I had the opportunity to visit this community this past week and was honored to have been able to witness: quality, competence, and compassionate care. The ED, DHW, department heads, and care staff was simply amazing. This community was filled with happy residents, staff and so well maintained. I highly recommend this community if you have a loved one or friend looking for exceptional care in the Concord area of North Carolina!

Rarely do assisted living communities live up to their advertisement hype. But in this case, I can attest Morningside of Concord absolutely does!! They are an absolutely phenomenal community!! The secret to their success? I believe it’s because EVERY Morningside staff member appears to GENUINELY care for their residents well being. Beginning with their Executive Director, the Nursing, CNA, Administrative, Activities, Dining, Maintenance, Laundry, and all other Support staff members seem to be handpicked to provide the most loving care possible for all of the residents under their charge. Our loved one has been at Morningside nearly 5 months, and thus far, our family has been more than satisfied and truly appreciative of the outstanding outpouring of accommodating efforts made to provide her with the best care possible. If you like a smaller assisted living/memory community with a family feel, Morningside is your home. I believe it to truly be one of the brightest stars within the 5 star group.

I've recently toured this community and found it to be a very welcoming and friendly community. The thing that most impressed me was how long the staff have worked in this community. Many senior communities have a rotating door of employees but Morningside had employees at every level who have worked in this very community for decades. This would definitely be one of the many reasons why a family would choose this community for their loved one.

Katherine, the Director, has the best staff and everyone at Morningside is kind and caring. The director sets the tone and she is truly one of a kind! It is always consistent and I am so happy that my mother is so happy here! Great place for loved ones!

Morningside of Concord treats your loved ones like family. The staff is kind, caring, and compassionate. Activity directors keep residents happy, busy and on the go. Doctors coming to Morningside are excellent. Concerns are addressed quickly and care is phenomenal. Amenities include hair and nail services. I highly recommend Morningside of Concord.

We have a precious loved one at this Five Star wonderful Care Facility. Words cannot describe the loving kindness that all staff members demonstrate to the residents on a daily basis. The quality of care along with the many activities are second to none. There is no comparison in cleanliness, service and friendly people, you will be WOWED!!

My mother was suffering from ALS and I placed her in Morningside of Concord from another facility in town in November 2019. Their staff was FABULOUS in every way!!! I was always informed of the state of my mom's condition. They were proactive on things they were witnessing as her disease progressed. Most importantly, my mom was comfortable, at ease, and pleased. This is the Gold Standard for Assisted living facilities in my opinion. My only regret is not placing her there initially! Thanks Very Much for all your help Morningside of Concord!!!

While working in the hospital and senior living industry myself, I would refer my own patients to Morningside because I knew they would get the care they needed and deserved. What makes Morninside so great are the employees! They have many employees who have been there for 10+ years, a rarity these days! Morningside of Concord has been so incredibly helpful over the last two years of providing what has been excellent care for my father. The experience has exceeded expectations. The staff – Starr, Robin, Charles, Brian, Terri, “Kat,” Tammy, Tamara, Catherine, Tameko, “Big Kay,” “Little Kay,” Jennifer, Nikki, Michelle, Donna and the many other caregivers and dining staff that I’ve met and interacted with more briefly (and haven’t memorized their names, unfortunately) have become an extension of our family in many ways. The staff has gone above and beyond for my father and he has praised the attention and professionalism of his caregivers. Our family is updated regularly regarding his care and notified of any changes or causes for concern and proposed solutions. With his health issues, there are many ups and downs and the staff has been very communicative and understanding. The staff has a great attitude about the realities and, sometimes, hardships faced by the residents and seem to approach each situation and interaction with grace, humility, kindness, and love. The employees and residents both seem to share a sense of joy in working together. I cannot say enough good things about our experience with Morningside. These people genuinely care and love what they do.

It’s has been almost twenty years that I learned about Morningside of Concord As a private caregiver to an elderly lady that had to have more care, I know this was the best place they could have found. The love and compassion that the staff shows towards not only the residents but families and visitors is outstanding. This is the reason that when my aunt needed assisted living care we chose this to be her new home.

My mother has been a resident for over 1 year. She has said if she cannot be in her home this is the next best thing. The facility is nice and clean. Cannot say enough nice things about the staff from management to maintenance. It is a a very caring facility. I would highly recommend.

Morningside is a wonderful facility . Every person there always seems to be in great spirits. Every year we participate in a car show to help raise money for Alzheimer’s that morningside puts on and watching all the residents come out and judge the cars is something to see .. wonderful place

I love, love, love this facility! The staff is always so friendly and welcoming when you walk in. You can tell they all genuinely care for their residents. From the care staff, to the kitchen crew, to the maintenance staff and everyone in between. The food is great and you can tell the kitchen employees take pride in the food they cook and serve. I've heard numerous stories about the management team coming up with new ideas to do something special for individual residents. I'm happy Cabarrus County has the assisted living facility it deserves.

The facility is clean, the food is excellent, and the staff caring. What else can be said about the best assisted living facility in the county? My mother-in-law has a complex medical history and the leadership team and staff have been wonderful in working to provide for her needs. It is a place clearly guided by an active interest in delivering the best care. The culture of the organization is positive, caring, and professional.

Morningside of Concord has provided a loving, caring home for both my dad and my aunt. The management team and staff take care to get to know each resident as an individual and to provide just what each needs to thrive. The varied activities and outings, from daily devotions and exercise to concerts and shopping, keep residents on the go and engaged within the community, both inside and outside the beautiful facility. One remarkable thing about the Morningside team is that many of the caring faces I see each time I visit were there when my first family member arrived over 6 years ago. The team is amazing, and I highly recommend!

The team at Morningside of Concord is awash with angels…from the top down and from the bottom up…any way you wish to look at it. It was evident the very first time and any time I made a phone call to Morningside of Concord and the receptionist answered. It was apparent when I walked through the door; it was always clean. Whether it is dietary or housekeeping or maintenance or nursing or daily activities or administration or laundry service…they are all excellent. It was a delight for my family members to live with them. It was a delight for me to visit. If I need to live in an assisted living facility someday, I’d choose Morningside of Concord.

My aunt is a resident at Morningside going on (4) years and she talks about Morningside as her home. All the activities both within the facility and the wonderful “outings” are a constant discussion when we visit. Coming in the front door until leaving, everyone is so friendly and always willing to stop and talk with us about how our aunt is doing and friends she has. The care and compassion that seems to be effortless and endless continues to show the commitment of Morningside’s goal of providing the quality of care that everyone should strive to provide for our loved ones.
