I’m so happy living at Cypress Glen Retirement Community in Greenville, NC. I moved here in April, 2024, and it has been the perfect place for me to spend this phase of my life. As soon as I arrived, I was welcomed by the marketing staff with muffins, assistance with unpacking and even help with making my bed. The entire staff is warm and friendly and takes care of my every need, even replacing light bulbs. They remember my name and always greet me with a smile. I feel like I am a part of large caring family. I have never lived in such a friendly community. I love my neighbors and it’s fun to take a walk and greet people I know. The food is delicious, and I can always find something I like in the dining room or the café. The chefs do a great job of planning a menu for such a wide range of diets, and for people with so many different tastes. Life enrichment is amazing, providing us with a big variety of activities: music, shows, plays, dining out, and trips to interesting places. And I have to mention, the saltwater pool, which makes me fill like I am in a beautiful spa. There is also a modern work out room, and a variety of movement classes. As you can probably tell, I can’t say enough good things about living at Cypress Glen. It’s the best move I have ever made. Come join us!!!

Every visit has been a delight. Jeny has been outstanding in assisting getting us on the "wait list". The recent "Lunch and Learn" event was very informative and lunch was delicious. Since this type onsite update event is so informative and answers so many questions hope it will continue and maybe expanded to include one or two immediate family members. In most cases the decision to apply and live at Cypress Glen is a family decision. Thanks so much, Ron and Pam Francis

The staff and residents of Cypress Glen have been so welcoming each time we visited. The facility itself is lovely and all the amenities offered are so impressive. Jeny Martin has been right with us every step of the way offering her kindness, compassion, patience, and knowledge. We could not have had a better person guiding us through this process. Disney World might be the happiest place on earth to visit, but Cypress Glen is the happiest place on earth to live. The decision to move from our home of fifty years was huge. But after visiting and choosing our housing, our focus shifted. Our move-in coordinator, Jeny Martin, took over from there. Our home was quickly and beautifully renovated and three months later we moved in. The entire staff at Cypress Glen is focused on resident happiness and comfort. The campus is beautiful, the daily/weekly activities are numerous, the food is delicious, and your neighbors are genuinely glad to see you. Plan a visit soon and explore your options at Cypress Glen.

I have worked here a year and half on Asst Living. Management has been AWESOME in handling issues and doing what is RIGHT and best for the residents. Have good co workers on 3rd shift and Awesome Residents. The residents are so sweet, kind, and THANKFUL even though it is my job. As an employee I am not going anywhere. Best place I have ever worked. If you are rude or have an additude this is not the place for you. It is part of the Methodist church so a loving heart is a must as an employee! If you are looking to move here, you will NEVER regret it. Wish I could move here myself. Employees and other residents are so nice helpful and kind. Outside is PEACEFUL even being right by ECU campus. I really do enjoy being here. When I get off work there is no running out the door to just get away.

Planning for the future. Cypress Glen is such an amazing place—-the facility, the people who reside there and most of all, the entire staff that make this retirement community run so wonderfully and efficiently. I can't say enough nice words about the staff! They are simply wonderful! Each step my husband and I take to moving closer to this retirement community makes us realize this is the perfect spot for us. I like everything about Cypress Glen!

I just helped a family member move in, and I am relieved to know that this is the right place. All of the doctors, nurses, and staff have been absolutely wonderful in helping with the transition and care. We wanted to find the best place, and we did.

Checked my mom in about 3 weeks ago, who was unsure of whether or not she should go. Her biggest concern was the size of her apartment, but has expressed multiple times now that it is "plenty of space." She is beyond thrilled that she chose to join the CG community and wishes she would have made the decision sooner. Jeny with CG was extremely patient and helpful during the entire process and we really appreciated the time, effort and energy she gave to our mom. We all live in town and have visited multiple times and are very happy with all of our interactions with the rest of the CG team as well.

I have worked as a Server in the Dining Room at Cypress Glen for a little over 10 months. I am 17 years old, and this is my first job and I love it. The Residents are interesting, and kind and I like getting to know them. I like the employees and managers and I hope to work here for a long time. The food is good, and Cypress Glen is really pretty.

We recently moved to Cypress Glen in the midst of the COVID19 Pandemic. The great folks that work here nary skipped a beat with us - delivering meals to us daily, performing weekly housekeeping chores, removing boxes and cardboard as we unpacked, visiting and checking on us daily for anything we might need and generally getting us oriented to all of the many first class amenities and services available on this beautiful campus. In less than a year, with no significant outbreaks of the Corona Virus, we are now fully vaccinated and enjoying dinner each evening in a beautiful, first class, fully staffed and furnished dining room. We are also meeting many other residents, really nice people. Many of our friends and relatives are wanting to visit to see what Cypress Glen really looks like and why we are so happy here.

We were very favorably impressed on our first visit to Cypress Glen over a year ago. We were planning another visit to gather details on residence options when COVID struck. During this forced isolation, we are very grateful to Elizabeth Jenkins in Marketing for her frequent contacts and updates that have kept us connected to CG. We were also impressed with the swift steps that CG staff implemented to keep all their residents safe during the pandemic. As COVID restrictions ease, we are planning a visit to discuss areas specific to our needs. I have no doubt about CG's ability to meet those needs.

My mother has been a resident at Cypress Glen for several years. The facility itself is lovely and wonderfully maintained but what stands out most for me is the culture. Everyone on staff from top to bottom exemplifies kindness, patience, friendliness and an always cheerful "can do " spirit. This sets the tone for an exceptionally welcoming, caring and happy community. I am truly grateful for Cypress Glen.

We visited a close relative here and could not believe how beautiful this place is. It is like a 5 star cruise ship on dry ground. Very elegant. Our relative enjoys living here in her golden years.
