I came for a tour to start planning for my mom. My first impression was how pretty. When I entered I was introduced to the facility by Silva. Silva , made me feel comfortable enough to ask questions and explain what my mothers needs. She has a positive, friendly , loving nature and to learn upon our walk, longevity . The facility appeared clean , staff was engaging with residents during an activity program and the aroma coming from the kitchen area preparing for lunch made me hungry. After my tour with Silva. I feel confident this will be our facility of choice. No facility, when needing to make this decision will be perfect enough in our minds, but after my tour my heart is content. Thank you Silva and see you soon.

Since we've moved my dad into Terra Bella, he actually feels and looks better! He was living alone in a four-bedroom house, fairly isolated and not eating well. He initially moved into Independant-Living with the help of Nicole Caruso, Director of Sales who truly helped him transition to his new community. After the first week, he swore he put on five pounds. He was overwhelmed that he was honored at a Veterans Day and Memorial Day celebration put on by Jari Sobecki, Director of Celebrations. After an illness over the Holidays, we moved him into Assisted-Living due to his stage of health. A great feature of Terra Bella is they have Independant, Assisted and Memory-Care Living facilities, so he was still in the same community. Dee Medlin, Area Executive Director, was so genuinely concerned about him, she gave us her personal phone number to stay in contact. My husband and I have met so many residents and staff, it truly feels like home. Terra Bella has not only been great for my dad, but it's given us peace of mind knowing he's being taken care of for his nutrition, medication, activities, dressing and laundry. We feel we made the right decision choosing Terra Bella of Lake Norman!

My Mother became a resident at assisted living Terra Bella in 2022 at the age of 102. The staff here are wonderful caring people. They go above and beyond to see that the residents receive outstanding care. The activities offered here range from games, social gatherings, a variety of musical entertainment and off location outings. Something for everyone. Terra Bella Lake Norman definitely is Exceptional Senior Living.

I appreciate the individual/team efforts made with residents and families. Activities such as bingo, craft corner & guest musicians create a pleasant vibe. I'd feel comfortable/safe with having any of my relatives live here.

TerraBella is a wonderful, caring assisted living facility. I have been so impressed with all of the people who work there. Everyone is helpful, caring, hard working and I highly recommend TerraBella if you need to place a loved one who needs that level of care. Extremely clean, delicious food, fun activities, and highly compassionate. They are top notch in every way! A plus!!!

The front line staff at Terra Bella have been very welcoming, friendly, accommodating and helpful. The living conditions have been comfortable meeting the needs of my family member who has been a resident for close to two years. The major downfall is the food quality. I’ve shared many meals here at no cost, which I appreciate. Being liberal in my assessment I would offer one star.

I placed my father here a year ago and am very pleased. The caregivers are absolutely phenomenal. They have truly taken the time to get to know him, and pay attention to his day-to-day status versus simply going through the motions. Also, you get the same level of care 7 days a week, 365 days a year. They are fully staffed at all times (versus a skeletal crew on weekends and holidays). The entire team goes above and beyond to ensure your loved ones receive outstanding care.

My aunt lives there and she’s having a great time. She loves a live entertainment she loves to dance. The staff is always super nice, friendly and smiling. A rare find definitely recommend!

My mom has been at TerraBella (formerly Elmcroft) for 4 years (2018). She started in Assisted Living and moved seamlessly to Memory Care a year later. The staff has always lovingly cared for Mom, even through the 13 months I was unable to visit her due to COVID. Mom is always clean, safe and cared for in a loving manner. The same Executive Director has been there Mom’s entire stay and she works tirelessly to meet the needs of the residents and staff. Many staffers have been there a long time (a few have been there decades!) and have a passion for working with seniors. I highly recommend TerraBella for your loved one.

We visited many facilities for our dear mother, and in the end we realized we were looking for perfection. No place will ever be "perfect," but we were so happy we decided on Elmcroft, because it became the perfect place for our mom. She had a lot of difficulty adjusting, but the staff kept encouraging us to hang in there. They knew what there were doing! And it wasn't long before Mom was at home, and genuinely happier than she ever was in her previous residence where she spent all her time alone in her room. At Elmcroft, she made friends and felt needed. She was only there a few months before she went home to be with the Lord, but she was very happy during that time. God bless Elmcroft and all the staff--we are very grateful.

Back in the fall of 2018, after searching many different facilities, I found this gem of a place for my then 88 year Mom, who has Dementia and Alzheimer’s. It’s now 2020, she’s 90 and still doing well. Everyone takes such good care of my Mom, and there are plenty of activities to do! There has been constant communications and great continued care during this Covid-19 pandemic... Mom is safe and well cared for. It’s a smaller community, which was perfect for my Mom’s personality and needs. She still is fairly independent and in the Assisted Living section of the facility. I know when it’s time for more care the transition to the Memory Care section will be smooth.

We are so thankful to have found Elmcroft of Little Avenue. I went looking for an Assisted Living facility for a client 2 years ago and she and her family loved it. Her (my client) only question after she moved in Elmcroft was " can you provide help for me if I turn to the worst", Family nights, lots of activities, and family was always welcome. They took loving care of her until she passed in December. The Staff (everyone)even checked in on her several times daily when she would not leave her apt. Sandra did her hair faithfully weekly just the way she wanted and when she (my client) could make it to the Salon. Thanks for the happy memories during her stay at Elmcroft.
