In January, the state of NC anticipated a crippling ice storm. In addition to making preparations for ourselves, there were those of us who wondered how our loved ones would weather the storm. I cannot express how grateful and comforted I was after receiving correspondence from Terra Bella's management team. The families were informed that the safety, comfort, and well being of our loved ones remained their top priority (their words). I was extremely relieved to learn that the community was equipped with a permanent generator and that they would not experience utility interruptions. Moreover, they ordered a week's work of meals for residents AND staff. Additionally, they were prepared to provide shuttle transportation to team members to ensure the caregivers could arrive safely to work and to maintain adequate staffing and uninterrupted care to our loved ones. Lastly, members of the management team were not only on call, they were also scheduled to be in the facility as well. I commend Terra Bella's strategic management team for anticipating needs, their foresight of preparation over panicking, their leadership and the timely, detailed communication.

I am a physician and travel to multiple facilities. This place is hands-down one of the best. Excellent staff that is very caring and involved and the resident lives. There's a great atmosphere with all the social activities. I cannot recommend this place enough.

I stopped in for a tour, admittedly I did not make an appointment. Things were a little hectic upfront on this particular Saturday. I looked around quickly. Saw that things looked pretty new. Actually spoke to a resident who said things were being remodeled but she hated it. Wished they would have asked the residents what they wanted. It was pretty modern looking, Not my taste by so is design. I looked at reviews and noticed that the Places for Mom reviews stated things were good up until the new management took over. Then the google reviews I read, most of them seemed to be employees.

TerraBella Greensboro is a beautiful community that offers assisted living and memory care living options with onsite nursing services, every level of care offers individualized attention. TerraBella Greensboro recently won a deficiency free survey with the state of North Carolina. The residents are well taken care of by the wonderful staff at TerraBella Greensboro.

This assisted living facility is a great place for your loved one. My mother has been here for 3 months and the majority of the staff is extremely nice . The admistrative staff is excellent, very caring, and attentive to the needs of the residence. The executive director along with Darius Bakote are the nicest most professional people I have ever dealt with. They provided a Thanksgiving luncheon for the residents and their families today and it was delicious.

We visited multiple assisted living places in Greensboro before choosing Brighton Gardens for my father in law. Their staff did a wonderful job caring for him and his needs as well as communicating with us as the family on how we could best help him. My father in law as well as my husband and I loved the homey feel they have created - especially the walking loop around the property. Caroline and Ian helped us to transition him to hospice when the time came and even checked in on my father in law and my family after he had left their care. We are grateful for all of their help.

I remember in 2005 it was still attractively designed like Marriott had done. Now it looks coldly institutional with glaring sterile lighting hospital white walls, linoleum floors(noisy, think hospital) and a few stuffed chairs from best western thrown in. Boy am I glad my my late mother checked out before the Greensboro jailers marched in!

I have browsed a few reviews of Brighten Gardens of Greensboro, and I am terribly sorry to see that some people are or were not happy.My mother, who fought living in a facility until there was absolutely no choice, has been so well taken care of. From the bright, shining face of Kelly at reception, to Sam, her med man, to her care team, to housekeeping, maintenance, everyone has gone over and above their jobs to create an atmosphere that makes her feel safe. People stop and comment on photos, help her make decisions on picture hanging, and then hang them for her. Fix her coffee pot.Over and above, every person.No one says Thats not my job, unless they truly do not know how to fix the problem.I am a registered nurse, and not easily impressed, but every concern was addressed in a timely manner, without defensiveness, just a desire to improve. Administration are not figure heads, they are caring people.No elder wants to leave their home. It is devastating. Pre covid, I dropped in 4-5 times a day to check on her. Covid hit, and my ability to check in was taken from me.They have handled the virus so efficiently that they have had very few cases. Not an easy task in a facility that size. Even though we can no longer visit, the saving grace is that I can sleep at night knowing that people who genuinely love her are at the helm.While she is not crazy about the food, only on holidays has she ever enjoyed my meals be cause I am not a country cook. LOL! So the dietary department has done as good a job for mom as I could have done myself!!!! We eat a little too healthfully for mom, here in our home. So Brava to dietary as well. No one understands the difficulty of feeding that many elders three meals a day.Thank you❤The facility is decorated beautifully for every holiday, and for every ordinary day, and lots of places for families to celebrate an occasion.The celebration rooms are closed due to covid, but were wonderfully maintained.Our tenure will be short now, due to her financial situation, and I can hardly bear it. In checking for memory care units for my wife, this facility prepared a personalized video with a walking tour of the dining area, an example of one of the rooms, the kitchen, and other areas. They have a designated care manager for the residents . For the money, the value was extremely good. I was able to visit my wife for the 1st seven days ( and now on day 4) . The food is excellent . All of the staff has come by to me and to inquire if I had any questions or concerns. The staff come by to my wifes room every 2 hours ( state mandate) and call my wife by her nickname, which gives that personalized touch. The staff has answered promptly any questions that I have had or got back in touch promptly if it required someone else that had the answer. The inside is extremely pretty and very clean.. Top notch facility, All of the management staff is extremely helpful; knowledgeable, and willing to spend the time to cover all of the information that I needed to know or be aware of..

We have had a good experience-my mother has been a resident for 3 years. The activities staff are very caring and dedicated. I would like to see some improvements to the dining service. But my mom is well cared for and busy with lots of nice activities. The staff on my moms floor really care about her and do a good job taking care of her. I am at the nursing home frequently. Physical therapy department is run by an outside firm and they are all terrific.

Bordering the back of the facility are the local farming gardens of Guilford College. Brighton Gardens were originally Marriott properties and built to hotel standards.

When my mom moved in last February, she was frightened and terribly unsure of her future. Within just a few short weeks, she had settled in and started really appreciating the incredible staff and all their efforts to make her life as pleasant as possible. She loves the food and her health has greatly improved. As her daughter, I will always be grateful that we found Brighton Gardens. Our visits are pleasant and stress free.
