The ladies in the office can be down right disrespectful. Remember this is a "Senior living facility" 55 and above, with many retired and disabled residents. If someone spoke to management relatives in the manner that they sometimes do to the residents I am certain that they would not appreciate it. Speak with current residents before moving here. It's more about the bottom line,

I had a wonderful experience when I contacted University Square Apartments. When I called, I got no answer, but I did not leave a message. Nikki called me back immediately and took time to talk to me about the property. I decided to stop by a day later when I was in the vicinity of the property. Nikki was welcoming and showed me a very nice apartment while giving me a tour. The property was clean and pretty and looks like a pleasant place to live.

My mother has been a resident at University Square Senior Living for nearly 11 years, and I can’t say enough about the great times she’s had and the memories and friendships she has created during her time there. From the beginning, the manager Nikki has made my mom feel like family. Nikki has always shown genuine compassion and professionalism. She goes above and beyond to create a safe environment for her residents. Over the years, we’ve seen many changes, but the level of attentiveness and dedication to residents’ well-being has remained consistently high. They’ve treated my mom with warmth and respect, and she’s always felt safe and valued. The community itself is welcoming and well-maintained. My mom has built strong friendships and enjoys the sense of belonging. The activities and social opportunities kept her engaged and active with other community neighbors and friends. We’re incredibly grateful for the lifestyle and environment University Square has provided. After nearly 11 years, it’s more than just a senior living facility, its home.

Margaret B Gray, I would like to share my experience and opinion about the University Square Apartments. I live out- of - state Ohio, and my Mother has been a tenant of this development for over 17 yrs. The Manager Nicole Carson has been and has gone above and beyond to make the Residents here very comfortable. The building is kept very clean, apartments are up to code and My Mother and I feel very safe with her living here. Nicole Carson, if needed can be reached in an emergency either on duty or off and that's important. When I first visited University Square Apartments I thought it was a Hotel, very different from New Jersey. I'm a Senior now and I want to be closer to my Mother, and hopefully Nicole can work out something and I too can become a future resident of University Square Apartments. Great Managers are hard to find...... Nicole Carson has My Vote!!!!

For a decade, University Square was home to my late grandmother and uncle, God rest their souls. Whenever I visited, I was always warmly greeted by both staff and residents. The grounds were consistently clean and well-kept, as were the common areas. What truly sets this senior living facility apart, however, is the sense of family that permeates the place. A principal reason for this warm, welcoming atmosphere is the property manager, Ms. Nikki. She not only treats everyone who walks through the door with dignity and respect, but also offers emotional support to residents and their families, easing the concerns that often accompany the monumental decision to place a loved one in a residential community. My Auntie lives there and everytime I have visited her these apartments are so clean inside and out. It smells so good when you walk inside the building and it's quiet. Everything that my Auntie needs is inside the building. I absolutely love the elevators too. One day I had to stop by the office for my Auntie and met Nichole. She was so helpful and very nice. Her smile brightened up my day. This is a great place to live.

I was looking for a senior independent living property for my gramgram and I came across University Square and decided to stop by to check it out. The facility is secure and clean and has decent amenities. I spoke with both the manager Nikki and assistant manager Rosalind who both were very knowledgeable, kind and professional and made me feel like my gramgram would feel at home living there. I especially like that there’s a salon on site which is something my gramgram is going to love. I would definitely recommend this property for senior living.

My name is Constance Bland and I am 3 months into my 6th year of residing at University Square Senior Apartments. I have been more than pleased with my residency, management and maintenance staff. I personally have never had a problem, delay nor dissatisfaction with anyone employed here nor with any service needed or given. Ms. Nikki Robinson, Property Manager-Supervisor, has always been very professional, respectful, informative, knowledgeable, helpful, caring of all and not just a few residents and she treats our place like it's her second home, a home away from home. I love this place always so clean, neighbors are super friendly. Maintenance always done in a timely manner.Nicole is the Property manager and she is so nice and very understanding. Nikki is a sweetheart as manager she put up with alot of disrespectful residents let alone people coming from the outside that are disrespectful as well I have seen it first hand.Hedgelawn Dr. is clean & safe. Great leadership from Nikki absolutely caring trys to help all the residents, thirteenth years I've been a resident & show's my appreciatetion by decorating every Christmas that's the least I can do.Might I add so sorry to see Vera leave another sweetheart good luck in her new endeavor. My mother stayed at University Square for over five years.From the day we arrived Nikki and her staff have always been great. They've always gone above and beyond to make us feel like family.Whenever there was a issue it was always addressed quickly. We were surprised with all they have on the premises from a library to a beauty shop!!!!! Mom never missed bingo night. Her apartment was spacious and comfortable. She was there until her passing we will miss our US apartments family.

I had an EXCEPTIONAL experience with Mrs Vera, her disposition and professionalism was beyond my imagination. She took the necessary time to be kind, show me around and answer All my questions even though she had about 6 minutes before her meeting. I told her I could come back but she insisted I stay. You can tell she cares and I loved it. Normally, I don’t do reviews but I had to Blessings!

I felt welcomed from the minute I walked into the office. Nikki explained everything clearly and she helped me fill out an application. I have never been so comfortable talking with someone. Nikki was great! She was very patient with me. She was such a great help.

I would like to say that my mom has lived there for 10 yrs until her resent passing. Nikki and Vera where doing there job as far as I know my mom was pleased with her living arrangement. she didn't have any problems with anyone.

I thought I loved this place for my mom, however I'm concerned at the lack of courtesy and concern they have for their tenants. I'm very concerned about my mother living in this facility. After attempting to reach my mother and not hearing from her in few days, my sisters and I began to worry. I called the front office asking if they could do a wellness check and was informed by Lynette that they can not knock on my mother's door to see if she's okay and that they don't perform wellness checks, since it's not an assisted living facility. I was told that I need to contact 311. A stranger would knock on a neighbor's door in the community, if they wondered about their safety. I don't understand how walking down the hall is so difficult. My mother is mobile and able to care or herself, however she is senior citizen. This is a senior living facility with an office Admin on staff. The lack of concern they have for people and their tenants is baffling. I bet if they didn't get their rent money, they would walk a few doors down to knock on the door.

I wanted to take a minute to share my experience at University Square. Often, we are quick to report poor customer service or something negative. My experience as awesome. I've been searching for a place for my mother. From the first conversation with Ms. Nikki, she was very warming and friendly. She answered all of my questions and was flexible to meet with my mother and me. Even in the mix of her busy schedule of getting ready for the holiday Christmas party and vacation, she provided a tour of the building. She also assisted with completing the application. This experience made me feel at ease to know my mother would be taken care of and in a safe environment. Thank you so much, Ms. Nikki.

What an adorable place for seniors! It has a community garden and each floor has a room for them to use (sewing room, book clubs, exercise rooms, etc) as well as a place for laundry on each floor and a cute little club house! Absolutely adore this place, I wouldn't mind growing old here!
