We moved my 81 year old sister herev in memory care in September of 2025 from another facility and it has been amazing for my sister and us too!. Jaynie/ sales met with us and listened to our concerns about my sister. Then we took the tour and we were blown away by the level of care the staff was giving the residents. The safety systems in place to ensure residents are checked on every 2 hours was like nothing we had ever seen. Also their staff ratio to residents is above and beyond all standards. Everything Jaynie told us during the meeting was ’ true and actually above and beyond our expectations. The receptionists and all staff in the building speak and greet you. Sonja/ move in coordinator and Christine/director are amazing and so caring for the residents and their families. Christine/director communicates all upcoming events including safety precautions or any changes occurring as well as the wellness director Tiffany and her staff communicates any concerns or medical issues to me about my sister. I could go on and on about how great the facility and staff are but they all truly deserve recognition for the excellent care they provide to my sister and all the residents at Waltonwood Cotswold!. During her time here, she was treated with dignity, kindness, and genuine compassion. If you have a problem or issue, say something. Let management know. They will get to the bottom of it and resolve the problem right away. Excellent customer service. Thank you very much! We visited many if not all memory care facilities in Charlotte searching for a place for my elderly mother with late stage dementia. Waltonwood does have a beautiful campus, large rooms, lots of activities and accessible dining. We even paid the $1,000.00 to be on the "wait list." We were not advised that all current residents of Waltonwood have first dibs on any memory care availability (as it should be, they live there already.) Four months later after receiving a copy of the lease and reading it; we came to find it would not be a good fit for us. Several months later, Jayne Segal called to apologize things did not work out which was kind. A kinder gesture would be to return my 93 year old mother's wait list fee.

If you want the worst for your family member, put them here. They will give you the glamorous tour and promise you the sun moon and stars but trust me when I say it is a front. They will blame everything on being understaffed meanwhile all the "execs" sit around a giggle and laugh with each other. I even encountered an employee on a Sunday morning stating she was still drunk from the night before as she was signing in for work. My relative has had numerous medication mishaps. And if you ring the bell for assistance you may wait up to 40 minutes as my relative did while lying on the floor bleeding with a broken arm for a fall. The excuses are ridiculous. I have even witnessed in the elevator employees talking ugly about residents and laughing at their disabilities. We will be relocating our relative as soon as the next spot opens at another facilty. DO NOT make the same mistake we did.

Waltonwood Cotswold is a beautiful facility with caring and responsive staff. Jaynie and Alex were especially helpful getting my mother evaluated for the correct level of care and ensuring a smooth transition. The entire team has been a pleasure to work with.

My mom finally moved into Waltonwood Cotswold on June 14. Jaynie, Alex, the caregivers and the other residents have really helped to make my mom feel welcome. My mom has already made friends and is participating in the some of their many choices of activities. Jaynie has been very accommodating to make the transition easier for mom. Thank you so much.

Wow! What an amazing facility. My grandparents are living here and they are in the absolute best care. The facility is clean, lovely, and perfect for their assisted living needs. I also cannot go on enough about the amazing staff here. They have all taken diligent time to get to know my grandparents and they feel like family. The facility is very nice and clean. I can't say nothing but EXCELLENT reviews about this facility. The staff is friendly and they take care of the residents. My mother has enjoyed being there and very pleased. Also, you can't ask for a better place for a family member to be staying here.

I brought my mother to visit Waltonwood. We both thoroughly enjoyed our tour, and felt like our questions were answered. Jaynie was very friendly and obviously very proud of their community. She even sent my mother home with a piece of homemade pie! There is no availability at this point but if a room becomes available, I think Mom would be happy here.

The Waltonwood Staff is kind, caring, professional, patient, friendly, and approachable. My father has been a resident in Assisted Living for 2 years and we are glad he is there is safe hands. The family events they host are fun for the residents and a great way to get families involved. The Care Managers are knowledgeable and always ready to listen to concerns. My Dad does not participate in many of the activities, but there is a variety to choose from, as well as exercise classes each day. It's a great place!!!!

Fantastic experience thus far. Elderly parent is quite happy, been there over a year, has not only made many friends with both residents and staff, but has completely turned around from living alone (with assisted help) to being more outgoing, enjoying the entertainment, activities, exercise and interaction with others. Staff has gone out of their way to accommodate any special needs or requests, the facility is super clean and relatively new, and the food is great. Perfect choice.
