited several friends here and have always had such a pleasant experience. The building is beautiful and the staff seems extremely friendly and knowledgeable. I am really surprised by any negative review left. I can’t say enough good things about Arbor Ridge. I truly feel so blessed to have my mom there. From the moment you walk in, everyone makes you feel welcome. The community is beautiful, always clean, and the food is actually really good! What means the most to me is how caring everyone is. The staff and managers are always friendly, helpful, and treat the residents like family. You can tell they genuinely care. The Executive Director is always finding ways to make things fun and special for the residents, and it really shows. She cares and loves the people there. It gives me so much peace of mind knowing my mom is happy, safe, and surrounded by people who care about her. My mom, who is very particular about everything, has lived at Arbor Ridge for almost 2 years. She is so happy and has made many friends. This has improved her morale and made her life better. From the Executive Director to the dining staff to the housekeepers all have the residents best interests in mind. Do yourself a favor and visit this hidden gem in Huntersville. Worst experience ever!!! Melissa left my mother without AC during the hottest weekend of the year and was no place to be found as always she is NEVER around during a problem you can never find her when they tell you to talk with her my mother was without ac when it was 99 degrees

My mom recently moved into Arbor Ridge. Our family has been impressed with the friendliness and caring attitude of the staff, the cleanliness of the building, the quality and variety of meals and the overall cheerful and inviting atmosphere. Mom has been very happy and enjoys exercise class, game time and social interaction with other residence. Highly recommend Arbor Ridge!

I did a tour and the place was very beautiful and the front desk lady was extremely nice everything was great until my mother needed more care and said they couldnt help her after she had just moved to memory care then Melissa who was the rudest person i have ever come in contact with makes us move because she wanted to allow someone else with less issues have my moms room i wouldnt recommend anyone to move your loved ones here

I just had the opportunity to tour the Arbor Ridge facility in Huntersville and wow. I was seriously impressed. It was the cleanest and best smelling facility I have ever been in. The staff was extremely friendly and highly engaged with the residents. The daily activities and planning that goes into keeping the residents active was seriously impressive as well. The food menu was like a high end restaurant. I can honestly say with no hesitation that I would recommend any of my family or friends to live in this facility! If you are looking for a great active community of friendly people check it out!

My mom has been living in an independent living apartment at Arbor Ridge Huntersville for 3 1/2 years. Because of her increasing needs for assistance, my family and I recently moved her to assisted living at Arbor Ridge. I cannot say enough about the kindness, care, and compassion of the staff at Arbor Ridge! From the office staff, to the nurses, to housekeeping, to the dining room staff, the activity directors, to their custodian, and the shuttle bus driverthey are all a special group of people who genuinely work considering the best interests of all the residents at Arbor Ridge, and they work not just because it’s their job, but they work with their hearts. My mom has always felt loved and cared for, and my family and I are at peace knowing that she is living in such a beautiful, clean, and most of all, caring place! Thank you Arbor Ridge staff for who you all are, and for all you do!!!

We have been so pleased with our mother’s new home. The staff is friendly and kind. The accommodations are lovely and filled with light. It is so comforting to know she has access to good meals, activities and social interaction. The public areas are so beautiful as well. Lots of fun activities for interaction. My parents moved to Arbor Ridge independent living after a life changing situation. They are both very happy with the community. It is beautiful, welcoming, inviting, and always spotless. The management and staff have been so supportive and go out of their way to make sure my parents are happy and have everything they need. A few months after moving in my mother transitioned to Horizons, Arbor Ridge’s memory care. Again the management and the staff went above and beyond to help my parents and my sister and I with a difficult transition. We are grateful for the love and support we have received and would highly recommend Arbor Ridge!

UPDATE TO MY PREVIOUS REVIEW..... My brother needs some post hospital, post rehab care.....we, as a family, knew that he had to move to the BEST, most loving and caring facility. Thankfully, there was a 1 bedroom apartment available 8n Independent Living. He has been there a week, today, and our entire family is thrilled....and he is TRIVING! Thank you to each and every family (staff) member at Arbor Ridge!!!! ********Just came across some of the reviews previously posted....wow! Such a shame to read those few negative reviews. Mom has been in AL since June 2022 when they first opened that wing. Sure, it was tough waiting it out for the opening and move in....but since she has been there, her cognitive and motor skills and overall attitude have definitely improved! The staff is wonderful, loving and always hardworking. We couldn't ask for a better place for mom

I had the pleasure of meeting several employees at Arbor Ridge while seeking care for our mother. And every single person was so kind and it felt so genuine. Desiree went above and being to help us out. The facility is absolutely beautiful as well. I would highly recommend Arbor Ridge to anyone seeking care for their loved one. It is obvious they all care so much about their residents as well as the family members. You all make a such a difference, always remember that! You may not think you do, but taking the time to be so kind and listen means the world to us.

This is the most caring beautiful community we moved my Aunt Millie there just 2 weeks ago the staff the residents the janitor everyone goes above and beyond to make you feel comfortable! The activities they have! The apartments are absolutely beautiful! Assisted care side is beautiful I cannot say enough but don’t take my spot I already informed my daughter when I no longer can stay alone that’s where I want to be! My family is thrilled that we found the Arbor Ridge Community for our parents (who are in their 90's!)The two year old beautiful facility is intimate, friendly, open, super clean and has a bright, airy feel to it-almost "beachy." The most important feature for us is that Arbor Ridge has four levels of care; so now I am assured that my parents will be well taken care of as their needs increase over time. Transportation is available which takes a load off my mind as my father is turning 94 in September and we really don't want him driving. Lots of fun social activities available to make new friends, and they have a great maintenance staff (who hung up my parents pictures for them and secured their TV!) Check it out-it is a wonder living option for all levels!

Beautiful, clean and very welcoming. Staff interaction with residents is phenomenal, and the residents appear to be engaged in the activities and sincerely happy. The apartments are larger than what I expected, with kitchens that will allow for in home dining on those rare occasions you might want to stay in. Most impressive is the dining. The Chef on staff has designed beautiful menu of multiple choices for fine dining, and of course my favorite meal is dessert and they looked very tempting. Well maintained and definitely worth the visit.

Things are never there food wise. The staff is great, but over worked and under paid. But the staff is great. The food sucks ,but everyone has a job to do!! As long as they do it, things would be better. I feel like people cut corners to cut costs!!!!! Some people need to do better on their job!!!!! But it's a pleasure to be there..

I think Arbor ridge is a perfect size for a care facility like this. We have independent living, assisted living and memory care. One of us is in memory care. One of us is in independent living. It's large enough to be able to keep with your friends and small enough that you know everyone. Everyone is like family. The staff is very caring and good. I would like the food to be better, but all things considered this is a good place and I'm glad we're here.

After looking at many options, we chose Arbor Ridge as our new home. We are happy hat we did. The management is very good, the price very fair and competitive, the food satisfactory, and the feeling of home better than expected. I would recommend to anyone.

This is by far THE BEST PLACE EVER!!! I was made to feel welcomed from day one. They have GREAT management, staff, residents and family members. The facility is beautiful, but its the people that make it a great environment. Please do not get discouraged from the negative reviews and go see for yourself! This facility is NEVER understaffed and they do not use agency to staff. I love that there is a Social Director for IL, AL, and MC. They also have a Wellness Director for each neighborhood plus a Registered Nurse that oversees the entire community. The Executive Director, Ryan is by far the best to work with and for. He is resourceful, respectful, kind, calm, understanding and the list could go on. I would recommend this facility for employment and residence. Stop by for a tour or an application today!!!

I am grateful for all their hard work, dedication, and attention given to our family. We could not be happier! My Dad feels extremely blessed to be here. He has stated many times that Arbor Ridge is a beautiful place, and it is wonderful to live there. Dad feels at home and is well pleased with the staff and services he receives. When we moved our mother there in June, the wow factor was great. The facility is beautiful. We knew she would need Assisted living in the near future and were assured that they could grow in their care with her needs. She had a minor stroke at the end of July. After hospitalization and rehab we spoke with staff, requesting that she be moved from Independent living to AL. They evaluated her and determined she fell between a level 2 and 3 for care. We were assigned a room and all was well, or so we thought. Moving day came and AS WE WERE FINISHING MOVING HER THINGS to her new apartment, we were called to the office and told in a most unkind and abrupt manner that our mother could not stay due to her care needs. Mind you - every thing she needed for care was advertised in their marketing materials. We argued our case to no avail. They moved the goal post several times for their excuses why they could not accommodate and manage my mother- but after taking our grievances to higher up management and ownership - it was finally admitted that they just AREN'T STAFFED PROPERLY to provide the care they advertise. We would NEVER have chosen this facility had we known that in her decline they could not deliver. So we were forced to move mom to ANOTHER Asissted Living facility- very traumatic for her (and us) as now she is at ground zero in an unfamiliar place. She had friends and knew her surroundings at arbor ridge and instead of supporting us in our time of need, they kicked us to the curb with no recourse. Terrible treatment and they just flat out lie. I hope none of their current residents have any health events because they cannot deliver what they advertise and when it matters most.
