My mother was at The Post for 2 years and the care she was given was really outstanding! The love and the patience mom needed with her horrible disease, dementia was given daily and she knew it! She was always clean, dressed and very well taken care of. The workers are so amazing and the love and friendship needed to be in this situation was there for me every single day. The hugs and positive talks were so refreshing and I felt so happy to go to The Post everyday! I have met some wonderful families who have become my friend and so we all just rally together because are family members all have the same disease in some form or another and we can all relate with the uos and downs with Dementia. Thank you to the owners for providing an amazing home for my mom and the other residents to live out the rest of their lives. The activity Director for The Post is absolutely AMAZING as well and she provided such great love and attention to the events and holidays as well, she always had me laughing! Moms favorite was the news of the day at lunchtime, Thank you Moorea you are such a blessing for all the residents at The Post! The houses are always clean , bright, happy and full of life! The owners are so honest, upfront and very easy to talk to you! If you need a place for your family member to live you must look at The Post at Mint Hill!! July 2024.

The Post in Mint Hill has been such a blessing to our family. The small atmosphere and care giver to resident ratio are exactly what we were seeking. The staff goes above and beyond to provide excellent care for my mother in law.

I recently visited the Post Mint Hill while looking for a place for my mother in law. I was so impressed by the atmosphere and the staffs attention to all the residents! There were two caregivers involved with all 6 residents and that is unheard of. The administrator and coordinator there made such a lasting impression. They were helpful, kind, knowledgeable, and truly exhibited compassion for the care they provide. The Post is definitely a place I would feel good leaving my mother in law!

Upon visiting The Post At Mint Hill on friends and family day for Thanksgiving celebration where family of the employees and family of the residents joined together. I enjoyed my visit. The facility felt more like a home setting the owners along with the rest of the staff were so welcoming. The Post was so clean and the staff were all friendly. Most importantly the Residents were so content and happy while engaging with staff, family, and friends.

I have been visiting The Post at Mint Hill for a number of years. I'll have to say that the care/attention that is offered to the residents surpasses all other facilities that I've been to. Thank you to all the staff who do an amazing job!

Please CAREFULLY CONSIDER before leaving your loved one at The Post. This is NOT a locked facility, and they do not attend to your loved one 24/7 as their handbook states. Our Dad was there only 25 days, when caregiver left 4 ambulatory clients in the TV room to go wash dishes in kitchen. My Dad opened the door (which has an alarm that we were reassured they listened for) went outside and fell down 3 brick steps onto a concrete landing. It was a bitter cold January Saturday 2:00pm 2024. When they realized he was gone( we have no idea how long that took, the owner refused to let us see surveillance as to how he even fell)., an Ambulance was called, he was taken to the hospital, he suffered a broken thumb, a concussion, contusions on his forehead, wrist to shoulder and ankle to knee, still continues to complain of severe neck and back pain. AND three days later after chest X-ray, was diagnosed with pneumonia. The Post ask us to remove him he was now labeled "exit seeking". So please use EXTREME CAUTION if your loved one is able to walk at all. Our stay at the post was 1 month. Dad is now with me at my home, still in pain from the fall.

There aren't enough words for me to describe how wonderful The Post of Mint Hill is. My father has been in numerous places and I didn't realize how short they fell until bringing him here. The ratio at max is 1:3. The places we have been before were 1:30-32. The group has become my family. They look after my dad like he was one of their own. They love him the same way. The management is more involved than I have ever seen. From Brooke and Kiara to the amazing staff of Hayley, Autumn, Kat, Corinthian, Sam and the list goes on. You will have a hard time finding anywhere better. It is a small environment with a homey feel and the best people. You can reach a dozen people after hours if you need to. That is unheard of in the nursing home world. They are so wonderful you shouldn't need to though. If I could give them more than 5 stars I would. If you need somewhere to place a loved one where you know they are loved and you never have to worry, check them out. You may see me in the halls checking on my dad. Feel free to say hi. Jennifer or Jenn (as the staff calls me)

We are so happy with the care my parents receive at the Post on Providence. With just six residents, each person receives more personalized attention and builds closer relationships among themselves and the staff. It's like a second family. The staff members are all so warm, friendly, patient and attentive. My parents are happy and thriving. The peace of mind knowing they are well cared for is priceless!

The small group home experience is perfect for my mom. She tried the larger options and quickly became more confused and "lost" in the size and scope of the place. She feels at home with her friends now and the family atmosphere is comforting and gives her peace.. she has told me she likes her house in the woods. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and kind. The facilities are clean and well maintained.. Mom loves the home cooked meals. I am so grateful we found this option in dementia care. -LR

If you are looking for an assisted living home for your loved one(s), The Post at Mint Hill is a great facility. Moving your parents or loved ones out of their home into an assisted living home isn't any easy step to take. We moved our parents to The Post at Mint Hill in January and February of 2022. The staff has been extremely helpful and accommodating in assisting mom and dad settle into their new home. During the admission and move in process, the staff spent a lot of time understanding mom and dad's current routines and habits and how they could keep as many of those habits and routines as the settled into their new living conditions. Anytime we stop by to see our parents the staff is very welcoming and even ask us if we need anything. Most importantly, mom and dad seem very content and well taken care of. We would highly recommend The Post at Mint Hill for your loved one's next home.

When you hear about staff going the extra mile, that's what this facility is all about. Apart from the serene location, the staff are very caring and professional. They take extraordinary care of the residents and are always so pleasant to talk to. Everyone is treated like family which is what I love most.
